I am actually quite a big fan of the Body by Vi Challenge. Although the methods by which the business runs resemble a somewhat shady pyramid scheme, the actual products and the actual diet plan are quite excellent. The Vi Shake drink mix tastes remarkably great; in fact, it is by far the best protein shake diet mix that I have ever tried, and that is certainly saying something because I have consumed my fair share. The Vi Shakes (in the Buttercream Flavor) taste absolutely ideal with blended with chocolate milk and ice in the blender. I would definitely recommend trying that-- although chocolate milk adds a few additional calories, the boost in the flavor is well worth it and will encourage you to stick with the diet plan. Through drinking two Vi Shakes per day and also doing moderate exercise several times per week, I was able to drop a pretty significant number of pounds (around 15) within just a short amount of time (a month or two). I would definitely recommend that people try this diet-- it's easy to follow and tastes awesome.
Drink Smoothies Everyday & Maintain Your Current Weight
I am currently using the "Shape Kit" which consists of drinking 1-2 smoothies a day using their powdered shake mix. It's very similar to a protein shake. I've been doing "the Challenge" for about three months now and I can't say that I see any difference in my weight, shape, or size. I think you have to fully commit to the buying every product they carry (cereal, snack foods, metabolism pills, etc...) to see some results.
After using the product for three months, I haven't lost anything. If anything, I've maintained my current size. I think the "Shape Kit" works for those that want to get a handle on gaining weight, but it's not very effective for those that want to slim down a bit just to better fit their clothes.
I have not noticed any side effects from using the products. I don't believe there are any harmful chemicals in the shake mix. I've not had an adverse reaction to the mix and I've been using the product for about three months now.
Ease of Use
If you don't already have a blender, you'll need to purchase one. Other than that, it's pretty simple. Gather your favorite smoothie ingredients, add the shake mix, and enjoy a smoothie a day. If a smoothie a day gets a bit boring for you, you can try adding the mix to oatmeal or you can try their cereal which is supposed to have the same weight loss effect as the shake mix.
I started using vi shakes after I had my daughter. I was looking for something I can take everyday but not cost too much but also work. This was perfect for me. I would drink one in the mornings and one for either lunch or dinner. I wad also working out a few times a week. My first month, I lost about 14 lbs. I liked the shakes because I had enough energy with them and would feel full. They are actually full filling. The best part is being able to add fruits and other powder flavor to taster better.
It's works great and also good for lifetime usage. My boss uses it daily and lost 50 pounds from using. I lost 40 pounds and have maintained it off.
No negative side effects at all. I am hypoglycemic and this actually helped me by not feeling weak and shaky. It balanced everything for me.

Body by Vi is an amazing product and does work if you need that little extra push to lose the pounds. While using Vi I was losing 4-5lbs a week but right now for me personally it got to be a bit expensive and the taste of the product stated to be bland, even after adding the flavor packets.
It really works and is so easy to do
Delicious and affordable can add to anything and use for weight loss and or weight gain whatever your goal is. Just after the first week I felt so amazing and had a ton of energy. I was even able to keep up with my rambunctious two year old daughter who is constantly on the go and leaves me in her dust.
Lost 10 lbs the first month!! Plus a lot more energy and feeling healthier. Fit into jeans that was two sizes smaller than I was which felt great
Definitely flushed my gastrointestinal system but no abdominal cramps or negative reactions. When you just start your challenge you will have to visit the bathroom quite a lot.
Ease of Use
Can drink with water coffee make into a yummy shake or add to pancakes very versatile!!! Use it a different way every day with a new recipe as well for a whole new schedule

This is a great diet! I have been drinking one shake a day since August. I have not lost a lot of weight but slowly have lost some. The recommend that you drink 2 a day to loose a lot of weight. It has definitly helped with decreasing the amount of money I spend on breakfast because I drink mine in the morning.
I think this diet is very effective and helpful in the diet process. I have seen it work on other people and myself.
I have not experienced any side effects from this.

It is so easy to use. I just use the shake powder and you blend it up and it tastes really good. Most products like this you would think would taste bad but this does not and you can mix fruit or pudding mix in it and make it taste like just about anything. My favorite shake is the butterfinger shake, which is made with 2 scoops of powder, a tablespoon of butterscoth pudding and a tablespoon of peanut butter all mixed up with some ice!

I am going into my 3rd month of Body By VI, and I love it! It's affordable, and doesn't taste like a protein shake. I put fresh of frozen fruit into mine and I'm good to go. When they say it tastes like a cake mix they mean it! Not overly sweet, just right. I'm hooked! i am starting to see the scale drop every week!!!

Great-tasting weight loss shake mix that really works!
I have been on the Body by Vi 90 Day Challenge for two weeks now and I am very pleased with the results so far. The challenge consists of drinking one or two shakes per day, eating one sensible meal, and the option of having two snacks during the day. I drink a shake for breakfast and lunch, then eat my meal at dinner. I eat a snack or two during the day only if I am hungry and feel like I can't make it to my next shake or meal.
The first few days I felt hungry after about two hours of drinking my shake, but when I ate a snack I found that I would immediately get full after just a few bites. I realized by body was used to eating whenever it thought about food, not when it actually needed it, so I eliminated having a morning snack. By day five I was full on just the shakes, a balanced dinner, and a snack around 9:00pm.
I think the shake powder is delicious. It is labeled "sweet cream" flavor and tastes like cake mix to me. I have mixed it with everything from skim milk to dark chocolate almond milk to orange juice to grape juice. The orange juice shake tastes like Dreamsicle ice cream; the grape juice shake tastes like a purple cow (a local diner's shake concoction that combines vanilla ice cream with grape soda). You can mix any fruit into the shake, or even peanut butter or nutella, for added protein and fiber. The Body by Vi kit comes with an instruction book that contains recipes, and you can find more online. It also has a progress-tracking diary.
I have been pleased with my steady weight loss since starting Body by Vi. I was interested in changing my eating habits, to eat when hungry and not just out of habit. I also wanted to stop snacking as I cooked. After the first few days of realizing my body wanted extra food rather than actually needed it, I quit feeling hungry between shakes. Because I am not so sluggish from overeating, I also feel my energy level has increased, or at least I have not been so lazy-feeling.
I have not had any side effects, other than weight loss!
Ease of Use
You mix two rounded scoops of the shake mix with 8-10 ounces of milk, soymilk, almond milk, or juice (or even water), and simply mix it up. I washed two of my sons marbles and put them into one of our reusable water bottles to help to mix out the lumps a little better. If I add fruit or peanut butter I use my immersion (stick) blender. A regular blender would also work. The instruction book also states you can add a scoop of the mix to oatmeal for extra protein.
