I love this product. I don't have a baby, I use it for myself. I am 29. I didn't have terribly sensitive skin until the past year. I haven't found another soap that I love as much. It makes my skin feel soft. It keeps me smelling good for much longer. And, after trying other types of cleansers and soaps, I love this as my face wash. I wouldn't say my skin in general is extremely sensitive - but it has been this year. This is good stuff. For reference, I have several autoimmune diseases, so having fewer or zero chemicals is very important to me. Overall, I love the Burts Bee's brand. It is, for me, a trusted brand. Performance It cleans gently but thoroughly. It does not make my skin rough. It smells fine but not overpowering - which is important because I am quite sensitive to scents. Generally, I can use this soap and not have to put on deodorant afterward unless going into a stressful situation. That is not true of other soaps. I feel comfortable recommending this product to all sorts of people, from healthy to ill people and to those with sensitive skin. I also feel comfortable using this soap with my little nephew. Scent The scent is not overpowering - which is good because I have trouble with most scents. And it keeps me smelling good much longer than other soaps. Although the baby bee shampoo does have quite an overpowering scent in my opinion, this bar soap is not like that.

I bought a Burt's Bees Baby Bee kit filled with a variety of different products for my son. One of the products in the kit is this **Burt's Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk Soap**. I do like the soap and think it's a nice product, but I probably wouldn't buy it by itself. I like that it's made with 99.9% natural ingredients, is paraben-free and isn't tested on animals. Performance When you rub this soap on a wash cloth, it gets milky and lathers nicely. It rinsed off my son very nicely. I love that it's made with buttermilk because he sometimes gets dry/rashy skin for what seems like no reason, so the gentle, moisturizing ingredients in this soap are a bonus. The reason why I probably wouldn't buy this product again is because of the convenience the liquid soap offers - it's more portable and less of a mess to clean up. Scent I'm giving the scent category a satisfactory rating because you can barely smell it at all. Other products in the kit have a fabulous, light, creamy apricot scent. The scent of this soap is so mild, I can barely smell it when I'm using it, let alone after my son has gotten out of the bath and his skin had dried.
