When I bought this Bissell I thought it was going to make my life easier...wrong!! It does NOT do what Bissell claims...I would NOT recommend this product to anyone..not even my worst enemy, yes it's that bad!! Maneuverability It maneuvers fine and gets in tight spots....the only problem is it doesn't clean those spots!! Ease of Maintenance All of the dirty cleaning product and the items it does manage to pick up, go into a reservoir that snaps on and off the Bissell. It's a little disgusting to clean. Suction Performance It virtually picks up hardly anything!! I find myself on my hands and knees picking up everything that it was supposed to pick up. When you flip it to use the side that is supposed to clean the floor (with the cleaning product), first off it doesn't seem to want to spray out so you continue to push the button for the cleaning solution and you end up with a ton of solution on your floor. Then, to top it off, the suction of this Bissell is absolutely worthless. I have to go over the floor to hand dry it and if you leave the bissell standing upright for a minute, it will leave a dirt mark on your floor where it was standing...this is a very bad design. Versatility Neither side of this flip Bissell work effectively..I don't have anything good to say about it! Design The idea is great....this product just doesn't do what Bissell claims it will do...do not buy this...you are throwing your money in the trash if you do! Durability I guess I can say it's durable (but then again, I have only tried to use 4 times and each and every time nothing but disappointment and aggravation).

Couldn't do without this little gem. Wonderful suction...picks up amazing amt. of pet hair each day. Easy to empty cup and filter....can use as a dry vacuum or with wet floor cleaner fluid...battery stays charged long enough to do entire kitchen and two bathrooms before needing recharging. No cord to contend with....makes for easy manueverability. Only problem at all is that the two velcro strips that hold the cleaner pad in place have come off..but after 5 years of use that isn't too bad. I just replaced them with strips you can buy in the drugstore and it works fine. I really love this little vacuum and makes living with two cats a lot more pleasant. Does not work on carpeting very well...but it wasn't meant to.

Versatility Not for carpet use but it is designed for hard surfaces. Design Very nice design. Durability Is holding up very well to use on my floors 2 times a week on avarage.

I actually found this product on a garage sale and after contacting the company for a couple of missing parts I was ready to use it in my kitchen. It was easy to purchase the replacement parts I needed from the company's website. I was surprised at how well it cleaned, especially since I don't own any other type of heavy duty hard floor cleaner. It is very easy to fill with water and cleaner and the flip feature is my favorite thing about this product. The vacuum works well as does the wet vac side which squeegies the water it just put down when you pull back. One downside to this feature is that it's not easy to clean out the dirty water tank. The filter and tank have to be rinsed off and the filter has to be air-dried before being re-inserted. All in all it is a good step up from a Swiffer but a step down from a steam mop.

The Bisell 5200 Upright Wet Dry Vacuum gets the job done. It is small and does not take up a lot of space. There is a lot of power in this little vacuum. It sucks up the dirt as well as messy spills. I have no complaints. it works well for it's small size.

I've owned this vacuum for a while and have used it several times a month on my tile kitchen floors.  I like the cleaning power and it does well cleaning up after the 2 dogs and 2 cats that are in our home, but like most Bissell products I own, after a short amount of time they seem to crap out and not clean as well as they are supposed to.  Of course, it's usually after the warranty has expired so the product ends up being more junk in the garage.  It didn't stop me from going out and trying the newest Bissell products, but luckily the newer vaccuum has a longer manufacturer's warranty, which is desperately needed!!  I like the wet/dry idea and it makes cleaning pretty easy, but be aware that the inital power won't last forever and you'll likely be in the market for another product within a year or two to replace this Bissell.  If only Bissell could make products that could withstand normal use for several years!

I was so excited when I first purchased the Bissell Flip It.  I thought it was a wonderful idea, you vacuum your floor and then turn your vacuum around and use it to mop your floor!  I thought this would be a huge time saver.  Wrong!!  First, the Flip It is quite a bit bulkier than your broom and mop and that means there are several spaces you can't get to without attachments.  The problem is that the Bissell Flip It has no attachments.  So, while the vacuum does pick up well, without attachments you still feel like you're not getting your floor clean.  I have a problem with mine leaking and have read that this is a pretty common issue.  While mopping you must make sure that you lower the handle enough when bringing it back towards your body or the suction just doesn't suck.  And don't expect this baby to clean a really dirty floor, it won't, this is for light cleaning only. Honestly, I have found that the Bissell Flip It takes too much time and is more of a hassle to use than a broom and mop.  A great time saving idea that doesn't save time.

I received a Bissell Flip-It as a gift, when we put down the hard wood floors last year.  I'm am not very fond of this cleaner.  I have a hard time finding the cleaner in stores.  A flip it is where you can go from a dry to wet cleaning. I personally don't think it picks up as much dirt as my regular broom.  I feel like I send hours trying to vacuum the floor.  After vacuuming you can flip it and it turns into a "mop".  The wet part isn't bad and seems to do a good job.  Make sure you fill the tank with cleaner and empty it when you are done.  I had forgotten once and some bumped into the vacuum and the tank came out and dumped all the dirty water on the floor. After wet cleaning you also need to take to cleaning pad off of the bottom and wash it.  Yes you may through it in the washer.  I love the idea that you can reuse the cleaning pads.  Make sure you also check the filter.  If you wash the filter please make sure you let it air dry.

Although this product is very quick and handy it does not fullfill all it promises.  The combo tank if not emptied between vaccuuming & mopping is terribly diffucult to clean and who wants that mess in their sink.  The scrubber brush prevents the suction needed to pick up the water from the floor. The basic cleaning needed for quick clean ups, it does well.  The pads can be thrown in the washer and sanitized.
