Bounce dry cleaner

Okay so I do not know why Bounce claims that this is a replacement for dry cleaning. These are sheets you place in the dryer that are safe for dry clean only items. Only problem is they only refresh and make your items smell good. They do not clean them like a dry cleaner would. Any stains will still be there. It does wonders at getting smells out but that is all this product will do unfortunately. I bought this thinking I could save money and that is not the case since my stuff stills comes out as dirty as it was going in. Performance If you only need this to freshen up dry clean items and make them smell good, then it will work great for you. If you are looking for something to completely replace dry cleaning then keep looking. This product does not clean your items, it only refreshes them. Scent It does smell really good and makes your stuff smell good as well. Takes out any odors in items.

doesn't replace the dry cleaner

The last at home dry cleaning product that I tried, I didn't have such good results with it. When I saw that Bounce has their own "15 Minute Dry Cleaner", I was interested in seeing what this product could do, or if it would flop just like the other one. How the Bounce 15 Minute Dry Cleaner works is you are supposed to treat stains by rubbing the dry cleaning cloth on your stained garment until the stain is gone, and then you throw the cloth in the dryer with the item that needs to be dry cleaned. After you are done tumble drying your item for fifteen minutes it is done, and needs to be hung up or can immediately be worn if needed. It is safe to use on all fabrics even silk, cashmere, and wool. It is supposed to be used to get rid of odors, stains, as well as clean and freshen your dry clean only clothes. I didn't have high expectations with this product, so I wasn't disappointed when it didn't work the way I wanted it to. This isn't a good product to use on stains, even though it says it has the power to get rid of them. I tried it with a stained shirt that was dry clean only, and it didn't get the stain out of the garment at all. No matter how long I rubbed the dry clean sheet on it, it wouldn't come out. I even threw it in the dryer to see if it would work, and it was still there. I ended up taking the shirt to the real dry cleaner, and they were able to save my shirt no problem, and get the stain out. I tried this again with an unstained pair of paints, and I have to say that although it did take the odors out of my pants, and make them smell good, it didn't look dry cleaned. They should advertise this product as a fabric refresher dryer sheet, because it didn't clean my clothes at all. They were still wrinkled, has static, were dirty, and the only thing it did was make them smell good, and make odors disappear. Overall I will not be buying this again, and would not suggest anyone to use this that are looking to clean their dry cleaned clothes. This would only be good to refresh your dry cleaning, and keep them smelling good. That's about it. At home dry cleaning products don't work, I wish they did because it would save money in the long run. Performance It didn't take any stains out of my clothes like it said it could. It left a stain in one of my shirts, and it wasn't even that big of a stain. The dry cleaner was able to get the stain out no problem, but this product could not. I found that it didn't get rid of wrinkles or static either. This product is only good if you want to make your clothes smell good, and take odors away. It does a great job at getting cigarette smoke out. The only thing this will do is keep your clothes fresh in between visits to the dry cleaner. It won't replace having to go to the dry cleaner though. This is more like a scented dryer sheet. Scent The only positive thing I have to say about this product is that it took away all the odors in my clothes, and made them smell like they were freshly cleaned. It was a pleasant scent.

Good but not for everything

This is good if you just need to freshen your clothes between proper trips to the dry cleaners but I would not recommend if you have a stain or need a good press done. For that I would go to my regular dry cleaners and let the pros handle! Performance Good for touch ups Scent Clothes smell fresh

Not worth the money

I recently purchased the Bounce 15 Minute Dry Cleaner. I purchesed this item to use in between trips to the dry cleaners. I was very realistic about what I expected from this Bounce item. I knew this wouldn't be replacement for a professional dry cleaning but I was hoping it would be at least a useful and inexpensive way to stretch my dry cleaning budget. This was definitely not the case. This product is little more than a scented dryer sheet. It did freshen my clothing but the scent did not last beyond the dryer. Also, the sheets could not be reused as many times as the box claims it could be used. The 15 Minute Dry Cleaner was able to dewrinkle some light creases in my daughters ROTC medium weight cotton shirts. However, it could not tackle wrinkles in heavier dress pants or shirts. Overall, I feel this product was not worth the money. I could toss a dampen generic dryer sheet in my dryer and get the same effect.

The Bounce 15 minute dry cleaner is a new product tha has come in handy when I have not had the time to run and drop shirts off at the dry cleers.  This is a good product for what it is. You don't get a full dry cleaning of your clothes but you get a fair tumble and de-wrinkle and some transfer of everyday dirt and odors from your delicates or non-washables. A normal sized box comes with 6 dryer sheets.  They claim to be reusable on up to twenty four garments, but I would recommend not using them to their full potential to ensure the best cleaned cothes.  It is safe to use on acetate, cashmere, cotton, linen, polyester, silk and wool so almost anything goes.  Again, will you receive dry cleaner quality, no.  If you have stains on these items,I would still recommend taking it to the cleaner, but it can be useful if you jut need a general freshen up.  If you don't ask too much of this process it will serve you well.

Oooo.....I bought this stuff and was ultimately disappointed! Parents would never take me to a proper dry cleaner to get my icon collection shirt I bought from lanebryant.com on clearance for like 12.99 (orginally like 99!) so I picked this up hopeing it would do what it said but no...I wore the shirt once! Big mistake going out to eat on a date with my boyfriend in that shirt in a resturant had itty bitty booths so couldnt lean over far enough (and Im self conscious....very...so didnt use the darn napkin til after he insisted when I dropped some food on it ;_; ) And it felt so good to the touch inside and out. But it was just a tiny 2 spotter about 3-4 milimeters a piece...followed the direction even the part about "testing and area for discoloration" but nothing happened there, but this spot ovbiously on my chest...it discolored what was going to be my new favorite shirt! Oh I was so upset! The discoloration in that area is kinda 2 different shades the inner circle being about 1.5 in diameter and the one around that being about 2.5....I wanted so much to buy another one but they no longer had my size....I mean 12.99 wouldnt have been too bad for another one of those shirts but quite honestly I do not recommend this product.

One of my favorite laundry products is [Woolite's Dry Cleaner's Secret.][1] It is a little hard to find so when I found the new **15 minute Dry Cleaner with the freshness of Bounce** I decided to give it a try and compare the two products. **Both of the products work the same:** 1. Choose similar dry cleanable garments. Inspect for stains. 2. If a stain is found rub it with a dry cleaner sheet. 3. Place the garments [2-4] in the dryer. 4. Toss the dry cleaning sheet [no bag needed] into the dryer with the garments. 5. Run the dryer on medium for about 15-20 minutes. 6. Immediately wear or hang garments when the cycle is complete. **Comparing Dry Cleaner's Secret and 15 minute Dry Cleaner with Bounce:** - 15 minute Dry Cleaner can be safely used on acetate, cashmere, cotton, linen, polyester, silk and wool. Dry Cleaner's Secret is safe on the same fabrics *as well as* nylon and ramie.  - Both products come in 6 sheet packages that will clean up to a total of 24 garments. - Both products cost about the same. - Both products say they are non-toxic. **Bottom Line:** While both products clean about the same I give the edge to Woolite's Dry Cleaner's Secret. I trust it and have had several years of experience with it *and* the Woolite product is guaranteed.  I will buy this product when I can't find the Woolite product.   [1]: http://www.viewpoints.com/Dry-Cleaners-Secret-review-5bbf0
