This worked extremely well picking up pet hair and dirt off hardwood floors

This is a tough little vacuum. We have two boys who help vacuum with it and the are not the easiest on appliances, clothes, vacuum's or anything in general. lol. But this vacuum seems to be holding up to the everything they have thrown at it as well as doing a good job of cleaning. We have two dog's one is a long haired Chihuahua and English bulldog. And they both shed but as anyone who own's bullies know's the shed a pretty good amount and this vacuum get's everybit of their hair off the floor and furniture. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one that's for sure. Maneuverability Move's pretty good still a vacuum without a rotating body. Ease of Maintenance Easy to clean and maintain. Suction Performance Suction is really good we have some rooms that have area rugs and it will literally suck the rug up off the floor so be careful if you have area rugs. Versatility Pretty versatile just wished the head swiveled to move better but pretty good for the vacuum. And it does have quite a few attachements that make it easy to get to hard to spots. Design Like I said earlier just wish it had a rotating ball to make it easier to rotate but it's still pretty nifty and does a good job. Durability This vacuum has been a really good vacuum and does a good job and it still does as good as job as the day we bought it.

Since we had three dogs, all of whom seemed to be constantly shedding on our carpet, when I was looking to purchase a new vacuum this seemed to be the perfect choice. Not only does it come with the traditional vacuum hose attachments but it also includes a dog shedding brush as well! The shedder attaches to the vacuum hose so that as you brush the dog the hair get sucked directly into the vacuum. It's pretty ingenious, as long as you can get your dog to sit still while you brush them next to the loud vacuum. Only one of my dogs would tolerate it willingly. The spinning brush attachment is no good though. There is a design flaw. It doesn't open so there is no way to clean it out. If you're using it to pick up any dog hair and that hair gets wrapped around the brush there is no way to remove it. Maneuverability This is a fairly heavy vacuum. It maneuvers pretty well but no better than similar looking vacuums. Ease of Maintenance This vacuum is easy to maintain. It's easy to empty the collection canister and the filters are washable. Suction Performance I think the suction performance was really good. Versatility With the dog grooming brush attachment, I think this is probably one of the most versatile vacuums out there! Durability This vacuum only lasted us a few years. I really felt like it should have lasted longer.

I really love this vacuum. We have a Border Collie and a Corgi and LOTS of pet hair. The vacuum pulls it out of the carpet and furniture. Lots of attachments to help with stairs and corners. I love it but our dogs still scatter when I start to vacuum. I guess, they just don't appreciate quality. Maneuverability Moves easily and it isn't very heavy. With the attachments, there are very few place in the house I can't reach. I can sit the vacuum on the landing and do the entire stairway. Cobwebs are a piece of cake! Ease of Maintenance The only thing you have to change is the belt. The drum is very easy to empty. Occasionally, I rinse the drum but it isn't really necessary. Suction Performance Excellent! I use the wand to go under the couch and even if I have the additional wand length on, it doesn't effect the suction. The attachments don't change the suction which is huge when you're battling fur. Versatility With the selection of attachments, you can do anything with this vacuum. There are a couple of different brushes and a "rake" that I use on the carpet on the stairs. There is a spinning brush that works beautifully on furniture and we also use it in the car. There is a rubber edged brush attachment I especially like for cob webs because it doesn't matter if I bump the wall. Also protect curtains from getting sucked up. Design My only real complaint is that the attachments are easily knocked off. I wish they were more secure so they were always handy. The cord and the hose are a good length to allow me to move around without having to move from outlet to outlet. Durability We use this vacuum *hard* with all the pet hair and it works great. We've changed the belt a few times, but have had no problems.

Being that I have a dog and kids, this is perfect for picking up the little things they leave behind. It is great at removing the dog hair. It is on the bulky side, but most vacuums are. I use is to clean out my truck, stairs, upholstery, even to vacuum the hardwood floors. Maneuverability Being on the bulky side, when I'm trying to get close to the walls, it is a little difficult. Ease of Maintenance Bagless design makes cleaning out all of the collected dirt a cinch to clean up. Suction Performance I have not had any issues with suction performance. It works well with the attachments and doesn't lose any suction. Versatility Being that I have kids to clean up behind, I use this everywhere. Design Collection container removes easily to empty. Hoses remove to get hard to reach area. Easy to use vacuum. Durability My dog sheds so much and this machine gets all of the hair. It hasn't lost any power because of the hair and has stood up to my trips up and down the stairs.

Great suction on carpet and tile (I don't sweep). I used it immediately after I vacuumed with my old vac and it picked up tons of stuff. The attachments work well, especially the rotating carpeted stairs attachment. It gets the stairs significantly better than just a standard attachment without bristles. The filter is easy to clean as well as the bucket easy to dump. The cord is fantastically long. The negative? Other than the stair attachment, the attachments are very basic. The first week I owned this I knocked it over when using the attachments and the base for the attachment tube cracked. Now it is constantly falling out causing the suction to fail...very annoying. I would hope that vacuum plastic would be more durable as I'm sure I'm not the only one who knocks over their vacuums. It is also very heavy to push and lug up and down the stairs.

I read several reviews about this vacuum cleaner and decided to purchase it.  All the reviews that I found were good and upon first use I will have to agree so far.  My last vacuum that was given to me broke just as I was finishing vacuuming.  I purchased the new one two days later and used it the first day.  To my suprise, it filled the canister half full.  It did a great job of standing the carpet up and appears to of done a great job of cleaning.  Now, today I did read several negative reviews about certain problems.  I will have to update after a few more uses to see which category it falls under.  So far it is great..

I purchased the bissell powergroom online from walmart price was good shipping was fast. this is my first bissell but the best vacuum i have ever purchased. i have a one year old in the house and needed something to pick up dog hair. we have a 10 year old german shepard who sheds like crazy.  I wasnt to sure about gettting a bagless cleaner but this one is easy to empty nice large container no filter to get in the way. the first time i used the bissell powergroom pet thought i got it really cleaned went over a second time and was surprised how much more it picked up . the vacuum came with several attachments i have used all of them. It also cleaned the furniture and the steps were also a lot easier . When my daughter vacuumed the living room she said the thought it was going to suck carpet off the floor. when i got the vacuum in the mail it was one of the easiest to assemble and had good instructions. I will probably always buy a bissell from this point forward.
