These pans are wonderful. I finally broke down and treated myself to a decent set of cookware. With all the recent reports about possible health concerns of aluminum, and non-stick surfaces, I wanted high quality stainless steel. They are beautiful to look at and a dream to cook with. The weight of the pans reflects their quality. The heat disperses evenly across all pans. To clean, I usually heat up some water on bottom and add a little dish soap and they easily come clean. Removing hard water residue is easily accomplished by boiling some white vinegar for a few minutes. I threw out the "care" instructions so revert back to what my mother used to do with her stainless steel pans, prior to the age of non-stick cookware. They clean up nicely, and after much use, still look new. I used to have to replace pans every few years due to failing surfaces and warping. I am completely confident that these pans will last indefinitely. They could very well be the last set I ever have to buy. Doesn't Stick They are stainless, not "non-stick", so some adhesion may occur when frying.
