I heard about Bumble and bumble shampoos some years ago and I had the chance to see them abroad (in London) some years ago but their price was outrageous and I could not afford them (around 18-20 English pounds). Some days ago there was a huge clearance on them, in a big department store here in Greece and I decided to have a go. (I eventually chose the gentle shampoo because my hair is tired, due to haircolor). I was very happy that finally I could get for a very good price such an expensive shampoo, for which, I had high expectations. When I went home and I tried it, I realized that there was not any difference with other shampoos that cost 6-9 English pounds max and are wonderful (they do a very good job.....) without paying/charging the moon and the stars....I would not bother repurchasing again, since I saw no difference between other shampoos and did not reach my expectations. Definitely there is a big marketing strategy behind BB and I do not want to be a victim of it. It is not worthy......

Bumble and bumble site advertises the following, that it moisturizes and adds shine as it gently cleanses - a must for dry, damaged, chemically treated or over-styled hair. That it should be use for those of us that have dry, damaged, fragile, chemically treated, coarse and Afro-textures. It suggests that we use this product daily; followed by Super Rich Conditioner, or Deep Treatment once a week. Now I find daily shampooing dries out my hair and my scalp. It is best for those of us with wavy, curly or afro hair to not wash it at all with shampoo but instead use a silicon free conditioner to wash our hair. That being said this stuff coated my hair with silicon and make it feel lifeless, dry and just icky to the touch. If they would remove the silicon additives this may be a decent shampoo for those that insist on shampooing their hair. However, do not shampoo your hair everyday, try to do it just twice a week. Scent It smells really nice, for what its worth.

Generally speaking i am not picky about my shampoo. I have thick, long. wavey hair and usually anything does well but after trying to shampoo I can never go back. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and clean compared to other products I have tried. It also doesn't leave any residue like some other brands do after continuous use. I would recommend this product for any hair type. I have color treated hair (I dye my hair a dark brown, I am natrually light brown) and have not had any issues with this product stripping my color. I am in love! Effectiveness This product is great at getting your hair clean and soft without leaving it feeling heavy. It leaves no residue even after continuous washes which is a lot to say compared to other products on the market. Scent The scent is light and refreshing with out being to harsh and overpowering. It makes you feel fresh and clean! The scent also lasts throughout the day which makes me feel fresh and clean even after a long day at work.

My hair is complicated. The ends are dry and damaged while the roots tend to get oily extremely quick. I am a pretty big cheap skate and after trying over a half dozen cheaper drug store brands, I figured maybe I should go ahead and fork over the money for a more expensive (well reviewed) brand. I mean, you know the saying "You get what you pay for". I was really hoping that was the case here, unfortunitely I was very wrong. After a few uses, I saw no change in my hair. I continued to use it (one, I was going to at least get my money's worth and not waste it Two, I still was hoping it would at least improve the quality of my hair by the end of the bottle.) Even upon finishing the entire bottle, there was no improvement in my hair. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed in this product. I wanted to forewarn anybody to use at their own will. It seems to work for some and not so great for others. I would definitely not recommend this product. I saw no difference between this expensive shamppo versus a cheap store brand.

I first tried Bumble and Bumble Gentle Shampoo a few years ago, after my very trusted hairdresser recommended it. I really liked everything about it, including the way it made my hair feel. I don't color treat my hair, or do anything to damage it, but I have naturally dry and frizzy hair, which causes me to need gentle shampoo for damaged hair. It's difficult to find shampoo that doesn't dry my hair out, so when I do, I latch on. Effectiveness This shampoo is extremely effective at cleaning and conditioning hair. It's especially good for people like me who have hair that tangles quite easily. Trying to get tangles out, really frizzes my already frizzy hair out, so the conditioning aspect, helps keep the frizzing down to a minimum, because it reduces the tangling. Scent I really like the scent of this shampoo. If you have no perfume sensitivities, you will likely enjoy the scent. I had to stop using this shampoo though, due to the fragrance. My husband has a sensitivity to odors, and any perfume makes him get bad migraines, so I am no longer able to use this. I will never forget the time I had to wash it out, after getting my hair done at my favorite salon, because my husband had a reaction to the smell. I actually cried. That's when I knew that my Bumble and Bumble Gentle Shampoo days were over.

This is a great shampoo to use for sensitive hair. My hairdresser recommended using this shampoo when I was swimming and in the pool during the summer time all the time and with the chlorine destroying my hair, this shampoo helped momentously bring life back to the color and the texture. I really love bumble and bumble products because they are very high quality for a good price and it rejuvenates your hair after wearing it down with over product usage or heating equipment. Also from my experience it helped re-moisturize my hair after extensive chlorine damage and salt water damage from spending a ton of time on the beach in the ocean. The smell is also amazing, it kept my hair smelling good even after ocean and pool swimming. The smell was very fresh and invigorating for the day and during the day. I would recommend any bumble and bumble product knowing that it will be great quality and definitely worth the money that you spend.

I love this shampoo. I do not have the income to buy this as my normal daily shampoo, but every time I go to the salon, this is the shampoo they use. Effectiveness My hair feels clean for at least two to three days after I leave the salon with this shampoo - usually, I have to wash my hair every day or every other day. My hair also feels silkier after using this product. I cant stop running my hands through my hair on the car ride home. I also like the glossy sheen that this shampoo gives my hair. It looks reflective and shiny, without appearing greasy at all. This shampoo doesn't weigh my hair down at all - curls hold just fine after I use it. Scent The smell is definitely unique (and wonderful) for this shampoo. It sticks around all day too, instead of wearing off really quickly. I love the scent that comes with this shampoo, so I don't mind the duration of it. I gave it a rating of 9 instead of 10 because some people may not necessarily want to smell their shampoo all day. To each their own, but I wish this smell would follow me around everywhere.

I've got pretty damaged hair, after years of straightening and curling it without protection, and I often find that I am losing extreme amounts of hair with other shampoos because it's sort of, sticky. With the Bumble & Bumble Gentle Shampoo I have never had that happen. The gentle in the name really means gentle! I use this shampoo and only this because of how great it works! It makes my hair silky, and smooth, not to mention soft! Super soft all day long, it's amazing. My hair feels like I just got out of the salon every day. I will definitely be recommending this to other people! An amazing shampoo! Effectiveness The effectiveness of this shampoo is absolutely amazing, It does exactly what it says it does, and works like a charm every single time I go to use it. The label is clear, and says that it will make your hair shiny and silky, and what do you know, my hair is shiny and silky after using this product! Scent The scent of this shampoo isn't very original, it smells nice, but it smells just like the normal coconut.

I am particular about the hair products I use. They need to do the following: clean, refreshes and make it smell good. This does it all! One of the main features I need in a product is smell. I enjoy the smell of this product. It's not too strong and not too weak. Just the perfect combination. It doesn't smell strong of products at all. I only need to use a little bit. A little goes a long ways. A small dime lathers all throughout my hair. I have really thick and long hair. It is an expensive price for a small bottle that's why I was a little unsure of buying this product. I decided to give it a try based on my instincts. I am glad I did. This product did last a long time. It lasted me a month only because I don't overuse it. I only use a small dime in my hand. That's all you need. My hair usually gets greasy easily but this product contains the greasy feeling and keeps it fresh longer the regular products. I recommend this product and would buy it again.

Bumble & Bumble Gentle Shampoo is everything it claims to be. It is gentle on your hair, cleansing it very thoroughly but without stripping your hair of it's natural oils. It even smells gentle! I would recommend this shampoo for adults and children. It has no harsh irritants and will not dry out your hair or scalp. I use this every now and then when I feel like my hair is starting to become brittle, or in the winter when the air gets dry and my hair gets static. Sometimes this product is even too gentle! I use a clarifying shampoo once a week when I am using this product. I definitely recommend it for gentle cleansing, or even color treated or curly hair. It is a little pricey for the amount that you get, but it is definitely worth it if you're like me and you want to wash your hair every day without drying it out. The scent is ok... It smells like a bath product for children or babies... Very fresh, slightly floral, and powdery. Since it is pretty subtle, it doesn't linger on your hair all day...
