**Broderbund PrintMaster Platinum 16 **is a very user-friendly graphics project software program.  I have created many projects over the years using this software, including calendars and greeting cards. There are 280,000 images that can be incorporated into banners, brochures, business cards, calendars, greeting cards, certificates, envelopes, iron-ons, labels, letterhead, newsletters and more. I've made several personalized calendars using the recipient's favorite pictures and have even made some funny versions using additional software to put people into a different background scene, etc.  There are also free programs online that you can use to accomplish the more unusual photo changes such as putting a person's head on another body, etc.  A program such as Adobe Elements will also accomplish this feat; but the last version I purchased was not very user friendly.  - This software is made to run on **Windows 98/2000/Me/XP**.  I purchased an upgrade for my Windows 7 software to **Windows 7 64-bit Professional **because it has an XP Mode; **however**, **I was able to install and use this software in Windows 7 64-bit Professional without a problem.  I make no guarantees, however, that this program will run with Windows 7.** - One additional note - I had originally ordered a **brand new **PrintMaster program that Broderbund assured me would run with Windows 7 64-bit; however, I had to return it because it was not compatible.  If you love to use your imagination and creativity to make personalized items, you will get a lot of use out of Broderbund's PrintMaster Platinum 16. Compatibility This is an older program; but I have it installed with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Performance There are now online, free programs that you can use which have more features than Printmaster Platinum 16; but I use this program continuously for printing out my digital pictures and puttting them into albums. If you want to insert explanatory text or pictures or borders, it's extremely easy. Please note Operating System Requirments, as this is an older program.
