These boots are amply named---very warm, even when the temperature falls below freezing and wet/snowy condit ions are present. Thick, solid, durable--kept my feet warm and dry even when worn for over 4 hours after an unexpected storm that rapidly changed from rain to snow. The material is thick, yet it is lightweight enough that I can wear them for a full day without them becoming "too heavy" and tiring my legs. The leather is quality enough so that they still look stylish with jeans or every day clothing--something I have always had difficulty finding in boots before. Overall---great boots--would recommend them to anyone looking for quality boots at a reasonable price.

I recently bought these boots in the color black for myself also a gift. I was very excited to wear these in the cold weather here in Michigan. First thing that I noticed after wearing them for the first time is that the inside lining does not rub off onto my socks or pants, which is wonderful. I would definitely recommend that you buy these in your exact size you normally wear. I usually wear a size 8 and that is the size that I ordered and they fit perfectly. Only order a little up if you have a half size, since they do not sell half sizes. After breaking them in, they really mold to fit your feet. At first, they seem a little tight, but just give them some time to get used to your feet. Also, waterproofing helps to keep them feeling dry while going out in the snow. So far for me, the stiching has been holding up very well. I would recommend these boots to anyone without a doubt.

I have to say that I own a pair of the Bearpaw Women's Fashion Boot Abigail Black and I truly do love them. I had bought the slippers and loved them so decided to give the boots a try and I am so glad that I did. These have to be the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. First of all they have a wool insole and the upper part of the boot has a soft wool blend fur that is so comfortable and that helped keep my feet very warm and toasty. I love that the outside is made of suede because I know that it is durable and they will last a long time. I have had them for a while now but have really been wearing them the last two weeks because they are so warm. They are very comfortable to walk in and I do a lot of walking and they hardly have any wear and tear at all. They can be pretty expensive but are reasonable compared to others I have seen just like these. I like that I can tuck my jeans in and they have a good grip to keep them tucked in. I can dress up these boots or dress down and they are awesome either way. I would certainly recommend that all of my friends and family try some style of these Bearpaw Boots.

I have had these boots now for about six months and have just started using them in the past three because it has just gotten cold enough to wear them. They are gorgeous once you receive them. I had purchased them on sale in April and kept them in the closet for all this time just waiting to put them on. The construction is great and the fit is wonderful. Order them true to size as they fit as expected. The fabric on the outside does not seem to hold on to as much lint and dust as other brands of boots that I have seen in the past. Some of the others that I own appear to need a washing but these look just out of the box every time. The only thing I would change is the tread on the bottom is a little less aggressive than I would like, especially as I am prone to falling down! I would love to have these boots in brown and probably will buy them in spring when they go on sale as these boots are pretty expensive.

I have perpetually cold feet. Even when it's 60-70 degrees out my feet are still cold, especially in our home. I actually wear these occasionally when that happens. I came across these boots after purchasing some slippers from Bearpaw. They're very similar to a pair of more expensive boots like the Bearpaws. The reason I gave it an 8 is because I could only find whole sizes. I had to return the boots back once. Once I bought a size up, they were still a bit too tight with socks, so I bought a higher size. This particular style of Bearpaw does run small and they're a bit narrow. I suggest if you can going somewhere you can try them on rather than order online. The interlining isn't as comfortable as the higher priced boots, but with socks you really can't tell a difference. Wear longer socks because the lining will rub your legs a bit. This caused a slight irritation on my skin. I don't advise getting these boots for casual wear if you're going to be doing a lot of outdoor walking on unpaved surfaces. The bottoms are not strong and won't hold up to the activities. Also avoid using them if you live where when it's cold, it's always wet. They will leak.

I bought my Bearpaw Women's Boots because they were much more affordable than the name brand, yet they look identical! I give them a two-thumbs up on, comfort, style, and durability. My friend had spent a ton of money for the originals and I fell in love with them the first time I saw her wear them! It was when she told me the price, that my smile turned to a frown. I knew I couldn't afford them anytime soon. It was at a well known department store that I ran into the exact boots my friend had, but at a lower cost and with a different brand name. I jumped on it! For near half the price, I was wearing the twin to her boots! The Bearpaw boots are so comfortable, I'm considering buying myself another pair. They come in many gorgeous styles and colors, its not an easy decision to pick which I want next. I am on my feet a lot, and the Bearpaw boots have yet to make me uncomfortable. Everyone should try this brand of boots. They are the greatest!
