We have had this toaster for a little over three years. We use it several times a week, mostly for breakfast foods. My toddler loves toaster waffles for breakfast, so we get a lot of use out of it with just those! There are a few things that I really like about this toaster. One thing that I really like is the retractable cord. We keep the toaster out on our counter, but it's nice that the cord gets tucked away and out of the way when we are not using it. The other thing that I really like about it is that the tray clicks in and out on the bottom. So when there are lots of crumbs, it's an easy job to pop the tray out and throw them away. I think this is a very durable small appliance. We use it a lot in our family and have not had any problems with it. I hope this one lasts many more years, however I would probably look for another toaster of the same brand because I am so happy with it. The only thing that you might not like is that it only has two slots. If you have a bigger family, you may want a four slot one.

I received this toaster as a gift, and have been using it for several months now. Having a small child, we make everything in it, including frozen waffles, pop tarts, toast, bagels, English muffins, and even toaster pastries. Everything that we have cooked in it comes out great now, but I did have a little trouble when I first began using it with finding the right setting. It seemed that if you turned the setting to what I thought would be a "medium" range for toasting, it would burn nearly everything...including frozen waffles. Since finding this out, I now set nearly everything to a very low setting and just pop it back in if it is not toasted enough when it finishes. One thing that I really like about this toaster is the retractable cord feature, as I do not keep my toaster on my counter, but in the pantry cabinet when not in use. The retractable cord makes moving it and storing it much more convenient that a traditional cord option.

Had this toaster just under a year, and its already on its last legs. We dont abuse our toasters but we do use it 5-6 days of the week. This was a cheap option at the store and I guess you get what you pay for. The lever for toasting has stopped working intermittantly and requires you to shake the toaster around and unplug/replug a few times in order to get it to press down and hold the toast down to begin working. It toasts alright, but this is a pretty basic model of a toaster and I wouldnt have any high expectations for it. The retractable cord is a nice feature though. The lever itself does feel cheap and plasticy and like it wouldnt stand up to much force or overuse (if you have kids etc). I didnt expect this toaster to last 10 years, but I expected to get a bit more than just 1 year out of it! Toasting Evenness I havent had too many problems with burning toast, although like most toasters I simply have to keep an eye on how the toast is progressing rather than trust the toaster settings if I want to get the perfect brownness I am desiring. Safety I havent seen or noticed any problems that relate to safety, and use the same cautions that you should with any toaster. Ease of Cleaning It has a nice tray at the bottom to clean out crumbs and burnt pieces, although I havent found its had much accumulation of such crumbs anyways, in comparison to toasters in the past. Durability Seeing as how its only been 10 or 11 months since purchase and some problems have already started with performance, I would say durability is questionable. The toaster is also light and obviously not high quality (nor did I expect it to be) but its okay for a cheap basic toaster. Design For an inexpensive toaster, it is nicely designed and looks a bit more expensive than it is. I like the silver color and black accents and other than the cheap lever, it is decently attractive, especially the defrost/bagel etc button settings.
