The Black and Decker Leaf Blower does an O.K. job blowing leaves. If you expect it to vacuum don't count on it. Weight The leaf blower is o.k. as far as weight goes but could be a little lighter. Performance This blower is pretty good for blowing leaves but does a terrible job as far as vacuuming goes. It doesn't seem to vacuum up as many leaves as I can pick up with my hands. Handling The handling of the blower is acceptable, it seems to be a good size. Ease of Use It is easy to use, just plug it in and off you go. Durability The durability of this blower is not very good. The plastic is very rigid and seems to break easily. As far as the motor goes it seems pretty durable.

The Black and Decker LH4500 12 Amp 2-Speed Electric Leaf blower with vacuum leaf bag is not worth the money if you have very many leaves that need blowing off the drive. For an electric blower I did not expect that it would vibrate so violently, my hands were numb in a short time. We do not have a lot of mature trees, so we thought something light weight would do the trick. We were wrong and wasted the money that we could have used on a gas powered one. Lesson learned.

Every since my husband got his he is addicted to it and my yard has never looked better. It's fairly powerful and it much faster than old fashioned raking. I'll start out and say i threw away the bag on accident when I unboxed this blower. No real loss to me since I never use bags to begin with. That being said, the blower works great on the small jobs that I require of it. It blows out my garage with ease and doesn't cause a typhoon, which is always a plus. I did a little bit of blowing on the sidewalk and yard and didn't notice any problems with it being able to lift leaves off the grass. It is electric so be sure to buy a long extension cord. I use a 100ft which works great for my small yard. I havn't had any trouble with it starting nor any issue with it overheating, overall a great purchase for the price. I don't see myself buying another one for years.

I have been using this Black and Decker LH4500 blower last fall, and I have been very happy with it. Black and Decker customer is great, called them up couple of times for instruction and they were able to give me answer within 5 minutes. This black and decker blower also work as a vacuum, though the bag isn't that big so you'll need to dump the leaf out once in a while. Don't expect this to take all the leaf in your backyard. This is a strong vacuum however, it'll clean your yard in no time. This is corded blower, but the line is long enough for my yard. LH4500 has two speed as the description suggests, I have only used the slower speed mostly. The faster speed causes very loud noise so if you can't stand that, the slower speed is more than enough. This blower is on the heavier side, but I'm able to handle it for couple of hours. It comes with a tube with LeafBlaster nozzle, leaf bag with zipper, adjustable shoulder strap, and air concentrator, basically everything you need for a working blower.

I had an **Black & Decker LH4500 12 Amp 2-Speed Electric Leaf Hog Blower / Vacuum With leaf bag in the past. I did not care for the **Black & Decker LH4500 12 Amp 2-Speed Electric Leaf Hog Blower / Vacuum With leaf bag. it does a great job blowing leaf to the corner of the driveway and to the road side but that is all. the vacuum is weak and does not pick up the leaves, wet or dry.  and the cord does not stay plugged in. it was always coming loose. I believe it was coming loose due to the vibrations and shaking the **Black & Decker LH4500 12 Amp 2-Speed Electric Leaf Hog Blower / Vacuum With leaf bag does. It shake hard and it feels like an upper body work out. My arms hurt for a week aftr using it just once. I would not recommend the **Black & Decker LH4500 12 Amp 2-Speed Electric Leaf Hog Blower / Vacuum With leaf bag. it does not suck up the leafs at all it shakes hard and your arms hurt after wards. I ended up giving it away.********

We bought the Black and Decker two speed electric leaf hog blower vacuum with leaf bag several years ago when we did not want to pay for a gas powered leaf blower. The Black and Decker seemed to be a good corded version, and although it is a little bit of a pain to get out the long extension cord, plus this wieldly leaf blower, we do not use it too often, so it is not too big of a deal (although sometimes that makes it a deal breaker whether we blow off our driveway and sidewalks after we mow and weedeat). It does its job well, either as a blower (the two speeds are very powerful - it is strong enough to blow rocks around), or as a vacuum (although this is my biggest complaint - the attachable leaf bag just gets dirt and dust blown right through the material of the bag outer. Also, when dumping the contents of the leaf bag, I feel like I need a respirator to keep from breathing in all the airborne particles). It is also a bit bulky to store, as there are multiple pieces and attachments, but it works well for our uses.

The Black & Decker Leaf Hog is a great product. It is good for smaller lawns.  I have a big lawn and have to use a long extenstion cord to get to most places.  This product does not work with wet leaves. it cleans it all up it the blower it could  enhance things the way it goes it will enhances any tool shed so if asked if you want a nice lawn or you trim the hedges you can count on the black&decker leaf hog blower. The Black & Decker Leaf Hog Blower works wonderfully and is very easy to figure out and use. It's light enough so I have no problem picking it up frequantly, and it works really well for the price that I paid. The only down side to this item is that if you have a big back yard you have to buy or own a large extention cord in order to use the leaf blower in the whole back yard. The item was cheap and easy to locate. I would recommend anyone to use it and try it for them selfs. Go for it guys!!!!

The Black and Decker LH4500 12 Amp 2-Speed Electric Leaf blower with vacuum leaf bag is not worth the money and you are much better off spending a bit more and buying a gas blower, or at the very least not purchasing this product and instead buying a different type of electric blower.  First, the cord does not stay put and it turns into a total pain in the neck.  The thing vibrates so violently, unlike any blower i have used in the past and it becomes almost unbearable to use it for more than 15-25 minutes at a clip before you feel like your hands are about to fall off.  It technically does it's job and blows leaves, but it is not very powerful, but if you really want a very powerful machine you should be buying a gasoline powered blower anyway.  It is also very difficult to switch between the 2 speeds while still maintaining control of the blower, so i almost always used the same speed.  this product isn't awful, but money is better spent elsewhere.
