Makes motherhood so much easier!

I have used this carrier for 2 children and it is by far my favorite carrier! I love baby wearing, and this carrier is so easy to use. It is versatile and comes in great colors. I love that I can wear baby on front or back, and also can switch between front and back carry so easily (and not have to take baby out!). It works for newborn up, and I still use it with my 4 year old occasionally (he is about 35 pounds). It is nice to have a carrier that can be used for many years. I can also say that the customer service from Beco has been great. I broke a buckle (slammed in a car door -- whoops!) and they quickly sent me a replacement buckle free of charge. And then followed up to make sure the buckle worked and check to see if I needed anything else. Service like that is hard to find! If you only get one carrier, get this one! Baby's Comfort Judging by the fact that my kids regularly fall asleep, I'd say they are pretty comfortable in this carrier. Durability I have had mine for years and it still has lots of life left in it!

Easy to use, comfortable carrier

5

We have used this carrier since our now 8-month-old was a newborn and continue to use it almost daily. It's comfortable for the wearer even on long walks. It appears to be comfortable for the baby as well, since mine goes to sleep in it all the time or alternately, chews the straps as much as possible. The inner sling makes it easy to transfer baby between people without removing the carrier. The sling also made it easier for me to brave back carries. I felt less nervous with the added protection than when using other carriers. The only downside is the sling makes things a little warmer, which isn't so great in the summer. We found this carrier to be the most affordable option at the time thanks to a deal on Beco's website. Our baby is slim and of average length, and at 18 lbs the carrier is still comfortable. She's appearing to outgrow it now though, so we're moving on to bigger carriers.

Wonderful, but upgrade to newer model if planning to breastfeed.

The carrier is amazing. This company is amazing. Customer service is wonderful, products are easy to use. This was my second soft structured carrier. My first was a Bjorn. I won't get started on how bad those are for baby but it let me to this wonderful carrier. The Butterfly two is great and secure and easy to use. There is a panel that is between you and baby so for me, it made breastfeeding impossible while in the carrier. I upgraded to their Gemini and don't have that problem. I found that this model made me feel the most secure when getting it on with the baby. The model I have now is easy, but takes a few tries to gain confidence. As with any baby carrier, it takes a while to get confident but pays off so much in the long run when you need your hands free. Overall, I love this company and their products and would recommend any model carrier that they have to all my friends! Baby's Comfort Used to comforting a reflux baby! Parents' Comfort Padded straps and great waistband support.

Comfy, Easy, Supportive

While I loved my stretchy wraps when my daughter was smaller, for bigger babies and toddlers you gotta get a structured carrier...and the Beco is a fabulous choice. It's well made, durable, comes in a lot of great colors, has a pretty good resell value when your kid outgrows it, and perhaps best of all, it's easy to share with co-parents! My husband and I both used the same Beco, and it wasn't a big hassle to readjust the size (he's much taller than I am). My daughter loved being worn in the Beco. She spent many, many hours snuggled against my chest and back. Safety The Beco is designed well for baby's safety, and is very well made. The buckles, stitching, fabric, etc. all seem very strong and trustworthy. We never had any problems or concerns. Baby's Comfort It must be comfortable, because my daughter spent a loooooooooooot of time sleeping in the Beco! Parents' Comfort The straps are wide and padded, the hip strap can be tightened for the most comfortable level of support, and that adds up to a pretty comfy carrier. We hardly ever used a stroller because the Beco was more convenient, and comfortable enough to use for hours at a time. Ease of Use As mentioned above, my husband and I had an easy time switching back and forth. Adjusting the straps to fit us was quick and easy. And getting the Beco on and off is super simple. It was a life-saver during air travel! Some security checkpoints would allow us to wear our baby through, but even when they didn't, it was easy to unbuckle the Beco, go through the metal detector, and quickly get it back on without holding up the line. And our baby slept in it during plane rides (we didn't purchase an extra seat for her). That meant we didn't have to carry a stroller OR a car seat through the airport! The back carry could be a little more complicated, but I was able to manage it, even when I was alone and didn't have another adult to help. I think I only managed to nurse with the Beco once or twice. I found the baby is held too high to comfortably nurse (but this makes it more comfortable to wear for long periods). Other than that, everything about the Beco is easy! Design There are a lot of pretty fabric choices. Not all are to my taste, but there's usually something for everyone. Durability We used our Beco a lot, and it still looked fantastic by the time our daughter out-grew it. We then sold it to another family.

Beco Butterfly is excellent

5

The Beco Butterfly II is an excellent soft structured, buckle carrier. One feature of the Butterfly that makes it different from other carriers out there is the inner harness system/panel. The panel alwasy gave me piece of mind that my son wouldn't fall out whil eputting it on! The harness makes it feel like the baby is more secure and it feels more comfortable for both baby and the adult. The carrier can be worn on your front or your back, depending on the age/size of the baby. It comes with an infant insert, a sleeping hood (which stores in the waist belt part) and a DVD to show how to use it- even though it's very easy. I got this when my son was a few months old and it saved me many backaches since he was a high needs baby who needed to be held all the time. It's still nice at 15 months for those super cranky "hold me" kind of days when I still need to get stuff done. He's 25 lbs now and I'm pretty maxed out with  my 115lb petite frame- but it is supposed to hold up to 45lbs. I suppose my husband could carry him if need be!

Love my Beco Baby Carrier

5

I absolutely love my Beco Baby Carrier!  It is so comfortable to wear and so easy to put on.  The shoulder straps are super padded as is the waist strap.  I love the the infant insert is included and that the sleep hood is detachable and easily stored in the waist strap.  I love the fact that I will be able to use this for a long time as the weight limit is 7-45 pounds!  My son really seems to like it as well.  I also like that it has the ability to keep the baby in the carrier when you take it off so that you can have some one else put him on with out taking him out.  It is also pretty easy to put your baby on your back.  It would be a good idea to have someone around the first couple of times you try it but it gets easier the older the child gets.  I also really like the different color options that they have, they are all so nice looking.  I will be recommending this to all my friends who have children!

The Beco is the only baby carrier you need to buy.

I have a bit of a baby carrier fetish, and own over 15 baby carriers at home -- slings, buckle carriers, ring slings, mai tais, you name it.  A lot of my mommy friends talked about their Beco carriers, so I decided for my second child that I was going to bite the bullet and buy it.  I did a lot of research before I bought it, and was impressed with other's reviews of it, the fabric selection and its versatility. The day the carrier came, I couldn't wait to get it out of the box.  I was surprised at how small it folded up -- it was much smaller than I had anticipated.  The fabric was quality, and it felt extremely sturdy.  I tested it out immediately using the infant insert with my then 9 week old son.  It was perfect.  I then tested it out with my 29 lb, 2.5 yr old doing a back carry -- it was super comfortable! Since then, I have used the carrier to travel solo by airplane with my then 3 month old son -- it made travelling a breeze.  We used it to nap our 2.5 year old while on a family vacation -- he slept in the back carry while we did a brewery tour :).  Now, when we go on trips, we sometimes don't even pack the stroller -- we bring the Beco along instead.  I have comfortably worn my 14 lb 5 month old in it for 4+ hrs.  The carrier is simply remarkeable. Don't waste your money buying lots of carriers like I did.  Buy the Beco. You won't regret it. Safety I feel very safe wearing this carrier and don't worry about my child falling out. I've used it since my youngest was a newborn and have used it with my oldest who is 4 years old. Baby's Comfort My four year old fell asleep within minutes in the back carry and my 21 month old continues to fall asleep in it in front and back carry...so I'd have to say they find it pretty comfortable. Parents' Comfort Ond of the few carriers I can wear without my back hurting me after 10 mins Ease of Use Easy to out on or take off. No confusing latches or ties. Design Love my pattern and it is well designed! The only thing I'd prefer is a small pocket for storinga phone or money or a nuk. Durability It has held up for almost two years and two kids being worn at least twice a week.

Beco Butterfly is the BEST choice!

5

I absolutely LOVE the Beco Butterfly carrier! I have tried 4 brands of carriers, a moby style wrap carrier and 2 slings and the Beco is by far the best. Although more expenisve than most, it is worth every penny! It is supposed to be the best ergonomically for their spine and it must be because they are so comfortable in this carrier. It is also the most comfortable for me. I have some back and neck trouble and have for years and this is the only carrier that doesn't hurt me. I wear my baby everywhere in this- grocery store, mall, on walks and hikes, picnics, around the house. It is very easy to take off and on. It fits small infants and toddlers. There are no cons in my opinion. I would buy again and I highly recommend it!

This is the absolute best baby carrier there is!

5

The Beco is the best baby carrier that I have tried.  And I have tried at least 10 kinds of carriers.  I have had 2 back surgeries so I have to be very careful of my back and I can wear my baby (20 lbs right now) for up to 3 hours with no back pain at all.  The reason for this is that this carrier distributes the baby's weight over the hips, shoulders, and back so that no one body part does all the work.  I also like that this carrier is pretty, not just plain black or navy like so many.  It comes in a variety of colors and patterns.  Another advantage is that you can use this carrier from newborn to 45 lbs so you don't have to buy another carrier when your baby reaches 25 lbs like so many of the carriers out there.  It does take a few days to figure out how to adjust the straps to get the best fit, but once you've done that it is very easy and quick to use.
