After using various lip balms for the past 10+ years, Blistex is now the only brand I choose. Blistex offers multiple choices ranging from medicated lip balm to fruity flavors. My preference is the dark green tube. The tube lasts a decent amount of time, even for someone who uses it as frequent as I do. The only issue I have with it, is like other lip balms- it seems quite addicting!

If you need instant relief from overly chapped lips or nostrils, use Blistex. It works wonders. Honestly, it is the only lip balm that heals my lips. It stays working for hours too, it does not wipe away easily so you are bound to get relief even if you wipe most of it off.

I used to love Bonnie Bell Lipsmackers and I had a huge collection of then. While I no longer use them anymore, they do bring back fond memories for me. I remember having a large variety of the chapsticks that came in a ton of different flavors (even a lot of fun and wacky ones like coca cola or something like that). That said, I do not think the Bonnie Bell Lipsmackers really do anything in terms of protecting your lips (like other chapsticks are supposed to), but they are fun for kids to play with. I also remember having the lip glosses that came with a wand applicator; they were sparkly upon application and were fun and easy to use. The other product that I remember having was the flip glosses, which were probably the most fun to play with. They were shaped like lighters, and you could flip them open to push up the tube of chapstick (the strawberry scented one was my favorite one I think).

After trying a new kind of toothpaste, my lips got very very dry and started cracking.  They were so chapped, which led to licking them more, which led to them getting worse.  On top of the cold weather and being slightly dehydrated, the toothpaste killed them.  Finally one night I picked this up at the store and used it.  Just that one use really helped my lips.  The next morning they felt so much healthier.  They weren't so dry and cracked, and they weren't peeling nearly as much.  It does have a slight medicated smell and a tingly feeling as well, but this felt so good compared to the itchy, dry, awful way they were feeling before I tried it.  I had tried using olive oil, petroleum jelly, and so many other things and nothing saved my lips like Blistex did.  I think this will have to be my new go-to lip balm and will be in my purse wherever I go.  If you have dry lips, you need to buy some now!

I must express my admiration for the customer service department of Blistex Lip Care Products (as I mentioned in another review on a Blistex product). Not only does Blistex have quality products, but they aslo realize the importance of maintaining positive customer service relations with their customers. Once, I bought a set of Blistex chapsticks only to realize when I got home that they had already expired. I contacted Blistex online simply to ask them whether or not it would still be safe to use a product that had recently expired. Their response completely blew me away. They sent me a replacement product and even threw in two or three samples of other Blistex products for me to try! I really appreciated the samples, and I discovered several other great Blistex products, such as the Lip Infusion product which has a roll-on application. I would definitely recommend this company and its products.
