Higher end treats

5

Bil-Jac Liver Treats for Dogs are a great treat for dogs because they have a great tasting formula that my dog will die for. They are a little more on the expensive side, but I offset this by being a part of their rewards club and you can get a coupon for the treats about once every month when they offer it. They are a well known brand that uses only the most quality ingredients and use more protein and solid substance rather than fillers and additives. This means you are feeding your dog only the best. I like the cute milk carton packaging that they come in, but it does not really serve a great purpose in keeping the treats fresh. This usually is not a problem in my household because I feed my dogs treats so often that they do not go stale. This could pose a problem if you do not keep them in a plastic bag though. My dog loves the flavor of the treat and has since the very first time he tried them. I also use Bil-Jac food so I trust the name brand and love to buy these for my dogs.

One of my dog's favorites

What can I say, my dog has a thing for liver snacks and this is her favorite in this category. She flips out for these things, maybe because we used them in training early on...It's one of the few snacks I let her eat without worrying too much about what's in it. It might be like McDonald's for dogs, but it is what it is and she might leave home if I don't give them to her. That's a recommendation.

"Puppy Crack" - FABULOUS!

5

I'm a breeder, a rescue fosterer, own a boarding kennel and train and compete in multiple venues with my own and client dogs. Luring for training is a great way to introduce new behaviours whilst convincing the dog it was their idea in the first place and the trick to a good lure is that it's as irresistible as possible. This would be the treat for that! We jokingly call them "Puppy Crack" around here as dogs will put out a lot of effort to earn one. Also very useful for meeting new dogs who might be unsure...a great way to make fast friends (if you're, say, a delivery worker...buy in buik!) Treats are appropriately sized for a TREAT (it's a treat, not a meal) and come in large enough bags that you're not constantly having to restock (and the bags have a wonderful "resealable" closure that, unlike most, actually SEALS repeatedly) And one of the best things about this product is that it's made with high quality ingredients rather than the junk in most crunchy "cookies" so you don't have to feel bad about giving it to the dog.

My Dog Loves Bil-Jac Liver Treats

4

These are the only soft treats that I give my dog (aside from pumpkin puree sometimes) and she loves them. Like most treats, my dog gets excited when she knows they are coming, but my favorite part about them is that I can break them in half and, if my dog has a small pill to take, I can put it in the middle and then give them to her and she doesn't know the difference. This is my favorite feature because my dog just will not take some pills (she is very smart) and will spit them out if I try to bury them under wet food or put them in pumpkin puree. My only issue with these pills is that, like most soft foods, they aren't the best for dogs, so I only give them to my dog rarely, which is why it is so great that they come in small cartons.

My dog loves Bil-Jac Liver Treats for Dogs

5

I use the Bil-Jac Liver Treats for dogs whenever I take my Chihuahua to dog training lessons because they are small, dry and easy to break up. My dog absolutely loves them. When she knows that she might be getting this treat her ears perk up and she is ready to learn. The treats are very cheap and easily available and for the purposes of dog training I thoroughly recommend them. My dog eats them in a single bite so this isn't the kind of treat you want to leave your dog when you are going out. I'm also not sure about how healthy they are so I'd offer them to your dog in moderation but for the purposes of dog training they are absolutely ideal because they are a good incentive for the dog to learn whatever it is you want to teach them, they eat it quickly and they can move onto the next lesson. The box is a pretty good size for the price and you can't really go wrong for what you are getting. I get through a packet with my Chihuahua every month or so.

The Best Reward!!!

5

Bil-Jac Liver treats for dogs are the best reward for any canine companion. Until a few weeks ago I had only tried the treats and never the food. But now I am a loyal customer to the full line of Bil-Jac products. Very much worth the premium pricing. The little  carton of treats which looks basically like a milk container is home to pellet-like treats which are very solid almost chewy and have a horrible stench of liver. Granted what I consider horrible my chihuahua and my hairless coated blue rat terrier consider a heavenly treat. Almost caviar for dogs!  I use the treats for trick training. often cutting them in half since it is particularly difficult for the small chihuahua to manage the size of the treat. The dogs are very responsive to the flavor and texture and appear to like it far more than bacon or ham. It also gives me the comfort that it is not as greasy as other treats which I have used in the past. In terms of value I super recommend these treats

Good training treat

4

These are good training treats for your beloved dog.  They are pretty cheap and soft enough to be eaten quickly.  My 1.5 year old pit bull just loves them.  They are a little big for training so we use them for the harder tricks.  They do really get her attention so it makes these easier.  My little pit bull sees these in my hand and just looks at me like she'll do anything for one!  For the easy tricks I cut them in half but they tend to crumb up so that's not ideal.  I have seen these in smaller sizes which is awesome.  I still have use for these bigger size treats, though. Overall, these are reasonably priced, my dog loves them and they are easy to give to my dog.  They don't crumb up on their own and my dog can eat them quickly which is important for a training treat.  These would be best for bigger dogs due to the size of the treat.  I can't imagine any dog not loving these things - soft liver treats. Mmmmm.

Bil Jac liver treats for dogs - my dogs are crazy for these

5

Bil Jac liver treat for dogs are my dogs favorite.  Seriously, if you're try to train a dog to do something these are so delicous they'll stand on their head for one of these little morsels.  I have a border collie lab mix female that grew up out in the sticks with us and she never got used to company.  Everyone is afraid of her because she sees anyone but us as an intruder.  Even my Mom and my Sister won't come over because they're afraid she's going to bite them.  I gave Grandma a box of these treats and before they were gone little Loretta was her best friend and she had to share the box with 2 other dogs!  Now when Grandma comes buy she wags her tail and can't wait to see her.  I only hope robbers don't figure out how much dogs like these snakes. LOL As much of a watch dog as Loretta is should someone come in with a box of Bil Jac Liver treats I'm sure she'll let them walk out with the big screen.

Dogs love this treat!

I think there is a secret ingrediant in Bil-Jac liver treats,  I am pretty sure it is doggy crack. LOL!  Our dogs love these treats.  Maybe it is because it is such a special treat when we have them on hand.  When I open the carton the dogs are right there ready to get their allotted number.  The treats are small which makes them a nice size for a training reward.  They also fit nicely in some of the dog toys we have which keep the dogs busy for long periods of time.  They are fairly soft and seem easy to chew especially for our oldest dog who has had several teeth pulled.  When I give these to the dogs I don't feel that I am giving them treats that are full of fillers and questionable ingredients.  I do wish they made a little bit larger size of the treats for bigger dogs, we have a 90+ lb dog and I always feel I need to give him more to make him feel he got anything.  Another thing I will point out we only use these as treats too much could be a bad thing for dogs.
