the Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks (pink is my favorite, works with my skin tone) is a wonderful product that can be used as a blush, shadow or bronzer.  it wakes up your face instantly!  lots of sparkly, so be careful not to over-do. ;)

I have a couple of the Bobbi Brown shimmerbricks simply because they are high quality and can be used in so many ways.  I love to experiment with my makeup and these shimmerbricks are fabulous for mixing and using in a number of ways.  The most common way I like to use them is a dusting on the cheekbones as a highlighter.  Some of the colors are a little too light to be a bronzer but can definitely give a girl that blush-like glow without being too orange.  As a medium fair person, this is very critical.   I find many bronzers are tough to get just right.  The shimmerbrick helps you to go light and reapply until you get the desired amount.  For girls who are not big fans of glitter, these may be a bit too much for your liking.  Or you can use it my other way, as eyeshadow.  The blush colors can be mixed with the deeper brownish shades to get a very attractive array of colors which look great on green eyes.  I would imagine you could come up with so many different shades that would flatter hazel or brown eyes too.  An exceptional product!

Bobbi Brown is a high quality makeup line, and I have always had great luck with the prodcuts--the Shimmer Brick is no exception! I use the shimmer brick in rose. If you are looking to highlight your face a get a nice radiant glow, this is for you. I apply the shimmer brick as a finishing touch to my makeup. Whether I am wearing foundation, concealer and powder, or just some concealer and light powder, I dust the shimmer brick on using a long handled brush blush. Just a few light swipes across the tops of the cheekbones adds a nice glow. To highlight eyes, apply a bit of the lightest shade on the brick on the inner corners and brow bones. Remember--more is less. If you are too heavy handed or use a shade that is too dark for your complexion, you may end a badly highlighted sparkly hot mess. (:

As a big Bobbi Brown gir, I've been using the Shimmer Brick for many years now. I used to use it as a bronzer, but now I just use it for highlighting (which I think is how they say to use it). The product lasts a long time, and the shades are very flattering and complementary. I also like the way it is designed in stripes of color because you can pick up more of a darker color if you prefer, or use the whitish shimmer for strictly highlighting. Some of products are more of a marble design, so you can't really pick up one color. The one negative is that you can get glitter on you if you use too much (hence why I stopped using it as a bronzer). My husband used to say, "Why do you have glitter all over your face?" (It wasn't really all over, but he did notice it from time to time, especially in sunlight.) Now, he never really comments, which is a good thing! The compact does come with a fairly large mirror, so it's good for on-the-go application.

I bought my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick about two years ago in the color called "Brownie" which is a nice brown rose color. I use it every day as my blush and I just not got to the point where you can see the bottom. It lasts forever and a little goes a long way. I usually put it below my cheek bones and it gives a nice contour and makes my face look skinnier. I always get compliments on it. Although it is pretty expensive it lasts forever! I still can't believe I haven't had to buy another one yet. I am thinking about buying the gold one to use during the summer as a bronzer. I have bought other brands in the past that are a copy of this same type of product (Physicians Formula) and it does not go on near as well. With the Physicians Formula one I have to dip my brush in it a million times to even get any color on it. The Bobbi Brown shimmer brick is made of such great material that you can litteraly just tap your brush on it and have enough to do your blush with.

I am a make-up minimalist if there ever was one. Because I use it so sparingly, when I decide to purchase something it must be a value for the result. The Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick is one such incredible value. The five color combination allows this brick to be used for various looks and purposes. I have used mine as a combination of eyeshadow base and eyeshadow. You can use various color combinations to change from a day to an evening eye. It can also be used as a bronzer with a litlte bit of shimmer. I also use it as blush when I travel so that I don't have to pack a separate blush. Because of the shimmer, you might now like it if you feel like your lids have lots of creases or wrinkles. The make-up stays put all day, and washes off easily with Bobbi's olive oil face wash. I love the versatility of this make up. I have owned mine for four years, and I still have plenty of each color available.

I have the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in pink and I just love it. I am a natural blonde with very fair skin and a lot of makeup can overpower me if the shades aren't natural looking. I wanted a product that would give me that glowy look, but also be natural, I didn't want to look like a disco ball. Bobbi Brown makes great natural makeup that enhances ones features. if you are looking for trendy or cute packaging then this may not be for you. this comes in a sleek black compact with a really nice large mirror. I love that she put mirrors on most her products, it really helps if you're traveling. This has different colored pink stripes that vary from light to darker shades.  You can put this any where on you face and even use these as sheer eyshows although I'm so fair they don't show up too well on my eyes. I swirl all the colors together and put on my cheeks tip the nose and chin and brow bone. It give this beautiful fine baby pink glow to my cheecks, this doesn't not show up as glitter or shimmery particles that you can see, just a beautiful healthy glow, it is very natural. it is pricey but worth it one of the best natural looking highlighters I have found.
