Every night I wash my face with this cleanser after using cleansing oil. It's light and watery, a texture I feel safe putting on my skin. It also smells great and I saw a difference in my face in less than a week after use. My acne has not completely cleared yet, but I feel I will accomplish that if I continue using this face wash.

I was a bit worried about this product at first until I began using it this past month. It lathers nicely with a smell that is neither bothersome nor addictive. After rinsing, my face is soft and clean! I feel a tingly cool sensation every time I use it. I would definitely recommend this product!

This product is not a really effective acne wash, but it does work as an everyday face cleanser. The solution is thin and runny so it is hard to pour into your palm and then put it on your face. The solution is also sticky so it is not really easy to use or something that can be done real quickly. It lathers so it does strip away dirt and oil, but the lather is also hard to rinse away or wipe off with a washcloth. The acne gel wash also leaves behind a slightly sticky residue and makes the skin feel tight, but there are no other side effects. Skin feels clean after use, but there is no immediate affect on acne or redness. It is natural so it has less man made ingredients, but the products with more of these man made ingredients work better. There are more effective washes specifically for acne so I do not recommend this for someone unless they really specifically want a natural product.

As we all should know by now, Burt's Bees is an all natural approach to the overly hygienic lifestyle. Some people do not prefer to use facial products to cleanse their acne populated areas, in my opinion Burt's Bees cleansing is the way to go for any acne related skin problems. The products are so gentle to the point where a baby's skin would not be bothered or irritated by the Burt's Bees products. The Purifying Gel Cleanser is one of my favorites. You do not have to deal with a film left on your skin after washing. There are a lot of facial washes that make your skin water resistant for hours after usage, thankfully this Purifying Gel Cleanser gently removes all the gunk from your skin. No worries about discomfort, you will learn that with an everyday use; you will feel discomfort if you STOP using the Burt's Bees Purifying Gel Cleanser. It really makes a difference in your skin. The scent is great too. The Purifying Gel Cleanser comes in a medium sized plastic bottle with a pop top much like many shampoo bottles. (Pop one side down & the spout is revealed). Very simple, no mess. You won't be losing any of the cleanser due to poor packaging either. This cleanser is great because it does not dry out my skin like most cleansers do. I would absolutely recommend you all try the Burt's Bees Natural Acne solutions. Effectiveness It works so well, smells great & washes your face as gently as warm water. I do not like to use anything else but Burt's Bees on my skin. Ease of Application So easy! You could either squeeze a small amount on a wash cloth, mix in & cleanser your face or you could rub it in your hands and just apply it by hand. Wash, rinse, towel pat dry. Convenience Very convenient. The small bottle holds quite a lot of uses, so you can bring it with you in whatever you are carrying (purse, bags etc.). You could wash your face twice a day for at least a month, depending on how much you actually squeeze out. A little goes such a long way with this stuff! Its very concentrated. So if you are one of the many people in the world who wash their face once a day, (since it gets pretty dry with two washes per day) you would have at least two months worth of washes. Side Effects I have not experienced any side effects from the Burt's Bees Acne Natural Acne Solutions Purifying Cleanser. This product have only improved my skin during the times used. Immediacy I personally feel relief from gross skin at the moment I start applying the wash to my face. After you are done and have rinsed and dried your face, you really do feel refreshed & clean.

I am always on the search for good, natural products. Products that actually work without including a million chemicals. Burts Bees makes a lot of good natural products, but could they make a good facial cleanser without using harsh chemicals? My answer... yes. This gel cleanser left my face feeling clean. After using it, my face felt as clean as it would if I had been using a product full of chemicals. This gel cleanser is easy to use. This gel cleanser is a bit costly, but that's what happens when you buy a natural product. I absolutely love that this product is natural and doesn't use a ton of chemicals to make it work. My conclusion: Burts Bees makes a lot of good products, and this facial cleanser is one of them. Natural, yet effective, it definitely receives a recommendation from me. If you are looking to live a more natural life, but still need to protect yourself from acne, this product does a good job of cleaning your face without chemicals.

I am usually a big fan of Burt's Bees products. That's one of the reasons I was excited to try the Burt's Bees Acne solutions Cleanser along with the fact that it is a natural product. After trying this for several months, I can say that I am not really impressed. The cleanser is thinner than a gel which I don't like, although it does lather pretty well. The first thing that turned me off of this product was the scent. It's very strange. I guess I prefer more fresh scents. The Burt's Bees Acne Cleanser left my face feeling really dry, but not any more than other acne cleansers on the market. I think that as a normal facial cleanser this product works just fine, but would probably not do much for those with an acne problem. I do not have serious acne, but my skin is never completely clear. I always have a pimple or two, with a very occasional breakout. I found that this product did nothing to change or improve the condition of my skin.

I really enjoyed this cleanser. It doesn't have a harsh smell, and feels refreshing on the skin. It cleared all acne within two weeks and also my sisters. It's all natural which is a total plus and is worth every cent. I very much recommend this product!

First off, I have to say, I LOVE BURTS BEES PRODUCTS! So maybe you think my review is a bit biased, but I guarantee that it is not. This products smells like 7-up or Sprite soda, it is also very liquidy unlike most cleansers I have used. Most cleansers are thick which then lather up but this does not have that effect. Maybe it is because it is natural or made out of real lemons and limes or something, it sure feels like it is natural. This is actually part of the Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions line, and this is the first step of three products. There are more Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions products but the three I am talking about came in a set but it can also be purchased separately. Yes, I would recommend to a friend. I have not really been disappointed with Burt's Bee products because whatever they add to it, IT IS SIMPLY AMAZING! Oh yes, they add salicylic acid in it and that works well with my pimples and acne unlike benzoyl peroxide that makes my pimples/acne dry and itch.

I was lucky to get to try this product for free and was very excited to test it out. I am a huge fan of the Burt's Bees lipcare so I thought it would be great. My results however, were not so great. Upon my first use of this product, I had the driest skin of my life. I woke up the next morning with it peeling off of my face and no amount of moisturizer was going to do the trick. I was disappointed but gave it the benefit of the doubt, thinking that it was because my body was getting used to the all natural ingredients. But it only went downhill from there. I continued to have dry, peeling skin on top of the increased amount of acne, and the redness. Also, not only was there an increase in acne, but there was an increase in acne size. My acne was huge! I ended up giving the acne wash to my brother who loves it. I think this is a hit or miss product. My only advice is to keep the receipt, you may need it.
