I bought a 2007 Prius Touring Model and have put 56000 miles on the car in just over two years. My tires have about another 5000 miles on them but today I found a gash about 1.5 inches long and it appears to be down to the belts so I will be replacing the tires early. The tires have been fine. I periodically checked tread wear has other OEM tires (other vehicles) didn't last so long. I am happy with them and plan on replacing them with the same tire type.

Just got a new Honda Civic EX and a week later noticed a bubble in the tire. I went back to Honda and they said once the car leaves the lot they can't do anything on a tire but sell me another one. They said it looked like a belt broke which means the tire was hit. I totally understand all that BUT I DID NOT hit anything. I can't even say it was done on the lot, or when someone test drove the car before me because there is not scuff mark, no damage on the tire what so ever. The rims are fine as well. They are brand new tires and you can see there is not damage. I even went to a store to see if they could help since they sold that tire but they would not. Needless to say, I am not very happy. I plan to follow through with this. I did get a new tire at cost but I feel this is a problem with the tire and it needs to be addressed. I will call this week and see what they will do for me. Wish me luck

I bought a 2007 Honda Civic in Sept.2009.The car has 34,000 miles(great car!)but, the tires lose air and one of the rear tires went flat at highway speed and there wasn't a nail or anything in the tire.Just went flat.I'm very disappointed in the manufacturer of this tire.Don't buy this tire!

My 2007 Sebring is now 2 years old with 60,000 miles. The original el400-2 tires are still on it, and they have been great! It is time to replace them, and I definitely will buy the same tire. I am very happy with the performance, traction, ride, and the wear qualities of this tire. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. When you find a tire that works on a particular vehicle, ride with it!
