Not so sure how I feel about it

3

I received this in a Benefit gift set for Christmas last year, I always wanted to try a cream to powder foundation, and luckily it was in my shade. First off the packaging is so cute, Benefit always has the cutest packaging. At first I was hesitant to try it on my whole face, I never really used foundation before and I didn't wanna put it on wrong or put too much so I started off with little blemishes on my face and the foundation covered them up pretty good, I was impressed because I had read bad reviews prior to trying this. It blends in with my skin, it didnt even look like I had anything on, it stayed on most of the day without a primer. After a while I tried using it on more of my face, like the way you would with a foundation and I felt like it didnt take to certain parts of my skin the right way, my tzone and forehead started to get a cracking effect to it, so I guess that was the end of that. I still use it on smaller spots, i guess it depends on your skin type.

Great if you don't like too much coverage/make-up

I love, love, love this "foundation". My skin is pretty clear in general and I have a ton of freckles so this product works great for me. I hate wearing foundation and that feeling like I put on some thick cream on my face that doesn't go away. Especially since foundation has a tendency to make my freckles look ashy since it's cover them up somewhat. This product works because it's just enough coverage where it'll blend into my skin and my freckles will show up normally. On days where I've got a zit I use some concealer or layer on the foundation faker in the areas where I need more coverage. You might be asking, if you've already got clear skin why use this? Honestly, for photos and to even out the tone. The reason our blemishes show up in photos without make-up on is because our skin is layers of translucent cells so light reflects off the layers at varying levels. If you have make-up on then it'll reflect off the make-up creating a more even tone in photos.

Go from shear to lots of coverage!

The Benefit Some Kind-A Gorgeous is definitely my go-to foundation when I'm on the go and do not have time to apply any foundation. It works great in many ways, and I love the coverage that it has. It comes with an applicator sponge to make it easier to apply, but I find it just as easy to apply it with my own fingers so I can control how much foundation to put on. Sometimes I also look for more foundation coverage on my face, and have applied a second or a third layer and noticed that the Some Kind-A Gorgeous can be layered for heavier coverage. The color works great for my skin, and no one can even tell I have anything on. I also love the smooth powder finish that it has, which makes my face very soft!

this is a great concealer / foundation for people on the go, but it does tend to flake and it is a little powdery. this makeup can be used with any skin tone and it looks great. also comes with a compact mirror and a cool looking case like a record. i have to give it a B+ or an A- but overall its great. Maybe a little overpriced.

Nice buildable coverage

I really like to wear this product on lazy weekend morning or for a quick grocery shopping. I have a origninal shade, which is now called as 'medium' and it is too dark on my East Asian skin. But you can't pile on this creamy formula, so I just bare it. It has almost no coverage at all, but it makes my skin look glowy while feeling matte and powedery at the same time. So I usually wear this over my concealer (if I wear concealer over this, the gap in colors become very obvious) and omit the powder. However, I don't wear this as a substitute of my regular foundation, because it doesn't have any coverage and it makes my T-zone shine after few hours. I really appreciate the radiance and healthy looking skin it gives me, but blotting my face every hour is not my thing. I have combination skin, and it's amazing how this oil-free formula can create so much oil on my face. Also, if I have flakes it emphasizes every bit of it so make sure you exfoliate before using this. And it wears out very fast.If you have naturally healthy skin with nothing much to cover up, this is really good product, I only wish it has wider color range.

BeneFit Some Kind-A Gorgeous is lightweight and sheer

I really love Benefit Some Kind-A Gorgeous foundation faker.  This round compact contains a very lightweight cream cake.  It glides on the skin easily and does not look heavy or cakey.  It is sheer but does even out skintone.  It gives you a very natural look, like you aren't wearing any makeup.  While it isn't matte or dark enough to hide the couple of brown age spots below my eye, it does help to conceal red patches on my skin. Since my skin is very dry, I try to avoid face powder.  This cream is a blessing!  Powders tend to make skin look drier and they emphasize lines and wrinkles.  The Benefit Some Kind-A Gorgeous does not.  The container claims that the product is "My Perfect Match" and "Feels So Good."  I find both to be true on my skin.  The color is a great match and it seems to blend right in with my natural skin tone.  It also does feel good as it easily smooths over my skin. I'm a really big fan of Benefit cosmetics and I especially love this product!  It is the second one I have purchased and when I finish it I will definitely buy another.  I hope they never discontinue it!

very light and silky

I cannot say enough good things about the entire benefit line of products.  I am 21 with even skin and don't like to look like I'm wearing a lot of make up.  This foundation is light enough to even out my skin tone without looking cakey or leaving a visible line.  This is almost like wearing a tinted moisturizer.  The formula is very silky and turns to a powder when it dries.  It's very light on your skin and won't clog pores.  Comes in a light and dark formula.

Here's good natural coverage

This happens to be one of the many products by Benefit that I really like.  I have to say though, if you have problem skin or prefer medium to heavy coverage...you probably won't like this product too much. When I began using this product it was only sold on one shade but is now sold in two for those who have darker skin.  You will be reluctant in thinking the one shade covers mostly all skin tones but it somehow does!  It is very creamy and evens things out just nicely but won't cover up blemishes too well.  It is oil-free which is a plus for me.  I don't think it is pore clogging at all but a girlfriend of mine does.  I should also say that I don't feel it provides long lasting coverage.  You might have to reapply at some point.  For those of you who are looking for lightweight creamy coverage give it a whirl, let me know what you think when you do.

Perfect blend

My skin tends to be fair and not at all in the pink or olive families, so matching a foundation is nearly impossible--except with Benefit's Some Kind of Gorgeous. My only regret? Not finding this product in time for my wedding--its finish is so natural and its coverage is so long-lasting--I adore it.
