I recently started refinishing some furniture and was looking for an affordable, small electric sander to make my work easier and faster. Ive never used an electric sander before, so wasnt sure what to expect. This sander is a little awkward for me to hold, but nice and compact. My biggest issue was the vibration. I had to wear gloves otherwise it was too much for me to handle. This sander is pretty powerful, but I had to pick up some extra rough sandpaper as I had a dresser that had lots of coats of paint on it. The paper that came it with wasnt rough enough for the job. I have to say, it is powerful, but the job is taking much longer than I expected. Overall it is pretty useful and versatile, but if you have a larger job, you need a larger sander. I might pick up a larger version for bigger projects and keep this one for smaller ones. Overall for my first sander and major project, this wasnt a bad bet!

I've had this for several years of projects, from easy woodwork to building my own bar. It isn't the strongest product on the market, but it's reliable and it gets the job done, even though it may take a bit longer. For some work, you don't want a super-powerful sander that might blur detailing or take off too much in one spot in a moment of inattention (*ahem*) so this one is perfect for me.

Nice little tool. Powerful, handy and gets the job done. I would purchase it again. Well done B&D. I had some doubts when I first saw this little wonder...and I used the very good return policy as an excuse...to just buy it and eventually return it if not happy. Used it a couple of times....very pleased.....and the thing is still in my workshop!!
