Overall rating is that this is a great buy. Durability I got this as a Christmas present to myself. I had been wanting a waffle maker and at the price this one was worth a try. It is easy to use, even my ten year old can do it. The timer makes the waffle turn out great every time. The only issue i have with it is, I would like it to come apart from the stand to make cleaning a little easier. But, I am not complaining on anything else. I really like this and I even bought a few more items of the Bella brand, a toaster and a single cup coffee maker. These items and the waffle maker may seem "cheap at the prices" but they are awesome products. The waffle maker gets used a few times a month in my house and is holding up very well. No more waffle house, saving me time and money when we want waffles. The color choices are great also. Several to choose from and if you want to change colors you can always spend another twenty bucks and change it :) Gotta love that.

I have always been a fan of waffles...especially Belgian waffles! Not exactly sure why, but I always felt a bit intimidated by waffle makers. I recently came across a great buy on a Bella Cucina Rotating Belgian Waffle Maker, and decided to give this a try. Oh my goodness...I am SO glad that I did!! I never imagined making delicious Belgian waffles in my own kitchen could be so easy!! Features on this 1000 watt waffle maker include a rotating function for even cooking, non-stick cooking plates, auto-locking mechanism that prevents spillage while you pour the batter into the waffle maker, browning control knob that allows you to select the degree of browning, non-slip feet, AND a ready light that tells you exactly when the waffle has finished cooking! The very first waffle I made with this looked perfect, but per the directions, I threw this one out to the birds! I can tell you that the second one -- and all since this one, have been cooked to perfection! The instructions that come with this waffle maker do include some recipes, but I have not tried any of them yet. I simply used the recipe on my box of baking mix (similar to Bisquick) and cannot imagine a more delicious waffle!! I do plan to try the recipe for chocolate caramel waffles soon :-) The ONLY thing I can see that I might change is that the non-stick cooking plates are not made to remove for ease in cleaning. The manual suggests you will not need to do this, as cleaning is as simple as wiping these off with a soft cloth; and...I suspect this will be correct! Performance Can't imagine a waffle maker that is easier to use, or one that makes a better-tasting Belgian waffle! Settings/Features Removable cooking trays might come in handy down the road... Ease of Cleaning So far, no cleaning has been necessary, but might want removable cooking trays after years of use? Ease of Use Could not be easier to use! Durability Looks and feels like a high-quality appliance
