This was given to me as a gift but the scent was a major turn off for me. It smelled okay in the tube but once I got it out and started applying it, it smelled very heavy and it reminded me of the scents that older women wear when they can no longer smell as good as they used to. The scent was too strong and irritated my nose and it even agitated my skin a bit. The lotion is very creamy and thick like and it was promising because it applied nicely on my skin. It absorbed pretty good but once it was on me and absorbing, it was just way too strong. I tried to shower and get it off but I could still smell the scent left behind from this product. I just don't care for the sensual amber smell. If you can get past the scent, it did seem to leave my skin soft feeling but I just couldn't go the smell. Scent The scent is very strong. It smells kind of like vanilla but not in a good way. It's a heavy manufactured scent and is not pleasing to me. I'm into more fruity and floral scents. I feel like this scent is very old and I like younger smells. Absorption It actually did absorb pretty good to my dismay when I tried to scrub the smell off of me. Effectiveness It made my skin feel very soft and smooth but the smell was just too overwhelming once I got it on.

I love this Bath and Body Works Sensual Amber triple moisture body cream, its amazing. Its sort of has a sweet and spice smell to it. This cream is really thick and creamy and it lasts all day on my skin making it fell nourished. I love how moisturizing this cream is, it has triple moisture complex with different ingredients in it. I love how it deeply conditions my skin making it smell really good. It doesn't leave me feeling greasy and it hydrates my skin all day without drying it out. This cream has lasted me a long time because I only use a little bit and it goes a long way all over. I've noticed I haven't been dry anywhere and the texture of my skin is a lot smoother especially my legs. I apply this cream all over my body right when I'm don't taking a shower and it absorbs quickly leaving my skin soft. I would definitely purchase this cream again when they have it out again they only have it certain times because its a signature collection scent. Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Sensual Amber Triple Moisture Body Cream is absolutely perfect for the winter months. It moisturizes wonderfully, and it smells absolutely amazing. Scent This lotion is supposed to have three notes of smell. The top notes are floral and fruity, and so are the mid notes. All I smelled was the base notes though. The dark amber, creamy sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli, praline, and musk. The smell is really deep, and rich. It matches the feel of autumn and winter perfectly. It goes on a bit strong, but that smell dulls down in to a nice faint light scent. Absorption This stuff absorbs like a dream. The lotion itself is pretty thick and it is perfect for dry spots like elbows. It only takes a few rubs for it to work its way in to the skin. Effectiveness This stuff is amazing for dry skin, and it is the best thing to get during the winter. It makes your skin feel silky smooth without leaving any type of undesirable residue.

The odor of the product is the main deterrent. I refer to this lotion (received as a gift) as my "old lady hand cream" because it smells of moth balls and too much perfume. The lotion is hydrating, but I feel an urge to wash off the smell shortly after applying, ultimately leaving my hands unprotected and dry.

I can't tell you what I was thinking when I bought this lotion, my best guess is that I accidentally grabbed it thinking it was another scent I really liked or it somehow smelled different in the store, because when I got it home I didn't like it much. Scent This smells like a lotion my grandmother would wear. It's too floral and heavy for me and just makes me feel kind of like an old lady when I wear it. The scent is very strong and lasts along time which would be great if I liked it better, but I don't so it isn't. Absorption It took a really long time to really absorb into my skin. I felt like I'd been standing in my bathroom at least ten minutes before I could get dressed and it left me feeling kind of oily and gross. Effectiveness The good news about this is it does moisturize pretty well. The name of it is a bit misleading because I don't think it was anywhere near triple the moisturizing power, but it does do a slightly better job than the regular Bath & Body Works lotions.

Bath and Body Works is one of the most popular beauty brands out there but I've found that I only like a few of their products. The Sensual Amber Body Cream is not a product that I will be adding to my bathroom cabinet. I received a tube of the lotion as a gift, so I decided to use it. As soon as I squirted it onto my hands, I was overpowered by the strong, and unfeminine scent. The scent was musky, but it appeared that the developers who came up with the scent tried to mask that musky scent with sweeter aromas. The combination just didn't work at all. Second, the product is advertised as a cream, but I found it to be too thin to be a cream. I was expecting a thicker product, but the product was more consistent with a cheap 99 cent drugstore lotion. While the product did absorb into my skin well, it did not moisturize my skin the way that I expect it to. Instead, my skin felt oily and was drier than before I applied it within a few minutes. Although this product was a gift, I don't think it's worth whatever was spent on it.

This is a fragrance for mature women, I'm NOT fond of the fruity smelling body creams or butters from B&BW. My husband LOVES when I wear this body cream or body butter. But I wouldn't recommend using the cream and body butter at the same time because may be overwhelming...just my opinion though.

Bath and body works hit is off just right in a frangence like this... Senual Amber is a die for smell. I received it as a gift for christmas and in always u are like out you want me to smell better and throw it to the side. Well as i opened the bottle the smell as out of this world.  I was a buyer of anything bath and body work but no i am ALMOST only the smell of the amber but i still buy the new stuff they make just to see if i can get a new smell
