Honestly this meatloaf is delicious. I loved it before they changed the recipe in a frozen meal...currently I'm downing this delicious pair. Of course it's not homemade which shouldn't be expected and yes maybe the meat does represent more of sad cow then homemade, but if your craving meatloaf fast the flavor is delightful always a favorite for me

I had an odd urge for meatloaf. Why? I don't know. Since my son doesn't like meatloaf, I got an individual Boston Market dinner with meatloaf and mashed potatoes & gravy. I didn't like the Boston Market meatloaf. I guess I was expecting it taste more like homemade baked meatloaf. You know - the kind where the outside is kind of crispy and there's some tomato paste or ketchup on top. Clearly the photo shows that the meatloaf has gravy rather than tomato stuff on top, but it does look like the outside of the meat is browned. It really wasn't though, so this was anemic looking meatloaf and rather lacking in flavor. The gravy was the type that has a cornstarch taste which also is not a flavor I like. I suppose it's hard to make a flour based gravy when it's being mass produced and frozen. Still, there are definately better gravies in frozen dinners. The mashed potatoes were good, but the portion was really small. On the box, it looks like you get more potatoes than meat. Actually, the meat is about twice the size of the mashed potato serving. Meatloaf is probably one of those dishes were you expect or hope that it's like what your Mom made. So, if your Mom lightly baked the meat loaf, packed the meat awfully tight, and poured cornstarch gravy all over it, then you may enjoy Boston Market meatloaf.
