Even though this is touted as a pizza chopper, it is so much more than that! It can be used on vegetables, homemade pita bread, cutting parsley and cilantro, cutting dough and more. I like my pizza a little on the crisp side and some traditional wheel-styled pizza cutters can't crack the crust but this works perfectly on thick, standard or thin crust pizza. It also works on pizza boats made from a baguette or Italian bread. If you love making pizza but have trouble cutting it, this is something that can help you get evenly sliced pieces. The size is what makes this so versatile; its fourteen inches long so the arc of it allows you to rock it back and forth without having to exert a lot of pressure. For those with hand ailments or arthritis this is a great alternative for a traditional pizza cutter. You do need to use two hands when cutting things with this; it isn't slid back and forth like a knife but rather it is rocked over whatever you are cutting. That eliminates the chance of bread or pizza getting mangled or having to make two or three passes over something to cut it. This is made completely of stainless steel so there's no plastic or rubber parts to it; it is dishwasher safe but I hand wash and air dry this. The top section of the chopper is hollow so if you are going to hand wash this make sure that you have it tilted when it is drying so there isn't any water inside that section. If you don't like the open-end design of this there are small plastic plugs that you can buy and press into the sides to block them. I use this at least three or four times a week when I am chopping up vegetables or cutting flatbread and it still looks like it is in mint condition. Ease of Cleaning It is dishwasher safe. Durability Almost indestructible.

I received this pizza chopper as a wedding gift after registering for it. I didn't know it existed until we started researching. As an avid homemade pizza fan I used to always get frustrated when I pulled a fresh pizza that looked and smelled great out of the oven only to mess it up when trying to slice it up. I hate that I had to try and hold the pizza pan with a glove while it was hot just to have the pizza slicer smoosh toppings everywhere or worse, not fully cut through the dough, to end up with nonsliced pieces. This pizza chopper fixes all of those issues! It's easy to use and just glides along the pizza. I haven't had any issues with it fully slicing through the dough or disrupting my toppings. It's also very easy to clean. Great purchase!!

Although this Bailetti Pizza Chopper may look a bit intimidating it's actually very easy to use. When I first saw this Pizza Chopper; I was worried it would be dangerous and I suppose it would be if you used it on your finger. But there isn't anything that works better! My husband and I received this as a wedding present and could not have been happier. My husband is an avid pizza maker and loves this chopper. He says he feels like he's running his own pizza parlor with it. It cuts a perfect line nice and smooth with very little pressure needed to cut. This cutter also is very easy to clean. Just a little running water and soap and voila it's as easy as that. Definitely snag this if you make pizza as frequently as we do.

This Bialetti Pizza Chopper is one of the most versatile and used items in my kitchen.   It is made very well and is sturdy enough to cut a pizza with ease.  I use it more to cut and chop onions, celery or any other thing.  It cuts and chops nuts with ease too.  Clean up is so easy and just be sure that you place this in your kitchen took drawer sharp side down.   I  have purchased more than one of these for a nice little gift too.  The quality of this Bialetti Pizza Chopper is of a very high quality and is very durable.  I have had mine for more than 5 years and it still looks brand new and works great!  I do sharpen it periodically with a knife sharpener to keep the blade sharp.   When you cut a pizza you use a rolling technique to make the pizza cut with hardly any trouble.   I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has one of those old fashioned roller pizza cutters, you will throw that one away as soon as you get this one home!  Great item!

We have the Bialetti Pizza cutter. We started making home made pizza every week for the last two years. We had a tradition pizza slicer but it never went all the way through the pizza and you had to wait for the pizza to cool before you could cut it. The Bialetti Pizza cutter ensures that you slices are even and cuts all the way through. We have been very happy with it. It is large and cumbersome to store. We store it flat in our drawer. I would definately recommend it to a family that makes pizza often. It can be put into the dishwasher to be cleaned. I would not let children use this because it is a large knife. I would also store it high up so that kids cannot get to it. It is for a person who wants to look like a professional pizza maker in their own kitchen. I would also make s ure that you have a piizza stone too. I am very happy that we purchased this and actually are giving one to my parents as a gift!

this pizza chopper is one of the best inventions ever. it is good for cutting pizza and it is nice and sharp so i always get a nice smooth cut. it is easy for me to grip, but i do wish that it had more grip mechanism on the handle. i like the large blade of the chopper because it lets me cover more area on the pizza at one time.i prefer this chopper to the normal pizza wheels because i feel that it gives me a better cut and that it is much easier to use. the blade on this chopper can get to be very sharp after i sharpen it so i do not let my kids use it. this chopper is a lot easier to clean than a normal pizza wheel. i only need to use soap and water and a dish rag and it is good as new. the brand of this chopper is great and i will buy products from this brand anytime because i am so pleased with the quality of this pizza chopper. i do not know what i would do if i had not discovered this wonderful tool.

I first was introduced to this handy gadget on a bike marathon of all things. I simply love the bialetti pizza cutter! It does not "drag" the pizza toppings across the top of the pizza like a rotary cutter does.  The toppings stay on the part of the pizza they were meant to.  Clean up could not be easier with the bialetti pizza cutter.
