I purchased the Black & Decker 12 Cup Coffeemaker when my other coffee maker started taking too long to brew. I liked the looks of this coffee maker. I have other Black and Decker items so I thought it would be a good purchase. I was wrong. The flavor is not the same after coffee is brewed. I don't have any idea what is wrong, why the flavor is so weak. It's not the amount of coffee I put in, as it's the same amount of grinds and same size as my other coffee pot. Brew Performance I do not like the way my coffee comes out after it is brewed. Weak coffee taste, It doesn't brew faster than normal, so I ruled out that reasoning. Ease of Cleaning The canister is easy to clean either on top rack of dishwasher, or with hot soapy water. The cup the filters sit in comes out and can be cleaned also with soap and water. I use vinegar and water on the outside of the coffee maker, it cleans the coffee off nicely. Easy to clean as with most makers. Ease of Use This is a very easy machine to use. You can program the coffee maker to come on when you want. Fill with water, put coffee in liner inside, and it will be ready in the morning. I do not use this feature on this maker because of the flavor lacking. Water sitting in the pot overnight would not help. All and all it is very easy to program, set the clock and run the machine. Design I liked the design. Doesn't take up a lot of room. The white with a stainless steel strip looks very nice in my kitchen. I like the large 12 cup capacity. Durability I haven't used this maker that much because of the lack of brewed flavor. But it seems like it would last. Good design. Great construction on the outside.

It is an okay coffee maker for the price that I paid for it, and it has done the job, although not well for over 6 months. Brew Performance It has a tendency to overflow and the coffee pot doesn't sit just right under the valve to push the coffee into the coffee pot. Therefore my counter top ends up covered in coffee. Ease of Cleaning I have to clean it completely out every time it overflows, otherwise it's easy to clean.

Bought this for 'everyday' use. I wanted one that was reasonably priced and programable yet didn't take a rocket scientist to operate. This tank opening is large so is easy to pour water into without getting water all over the counter. The 'ergonomic' handle is a bit awkward for me to use because my hands are relatively small, but I quickly got used to controling the pot with one hand and guiding the spout with the other. Being able to 'rob a cup' while it's brewing was a priority in choosing a new machine and I've never spilt a drop yet. This is the 3rd pot of this model that I've gotten several years use out of before it died, and I would quickly replace it with the same pot again. Ease of Cleaning Only average on cleaning. Ran vinegar thru twice just fine and it cleaned well - but had to run three pots of water through to rinse all the vinegar smell and taste out of it. Durability This is my third pot like this. Both the others lasted several years under heavy multi-pot-a-day use.

This is a decent product. It's not much different from the other ones you can find but still it's a cheap one and it worths the money. You can set the timer to start brewing in the morning and you can wake up with the smell of beautiful coffee :) That's also easy to clean if you don't leave the coffee for long time after you are done with drinking it. It also keeps the coffee hot for a long time. It also has a auto turn-off feature. Even if you forget and leave that open when you are leaving the house, it will automatically turn off after a while. That feature doesn't work if you didn't set the time though. Anyways, that's a good one if you are not looking for something special. I'd recommend that. Happy brewing! Ease of Use Very easy to use. Just put water, coffee and push the button. That's it. Design I think it looks good, at least I like it. Durability We didn't have a problem with the product so far. I think it's quite durable.

It is a basic coffee maker nothing fancy but it is useful and easy for using and programming . The size is also perfect for keeping on the kitchen counter and I like the feature it comes with to program what time for your coffee to start brewing every morning . I recently started using it because I use to not drink coffee until I got sick and was only drinking coffee so I tried to make myself a cup and was surprised to see how simple it was to use even if you have never used it before . Brew Performance We have never had a problem with the performance it always brews right and quick as possible . It never comes out tasting bitter or nasty . This also has to do with keeping the coffee maker clean . Ease of Cleaning It is also easy to clean there are pretty much 3 areas that are always going to need cleaning and all you need is a wet paper towel to clean the inside where you put the water since that is close to the cord. Ease of Use Very simple and straight forward just read the buttons and you will know what to do . Design The design is also very basic but nice , the white with grey looks good together and matches almost with everything . Durability We have had this coffee maker for over 3 years and never had a problem when it did not work or anything . It still works and is not slow or anything same as when it was new .

My husband and I really like this coffee maker. It is so nice to wake up to fresh and hot coffee in the morning. We can have it ready at the time we specify and it is fantastic to have that feature let me tell you! It is awesome! We love having it as soon as we wake up so we were sold when we saw this one and at a very reasonable price, I might add. It is very easy to use, I love the clock and timer features. It has been very durable for us and works great! We have had no problems at all with it. It is fairly easy to clean too, no complaints there, for us. I think it is a "win-win" over all as far as quality and value with a brand that we know and trust. We like it a lot.
