I love this primer. I was given an entire set of Bare Minerals makeup for my 16th birthday, but I found out I was very allergic and ended up giving it to my mother (who refuses to buy any other makeup to this day, seven years later.) She let me try the primer when she got it as a free gift. I have combination skin and it works wonders. The formula is so smooth and light. I have used primers that make my face feel like it's under a mask all day, but I can barely feel it once it dries. There is a tingle after you put it on until it dries and it is refreshing, like after you've just washed your face. I love the bottle, it has a really convenient pump that you can twist tolock. I love knowing that even after being in a purse all day, I'm not going to have to worry about opening my makeup bag to find primer spilled on everything. It is pricey for such a small bottle, but I don't apply makeup everyday so it lasts a few months. I would recommend it to someone with combination skin or skin that isn't very sensitive. My mom has sensitive skin and she said it aggravated her skin. I plan to buy more of this product, I am extremely impressed.

I've never been able to find a primer that I liked, but I love the idea of primer. I thought that coming from a company like Bare Minerals that this would be a quality product that I would love. I was disappointed. The product feels oily (VERY oily) and you have to put on quite a bit to feel like your skin is really covered. After it dries it has a nice silky feeling, but I didn't notice any difference in the staying power of the makeup that I put on after or in even coverage. But my least favorite part was the breakouts that came with it! My skin felt more oily that day and within a few days I notice the damage it had done to my skin. So if you're looking for something that makes your skin feel silky, go with it. But for any of the other claims of primers (staying power of makeup, even coverage, etc.), I would definitely look for a different product. But, to Bare Minerals' credit - I've never found a primer that I like!

Even though I consider myself a bargain shopper, this is one product I will NEVER give up again.  I have combination skin and the Florida humidity isn't my friend for most of the year.  This product (combined with the Matte BE foundation) will easily last 8 hours throughout my work day with minimal to no touch up.  No feeling like my makeup is sliding off of my face either! I had tried this product when it first came out and then moved away because of the cost of this product.  Don't make the same mistake I did!! I use one pump of this product and that is plenty to cover my T-Zone and a little more of my face (the places that get the oiliest during the day).  I literally got my new bottle yesterday, and if I remember correctly it lasted at least 2 1/2 months last time (maybe a bit more) which I am just going to say is well worth the cost.   BE products are a little pricey, but deliver on their promise.  They are worth it!

I like the Bare Escentuals line but am very conscientious of chemicals and what I put on my body.  Prime Time Foundation Primer is one of the few products rated on skindeep.com as ok for your skin chemical wise.  It is also amazing stuff.  Lightweight, it smooths on evenly, doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy, and absorbs quickly, leaving a nice base for mineral powder.  I especially like having it on before I put on a powder because it gives my makeup a nice overall polished look.  The downside is that it can be a little pricey but you only use a little at a time so even though the bottle is small I can make it last six to eight weeks.  I don't wear makeup every day so this is a nice splurge I don't mind spending on.  And I feel good that it doesn't contain parabens or any other harmful ingredients.  It even passes Sephora's green seal test that they have.  In short this is awesome stuff and I would recommend it.

I bought Bare minerals starter kit and along with it the prime time. I really liked the makeup and the way it made my skins feel. I didn't use the prime time when I first started using the makeup because it was really humid outside and I didn't want an extra stuff on my face. When the weather got cooler I started wearing it. Within a week I was broken out, red, and gross. I told my sister I didn't know what was going on. I hadn't been this broken out since high school. She asked if I used the prime time and I said yes. She told me that she had the same problem and stopped using it. We both stopped and then our skin returned to normal. It doesnt seem worth the costs or frustration of broken out skin to use this product to keep your skin from looking a little "imperfect". I really don't know the purpose of prime time, but it ended up totally reversing all the great stuff bare essentuals make up has to offer all on its own!
