Have you wasted precious time twisting lids, putting them under the faucet, or trying to track your husband down to open them? My parents got me the Black & Decker Electric Jar Opener for Mother's Day last year and I love it! I no longer have to battle to open jars or wait on my husband for help. All I do is fit the jar in the center of the jar opener, push down the top, and within seconds - Pop! and it's open. It works great on things like pickle jars, salsa jars, mayonnaise, and pasta sauce. I wish it worked on bottles of apple juice, but typically they are too big to fit in there. The one thing I don't like is that it does take up a decent amount of space. I wish it was collapsible! This is a great gift for older people, people with arthritis, or people with limited hand strength and the price is reasonable, too!
