I have cocombination skin depending on the time of year and the environment. If it's hot and sticky I have oily skin and during the winter months my face is super dry and flaky. I also have small blackheads on my nose area from time to time and I always break out once a month so a lot of face products do not work well for me and I have to be careful of what I put on my face. I was a little hesitant to use this self hearing mask but I decided to give it a try. I didn't suffer any problems with my face and it left my face smooth and soft. It didn't break me out and I love the heat the mask generates. Its easy to use you just dampen your face and open a packet and apply on the face and let it set. It feels so good while it's sitting and the heat feels good and relaxing. It didn't rid me of The tiny blackheads but it didn't cause me any problems. It did help with my oily spots and it seemed to even out my skin tone. My face felt nice and smooth and not at all dry. I like to use this every now and then but I haven't been able to find any lately. I hope they aren't going to stop making it because out of all the self heating masks there are this is my most favorite of all. I definitely recommend it because it feels great to use and the heat opens face pores and it's even a good idea to wash with your favorite cleanser after using the mask while the pores are open from the heat of the mask.

I was looking for something to clear out my pores and after careful research I decided on using Biore Self-Heating Mask. I cleansed my face first before squeezing the charcoal paste on to my fingers, which I found to be very gritty and difficult to spread. I would then gently work the paste over my face and during this process my skin started to warm up. It also caused slight tingling, but it only lasted for 20 seconds. After one minute I rinsed my face off and didn't notice any change in my pores. I figured that this product needed to be used for a while before seeing results so I decided to use it 3 times a week for a month. I didn't see any change in my appearance after my first week of applying this paste. During my second week of use I had a minor breakout, but it subsided after a couple of days. For the next couple of weeks my skin remained exactly the same. I definitely wouldn't recommend Biore Self-Heating Mask because it did absolutely nothing for my clogged pores.

Biore Self-Heating face mask is really a cool product. I used this for years in my early twenties and really felt like it made a huge difference in the feel of my face and appearance of my pores. Biore self-heating mask is a small, thick cream that comes in a squeezable little pouch. You simply squeeze it out and apply to your lightly moist/wet face, and rub it in. Within a matter of seconds you can feel the self-heating action, which I think feels great. It gently warms and you can really the mask doing it's work and getting deep down in your pores and cleaning your face. After a few minutes - or really however long you want to wear the mask - simply rinse away and you will be left with a really nice, fresh, clean face. This product is easy to use and apply, and easy to find in nearly any large grocery store or drugstore. The warming action is fun and it really seems to do a great job at cleaning your face and pores. Ease of Application Very easy!

I like this facial mask because it is easy to use and effective. The package includes individual, one-time-use facial masks that can be applied directly to your face without the messy application of a cream style mask. The self-warming aspect of this mask helps open up the pores in the skin and helps to relieve oily skin and remove dirt. I do like to follow up with an acne combating facial cleanser after using this mask since the pores are more open and the cleanser can reach down further and be more effective than just use by itself. The Biore facial masks are a little on the pricey side for me, but pretty average overall in comparison to similar products. This is a good exfoliating facial mask and helps leave my skin softer with regular use. The product recommends using two times a week, to help save a few extra bucks I only use once a week and it still does the job right for me.

I liked this alright but it just wasn't what I was expecting. I'm usually the first to rave on Biore products but there are few things about this that I am not a fan of. First of all, this comes packaged in individual portions. There's actually too much product in the pack and it ends up being wasteful for me. Obviously I thought about sealing the package over to save for later but it still dried out too much to really use a second time. The second thing about this that I am not a fan of is that the drying feature doesn't truly harden so much as it just firms up some and changes color to let you know it is time to rinse it off. I was hoping this would harden and help pull some of the impurities out of my pores but unfortunately it just doesn't. I have trouble with blackheads on my nose and chin and this didn't really help pull any of that impurity out. It does leave skin feeling soft, smooth, moisturized, and even textured but it doesn't do anything for the acne or blackheads. Effectiveness It does a good job on the external layers but it doesn't do much for the internal part such as black heads and white heads. It cleans the skin but it doesn't pull out anything. It left my skin even textured and toned, smooth, and radiant, however I had just as many impurities in my pores as I did before using this. Ease of Application It's easy to apply, however, I don't like the packaging. I waste too much product. The pouches are supposed to be more convenient but I wish this came in a tube instead. Scent This stuff smells alright as far as masks go. It's not unpleasant at all.

I tried this product when it first came out. I was quite young and didn't have a single problem with acne, large pores, etc. I just basically tried it for the fun of it. It comes in little foil packets and you squeeze the mask cream out and apply to your face. This mask is a warming mask, so it doesn't dry or peel off. As I was applying this mask, I started to feel it warm up. It has tiny little beads in it, but they absorb when you rub it in. This mask feels amazing! It isn't too warm, but just warm enough to relax you and make you feel like your at the spa! It made my face softer and smoother when I took it off. More recently I had tried it again. This time I did have a problem with acne and large pores. After using this mask on a regular basis, I saw no improvement in either one, but I could care less because I just love how it feels! I would recommend this product to anyone that needs to just take a few moments to themselves for a very cheap price!

This is a great mask and I wish I could still find it in store. It is a clay looking mask that you spread on and leave on for just a minute. The key to this self heating mask is to apply it to a wet face, the water somehow activates it and heats it up. The first time I used this the heat was a surprise, I did not think it would get that warm, but oddly enough it felt great. After rinsing it off it left my face feeling very cool. My skin was definitely softer after using and my skin felt tighter. It really helped my breakouts clear up quicker too. Effectiveness Left my skin feeling soft and tight, helped my breakouts clear up as well. Ease of Application Make sure your face is wet first, then rub on and leave for one minute. It took a few minutes to rinse it off completely but overall very easy application. Scent The scent is not the best thing I have ever smelled, somewhat muddy smelling. It is not nasty or anything just not a perfume or floral scent like most skin care.

I remember when this product first came out, and I gladly tried it. I like it because of the deep cleaning action activated by the heat. I like the way it feels on my skin and I love how my skin feels after I have rinsed it off. It feels clean and tight. I keep the product in the shower so that I can use it more than once a week if needed. I enjoy feeling the mask heating up. It gives me a soothing, and relaxing feeling. I like the fact that this mask delivers a really deep pore clean, which I need, especially around my nose and chin area. I also like using the other Biore products that are available. I do not know what else to say about this product other than I would like to receive coupons for it on a regular basis because I not only purchase for myself, but also my daughter, whose skin tends to be a little more oily than mine. I would truly miss this product if it were to become unavailable for any reason, and my daughter would miss it even more.

I have used a lot of Biore products before and I needed a mask to add to my regimen to try and reduce the size of my pores and also just to promote my skin to be healthier and to feel better. I got this and I thought that it would be perfect and was pretty excited to put it on. It is really easy to use and apply and the mask starts to get hard and work right away. Almost instantly I could feel that it was firming up and also getting hot, this would help to open up my pores an clean them out really good, or so I thought. Unfortunately within about five minutes of having this mask on, it really started to get uncomfortable and it felt almost like it was burning my skin. I immediately washed it all off just to find that my skin became so red and inflamed and now was extremely blotchy and did not look good. My skin itched for a week after I used this and I never noticed any difference in anything, just that my skin now became raw and my pores actually were even bigger, it is not something I would ever try if you have sensitive skin.

It feels so amazing. The remember the first time I used it, it was winter and i was very cold. I put this stuff on and within seconds, my face was so warm! It was a weird sensation but in a good and fun way. It contained like beads inside that blend in when you press it... maybe for light exfoliation? It was a very thick mask but not as opaque as your typical mud mask. What does it aim to do? I'm not sure. Maybe to just produce a unique sensation because I have still never seen another mask (in-stores, at least) that sell a self-heating mask. But virtually I didn't see much of a difference. It is quite moisturizing I guess. But in terms of cleansing (as many masks do), this does not. Effectiveness Not so great because it doesn't really do anything. It moisturizes the skin but I don't see much difference in terms of oil and dirt. Ease of Application They come in little packets, perhaps to preserve the heating reaction.. so it doesn't come in one container. It is a hassle to get this thick mask out of a tiny packet, however. Scent I liked the scent. But honestly, you wouldn't even smell anything because you're so amazed at this warmth on your skin.
