After six repairman visits on a spec home Maytag Dishwasher, I convinced my husband that we needed to get something that would last.  So we went shopping.  After looking at what was available we chose the Bosch SHU43 dishwasher.  It was GREAT!  Friends and family would come over and be amazed at how quiet it was.  And, the dishes were clean without having to rinse prior to putting them in the dishwasher.  I absolutely loved it!  Had I reviewed it then, I would have given it 5 stars!!  Fast forward 3 years....I have had the repair man here 3 or 4 times.  It is still very quiet, but the water doesn't seem to be getting hot enough, and the dry cycle doesn't work at all. The timer counts down and then adds time and stays at 1 minute for about 30 minutes.  It sure seems like we have replaced most of the parts in it and it still doesn't work right.  I have gone on the web looking for issues with this model and noticed that several dishwashers with this model number have been recalled, but when I called, I was told my serial number was not one of the recall units....I am very frustrated!!  I think dishwashers should last more than 3-4 years! (I hate to say this, but my cruddy spec home Maytag lasted 7 years!)
