Barbasol Aloe Shaving Cream is my-usual budget saving choice when it comes to shaving cream, and in the overall scheme of things, I would say that it is my favorite brand of Barbasol shaving cream. In both cases, however, I must say that that isn't a very overwhelming vote of confidence in the product. Don't get me wrong: Barbasol Aloe Shaving Cream gets the job done when you need it to when it comes to your shaving needs, and with an about average scent that doesn't lean too heavily on the generic smelling shaving cream scent, and yet doesn't give off an overwhelming aroma of aloe. Yet that's really the best that I could say about Barbasol, in both efficacy as a shaving cream and in terms of its aroma: it does its job, nothing more and nothing less. It doesn't exactly leave my skin feeling invigorated after I have shaven, perhaps a bit better than the regular Barbasol shaving cream. So, if you don't want to break the bank and don't want to break the shaving mold, I guess you could do worse than Barbasol Aloe Shaving Cream.

As a guy who shaves his head, as well as his face; I have tried nearly every shaving cream on the market. Barbasol is still my favorite. I used to use the original version, but made the switch to the sensitive skin aloe version a few years ago. Since using this, I have never had an issue with razor rash, and always get a good clean shave. Barbasol lathers up well, and stays in place when on the face. It has a great smell. Best of all this product is one of the cheapest shaving creams out there. If you're a guy who has to shave on a daily basis, and you're on a budget; I would highly recommend Barbasol. Effectiveness I not only shave my face, but also my head. Barbasol lathers up great, and stays in place. It allows for a clean shave, and doesn't cause razor burn on the skin. The aloe also leaves the skin smooth. Best for sensitive skin. Scent Barbasol comes in a variety of scents. I particularly enjoy the aloe version one the best. It's very subtle, and pleasant.

Barbasol shaving cream is a must have for any man who desires a close shave with a scent that won't knock your socks off. Barbasol comes out in a rich foamy lather right off the bat and applies very easily. The added aloe is helpful for preventing razor burn and allowing for the closest shave possible.

Shaving creams and gels are things most of us take for granted and to which we often give little thought. After all, as many are fond of saying, the cream or gel is going down the drain anyway, so who cares which brand you buy. Well, there are distinct differences among brands and one I have tried and found good enough to recommend is Barbasol Shaving Cream with Aloe. Shaving Cream Facts and Commentary: Barbasol Shaving Cream with Aloe is a shaving cream product, not a gel, and it dispenses quickly and cleanly with the press of a button. It takes little to cover the face and neck and the scent is generally masculine, but there is enough added scent from the aloe to make it acceptable to either sex. Barbasol Shaving Cream with Aloe does a decent job moisturizing the skin and making shaving reasonably comfortable. I like that it takes just a small amount to spread around the skin and get the job done. However, I find it is not as good at lubricating the skin and softening the hair like my favorite gel varieties. When sliding a blade across the skin, the hair seems to resist just a little bit more, which means it takes a little more effort to shave. Barbasol Shaving Cream with Aloe has one major appeal, however, which will keep it ranked among the top sellers: Its low price. With a cost this low, many people will buy it for that reason alone and if it works well for those individuals, then I would agree that a purchase makes sense. My Bottom Line: My bottom line viewpoint on Barbasol Shaving Cream with Aloe is that it does an acceptable job preparing the skin and facial hair for shaving and it does cost less than most brands, but it doesn't rank among my favorites. I like it better than regular Barbasol, but it still cannot compare to Edge and other gel varieties, so I do not plan on buying or using it again except when in a pinch. Effectiveness It works okay, but the lubrication is not as good as others Scent Scent is acceptable- nothing amazing but okay and both men and women will find it acceptable.
