This fragrance is great for summer, and totally different compared to Banana Republic's other men fragrances. In my opinion, the smell tells people you are a very outgoing open-minded person. It goes well with white clothes. I love the packaging. Great balance of smells. Not so overpowering. Very energetic, and will last all day long. Very pleasant, crisp yet sweet smell. Great balance of soft and strong. A touch of this smell with let you think that you are in a tropical rain forest. For some time I have been a somewhat loyal customer to Banana Republic but of late I have become disenchanted with their clothing.......however in the way of fragrances BR still manages to deliver some very sharp and affordable scents ands Slate for men is no exception! Notes of glacier citrus water, silver sage, and ginger root make up this full bodied cologne and works it's sophisticated magic with complete holding power.....which is always important! **Bottom Line:** If you are ever in BR and need to start a clean Slate in the Fragrance dept. then look no further then this spring and summer ready scent!
