I bought the medium Biker's Friend for my recent trip from St. Louis to Chicago.  I can't say enough about it.  It gives exceptional support for your back, extra cargo area, and is so easy to take off your bike and carry into your lodging since it has a sturdy carrying handle.  Also, on our way home. we got caught in a couple of showers.  Everything in the Biker's Friend bag stayed dry (unlike my saddle bags).  I wish I had bought a larger model so my helmet could fit in it though.
