Bosch is great for Bread, not for cakes or high whipped eggs

I really enjoy my Bosch. I make bread 2 or 3 times a month and I really need a large enough machine that can handle all the flour that ;my recipe calls for. Mixing Performance The bosch home center really mixes very well. But you must stay within the guidelines. i tried to mix the dry ingredients, but then I was told that you could burn your motor if you don't mix in the wet ingredients also. Ease of Cleaning Eh, the flour and batter do get into the nooks and cranies, but not sure that it's any worse than with any other mixer. it is also relatively lightweight so it is easy to maneuver and you don't need to be a well built weight lifter to pick it up. Ease of Use Very, very, very easy to use. Turn it on, fill the bowl with the ingredients, turn the mixer to low speed and watch it once dry ingredients are incorporated into the wet, turn the mixer up to your desired level. The bowl is a very nice size and definitely bbig enough for mixing 5 pounds of flour. Design Nice simple clean look. Durability Occasionally must replace the beaters.

Had a kitchen aid but later got a bosch!

What isn't to love? It is SO powerful...it is easy to use...the attachments are strong and easy to clean! I had a kitchen aid for a while but later got rid of it because I was so frustrated with how the bowl moved up and down and trying to get an attachment off it was really messy if you were still mixing stuff in bowl. I love the design of the bosch. I like how the attachments sit in the bowl. We also have the blender and cuisenart attachment and they are so powerful! The blender is the best one I've ever had! I make bread every week (at least 3 loaves) and I can mix EVERYTHING in the bosch which makes it super easy and super quick. Don't waste your money on a cheaper kitchen aid...just go straight to the bosch!

The Bosch 700-Watts Universal Kitchen Machine BEST EVER!

I am a big time baker and being from Europe it is so improtant to have great tools to work with. I talked to my mother in Law about what mixer to get and she is a baker also. She said that she had had her Bosch mixer for years and have always love it. so I had to get one. I got my Bosch mixer for Christmas 7 years ago and I have used it and used it and it is still going strong. It holds enough flour to make 8 regular size of breads and I love that because this way I can make bread every other week adn not have to do it every day.  I also use my Bosch mixer to shreed cheese, make my red cabbage so I do not have to cut it by hand. I love that is has so many different features I was use in my kitchen. The mixer that is comes with is great also and it even chops up ice in to finer pieces. I use my Bosch every week to make breads, cookies, cakes and shreeded things. It is worth the money I have gotten my investment back many times over and I would fore sure buy a new one when this one does not work anymore!

Not the prettiest mixer but it makes up for it in quality!!!

I purchased this second hand from a friend of a friend.  I have been wanting to start making my own bread & a friend of mine had told me about this mixer.  I have a Kitchen Aid also but she explained that the KitchenAid's motor is really not made for mixing bread & although it may mix o.k. for the first few batches it will eventually burn up the motor.  That didn't sound very good & after watching her use her Bosch & to see how easy it was - she even makes cookie dough in hers!! - I knew I had to have this one.   She also told me her friend was selling hers so I was able to get it much cheaper then retail!!  But honestly, if you're looking at purchasing one of these mixers - they're WORTH RETAIL!!  This thing can do anything!!!  It honestly isn't very pretty, it's definitely not "counter candy" like a KitchenAid is but it goes above & beyond in quality & versatility.  I love that the blender is attached & am excited I can get rid of another kitchen gadget!!  Blessings in your purchase!

Favorite thing in my kitchen

This Bosch Universal Kitchen Machine is my favorite applience in my whole kitchen. It performes every duty to the upmost amazement of my family. I enjoy cooking with it and have fun using all of the different attachments that you can buy for it. Another nice feature is being able to have a blender while not having to get out a different applience. all i have to do is take out the blender and hook it right on up. Also, it can work through even the toughest jobs. The timer is a very nice option that i enjoy using especially when i have to make bread dough. It does the kneading and mixing for me and all i have to do is sit back and watch. It works like magic!! While it is powerfull it allso is quiet and i perfer it over a stinkin' Kitchen Aid one. Plus there are many different attachments just for mixing. you can buy different beaters and different stuff like that. Overall i say that it is one of the best appliences in my kitchen.

Mom had a Bosch and I knew I needed one too because they are soooooo nice. I love that it kneads bread like a dream and cookie dough is a cinch. All the attachments make it easier to store than a million seperate appliances.

So much better than Kitchen Aid.

If you're a serious baker, don't even give the ubiquitous Kitchen Aid a second thought. If you need a machine that can whip up eight loaves of whole wheat bread without skipping a beat, the a Bosch is the mixer for you. I recieved our mixer as a wedding present eight years ago and have been using it several days a week ever since. I've never had single problem. I've never been able to give the Bosch Universal Kitchen Machine a job it couldn't handle. It is a slight pain to scrap batters out of the donut shaped bowl, but compared to the convenience of having all my major kitchen appliances (mixer, blender, food processor, juicer, meat grinder, etc) in one relatively compact machine, the power, and the superior construction that one small "pain" is hardly reason enough for me to even consider another brand of mixer. But if you just need a mixer to whip up boxed cake mixes and look pretty on your countertop, you're probably better off with the Kitchen Aid.

Bosch kitchen machine--best ever!

This is the best kitchen mixer ever! It works wonderfully. We have had it for several years and have not had a problem with it. It kneads quite a bit of dough. The most we have ever done was ten pounds of bread dough.) It doesn't stick to the beaters. Even cookie dough doesn't stick to the beaters or the hand mixer. Amazing! We love it. We have used this for bread dough, meatloaf, and cookie dough. There is simply no comparison in bread machines or mixers. Cleaning is not too bad, either. The only thing I dislike about the mixer is the little notches in the middle section. Dough (or whatever one is mixing up!) gets stuck iside the cracks. I have to scrape it out. Other than that, it washes up easily. It is simple to use and operate. A friend told us about this Bosch machine and we purchased one and do not regret our choice at all. We have told lots of friends about it. We love it! It works wonderfully.

I can't live without my Bosch Universal Kitchen Machine!

I LOVE this Bosch MUM6622 model univeral kitchen machine!  We have had ours for about 5 years and I absolutely can NOT think of mixing without it again.  I used to always prefer my hand mixer, but by golly, my arm just got so tired on certain recipes that called for a lot of mixing, such as my pound cake.  My husband purchased this for me and told me I would love it, and I do.  It is powerful and I love how I can easily change the paddles and attachments for different mixing.  For example, I make pizza just about every Friday, and I can make up to a triple batch in this model.  I start with the cookie dough paddles (vs. the wisk-type ones---they get too messy and hard to mix with the dough) and then easily switch out the white paddles with the dough paddle piece to knead it.  It is done in about 5 minutes and ready to rise!  I would not even want to think about using another method.  Clean up for at least the pizza is easy as I just let it dry overnight and it comes right off!  I do not use the dishwasher for any of the pieces, as I would hate for it to warp.  Our Bosch store is near us and had extra items I always want to buy and try!  We also love to make smoothies out of it with the pitcher attachment!

One kitchen appliance that gets used a lot

I have had my Bosch mixer for about 10 years and it is still going strong.  I love that I can make dough for 5 loaves of bread at a time (important with you have 7 children!)  Another huge plus is that due to the way the Bosch mixes the dough, I don't have to let the dough rise before shaping it.  a huge time saver!  The blender is a great one, and we use it often to make smoothies.  This is a great mixer and blender in one, and I can't think of anything negative to say about it.  I am really glad I decided to invest in this.
