I really like this carpet cleaner. I have had this carpet cleaner for approximately five years and use it every few months. I am a cleaning fanatic so when I find a product I really like I want to share it with others. I am able to clean seven rooms with carpets in as little as three hours. The carpet cleaner is very easy to use. The water and solution bucket is very easy to remove, fill up, empty, and replace. You can see the water changing color right before your eyes so you know that dirt is being removed from your carpets. The price is not bad either. Sometimes quality products can be expensive, but this carpet cleaner is worth the expense. It does a great job and will last you several years. Maneuverability The carpet cleaner goes forward and backward quite easily. It does not turn very well, but it is somewhat lightweight and easy to pick up and move. Ease of Maintenance The carpet cleaner is very easy to clean. The water compartment pulls right out and can be rinsed with soap and water. Every other use I ad some bleach water to get rid of all the grim. Suction Performance The carpet cleaner suctions up the water from the carpet very well. I usually run the carpet cleaner of the carpet twice and the carpets dry within a few hours. Versatility This carpet cleaner does a great job on several types of carpet. Design The design is very plain and simple. There are no bells and whistles to this carpet cleaner. The design makes it easy to use. Durability I have had this carpet cleaner for approximately five years and I have had no issues with it. I have not had to replace any parts to it.

We bought this for my mother in law because she had asked for it for Christmas. Well I borrowed it to clean my carpets, furniture, and my cars carpet and seats. I fell in love with it, so I had to go out and buy my own. It really gets down and sucks out all the dirt, when I was emptying the water I was disgusted it looked like mud. I never realized how dirty everything was until after I used this carpet cleaner. I have three kids and the carpet was in our house when we moved in and it was horrible, after I used the Bissell ProHeat 2x Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner a couple of times the carpet looked new again and it is a very light tan color so that is saying something. I would recommend this machine to anyone that wants the best clean that they can get. Maneuverability It glides easily over the carpets but still has amazing suction power. I was able to use the attachments and clean the furniture, the stairs, and the entire inside of my vehicle. The carpet cleaner itself is not to heavy for me to carry up and down the stairs and in and out of the house. Ease of Maintenance The Bissell ProHeat 2x Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner was very simple to use. There is a separate compartment for the clean and dirty water as well as a separate compartment for the cleaner. It was easy to use and easy to clean up after I was finished with it. The handles were the perfect size and made it easier to lift up the water compartments. I have had other carpet cleaners that were a pain to take a part and put back together and with this one my kids can do it. Suction Performance The suction power with the Bissell ProHeat 2x Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner is amazing. It sucked so much dirt and grime out of everything that I used it on, dirt that I didn't even know was there because it didn't look that dirty. I didn't have to wait for days to sit on the furniture or walk on the carpet, everything was dry by the next day. Versatility I can use the Bissell ProHeat 2x Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner on my carpets, on my furniture, in my vehicle, on the stairs, and everywhere I tried to use it. Everything has its own spot and its easy to take apart and put everything back together. Its not to heavy or to bulky like some other machines I have used in the past. Durability I have had the Bissell ProHeat 2x Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner for a couple of years now and its still holding up great. My son knocked it down the steps by accident and it didn't break to pieces. If it can handle my household it can handle anything.

My view on this steam cleaner is that if I had the choice again, I would not purchase it. It is a total waste of money. I would have been better off renting a steam cleaner when I needed it. I purchased this with a gift card and did not use it for almost a year after the first purchase. My sister was moving and needed her apartment's carpet steam cleaned, so I volunteered mine. I went over to help her and my steam cleaner stopped working after the FIRST USE. I was almost finished with her apartment and the whole thing just shut off. The worst thing was that the warranty was expired because it was only good for a year. So, I could not return the product or get a new one. I was stuck with a steam cleaner that barely worked for one use and I could do nothing about it. I was very unhappy. I would never purchase a steam cleaner from Bissell ever again. I have not had trouble with their other vacuum products, but this is one that I would not recommend.

We purchased this carpet cleaner several years ago and have really liked it and it gets a lot of use. Once our grown children discovered we had it, it has spent more time at their homes than ours. All of us have animals and they have toddlers and this machine does a really excellent job cleaning up stains, including pet stains. It is easy to see where it has been used when cleaning. The steam clean means that you can even clean minor spots without having to add a soap to get the stain out. The water holder is easy to fill and empty. It is not the lighted deep cleaner but light enough that I can use it and I am a petite 61 year old. My husband is a fanatical "keep your machines clean" type of man and we have found the brush area easy to take apart and clean while still maintaining it's reliability once it is put together again. My son did crack the front plastic piece on it but we had no difficulty getting a replacement piece at a low cost. Overall it is well worth the price

Having two dogs in the house is sometimes a smelly situation. This carpet cleaner is superb! It is lightweight enough that it does not hurt your back to push it back and forth. It comes with easy instructions. It is very easy to take apart to clean. It pulls up most of the water from the carpet making drying time much less than the carpet cleaners you rent.

I have used this carpet cleaner ever since I moved in to our old apartment with my boyfriend, our daughter, our dog and our 4 cats. Not only the animals but my daughter and boyfriend made a ton of mess all over the light cream colored carpet. And when his friends came over they made it look like we lived in a mud pit. The first time I used this I couldn't believe how clean the carpet had become. The container that holds the dirty and clean water are not very big so you have to stop frequently and empty it out so you can keep going. I like that it moves around like a vacuum but I wish the handle of the hand held cleaner was a bit longer. It hurts your back continuously bending over to reach small areas with it. The attachments for the hand held cleaner work excellent on fabric furniture. And the carpet cleaner weighs a good amount so if you have to take it up and down stairs I would suggest having someone who has some muscles doing the heavy work for you.

I was amazed at how well this machine cleaned and vacumned up soiled water, then after a few uses the spraying stopped. Maneuverability Easy to use, lightweight. Suction Performance Great suction Versatility Easy to switch from floor to upholstery tools. Design Poor. Stopped spraying after a few uses. Read up on it, and read problems with heater causing sediment that blocked the water flow. Could not get screws out to repair. I would buy a model with out the heat option. I bought my Bissell to clean my house and I use it to clean motel rooms. It is very light weight. Easy to use. The floors in the rooms were almost black from guest tracking in dirt, spilling drinks etc and I only had to go over the floor one time to get it clean. I also love that it has one container for both the clean and dirty water so clean-up and refill are easy. There are no little hard to clean areas of the bucket or the scrubbers so keeping it clean is so easy.

My husband just bought me this recently and I love it. I have pets and this comes in real handy due to accidents that they may have in the house. It is also great for just everyday traffic throughout my house. It is extremely easy to use and it does a great job. This product is much easier to clean than some of the older steam cleaners which is great because it does not smell bad like some can if you can not clean them completely. Certainly recommend this product. Maneuverability It is a little heavy so it can get tiring to push back and forth but it does maneuver fairly easily when you have to move to different areas. Suction Performance It does a great job with suction because when you wet the floor there is not a ton of dampness left after you walk over it so you know that it is sucking the water up correctly. Design The design makes it easy to clean but the weight of it can be a bit much sometimes especially if you have to tote it up and down stairs.
