Unusually good

**Burt's Bees **shampoos take a little getting used to. They are all natural, but they have a very runny consistency and yet are a little sticky at the same time. They also don't lather much, which is unlike most shampoos (but that's a good thing!). **Burts Bees Color Keeper**, in particular, is my favorite of their hair-care line so far. Not only does it smell good, but it works very well. Most shampoos leave my head itching after a day or so, so I have to wash it daily to make my head comfortable. With **Burt's Bees Color Keeper**, I feel no itching the next day and can actually go a day or two in-between washings and be comfortable and not have my hair get greasy in the meantime. It's great!

Burt's Bees shampoo doesn't keep color any better than others

We love Burt's Bees products and have tried many.  As others have commented, the lack of sulfates in the Color Keeper shampoo takes some getting used to.  The shampoo does not foam like others. The fennel and green tea scent is amazing!  I would love a whole line of products with this combination of smells. While this product is mostly natural and contains some natural extracts, the ingredient list includes "fragrance" within the first ten ingredients. In regards to the claims that this shampoo preserves color-treated hair, there was no noticeable difference between this shampoo and others that I have used, even when used in conjunction with the Burt's Bees Color Keeper conditioner.  The only difference was that the texture of my hair felt dried out.

Ahhh, an all-natural shampoo that *works*! **Burt's Bees Color Keeper Green Tea & Fennel Seed Shampoo** is a refreshing concoction of natural oils (coconut, lime, and thyme to name a few), honey, and other earthy ingredients that leave colored hair clean, moisturized, and shiny. My hair is also not greasy once it dries. My only issue, in the beginning, was how the shampoo didn't lather well so it felt odd to use. This is because there are no Sulfates - a *good *thing. Once I realized the absence of Sulfates is the healthiest way to go, I got over the awkwardness and figured out how to make shampooing with this product easier (squirt one small glob at a time into the palm of your hand - because the shampoo is quite runny - and gently massage into scalp. Don't squirt too much at once or it will slip through fingers). This shampoo is a bit more expensive than average, but worth every penny.
