These pans are wonderful. I finally broke down and treated myself to a decent set of cookware. With all the recent reports about possible health concerns of aluminum, and non-stick surfaces, I wanted high quality stainless steel. They are beautiful to look at and a dream to cook with. The weight of the pans reflects their quality. The heat disperses evenly across all pans. To clean, I usually heat up some water on bottom and add a little dish soap and they easily come clean. Removing hard water residue is easily accomplished by boiling some white vinegar for a few minutes. I threw out the "care" instructions so revert back to what my mother used to do with her stainless steel pans, prior to the age of non-stick cookware. They clean up nicely, and after much use, still look new. I used to have to replace pans every few years due to failing surfaces and warping. I am completely confident that these pans will last indefinitely. They could very well be the last set I ever have to buy. Doesn't Stick They are stainless, not "non-stick", so some adhesion may occur when frying.

Oh where to begin on how much I love my Earth Chef pan...! We are the proud owners of the 12" covered saute pan and found it accidentally when were were doing a little bit of research because we wanted to invest in a good wok. I wasn't convinced completely on all its advertised pros until we bought it and I began using it regularily and then even more regularily! What I love about it? It's high-endurance, non-stick surface. This was something I was especially sceptical about...I hate teflon because it never seems to survive long even with precautions in its care. And I dislike stainless steel because, especially for sauteing and frying, it gets very marked up and requires extra, regular cleaning. I've never been able to find a happy medium until this amazing invention was introduced to me. It is so easy to clean and shows absolutely no wear on its surface even after regular use. What else I love about it? The size and the shape...it's huge which makes it so variable in its functions! I love that the sides are not 'sloped' but rather at 90 degrees like a pot...it seems to help keep the food in the pan and off my stove saving on cleaning later. I would defiantly consider eventually investing more of Earth Chef's line of cookware - it's proven its quality and functionability all in one!

I love the convenience and healthy cooking of non-stick cookware because less oil is needed to do the cooking. Traditional teflon cooking surfaces, however, are not very durable; they scratch easily and wear off after a while. Teflon is not healthy if it ends up in your food and is consumed! Because of this, I literally gave up on non-stick until I found the EarthChef cookware by BergHOFF. As the name suggests, the EarthChef cookware has a non-stick ceramic coating that is all natural and earth friendly (even the packaging is made from recycled paper). This ceramic coating contains no toxic or hazardous materials and is six times stronger than traditional non-stick coatings. This means that it is more durable and scratch resistant. The instructions say that it is metal utensil safe, however, I still use silicone utensils to keep the cooking surface as pristine as possible. The cookware is made from cast stainless steel and is oven safe to 1000 degrees F.

I bought a small Berghoff EarthChef fry pan online recently because my all clad was looking a little dingy so i thought I would try it.  It is wonderful!  Nothing sticks to it and it is so easy to clean.  It seems so healthy because you do not need to use a lot of oil or butter to fry foods.  Plan on buying more pans.  Great for non-stick cooking.
