I use a lot of Banana Boat Sunblock so I purchased their Summer Color Self Tanning Mist to try during the colder months when I cannot get outside to get a tan. I was not disappointed with the product itself. The mist was not nearly as messy as other mists I have tried and it turned my skin a nice and light brown that I really enjoyed. The issue I had with this product was the scent. It, seriously, smelled really bad. I could smell it on my skin all day and when I showered, I could still smell the tanning mist after I was finished bathing. I thought that was ridiculous. I hated smelling it on my skin even after I took shower, so I ended up giving this product to my sister, who did not seem to mind the scent as much. I would definitely recommend smelling this product at the store before purchasing to see if you can stand the scent. I was very upset to get home and experience this smell, because I really hated it.

This is a great product. I love Banana Boat and I have been using them for my whole life since I was a little kid. I can actually use this tanning lotion every day and there have been no ill effects. I am happy to say I recommend this spray to anyone willing to try a self tanner and you should be happy with the results. Ease of Application For some reason, this aerosol spray on can is so much better than the other self tanners out there. Other ones will float through the air and cause everything to get stained, but this one does not. I recommend holding the can flat out though because other wise the spray will start to come out unevenly causing you to get dark spots all over. It is best applied by someone else. Scent I actually am scared to admit that I like this scent. Other tanning lotions are horrible to smell even days later, but this one is tolerable to the extent that you can say it actually smells okay.

I am very fair skinned and have tried pretty many self tanners that are on the market. I tried Banana Boats Summer Color and I must say it is one of the best I have used. It did not leave me looking orange like most of the self tanners have in the past. One thing that I did find it hard to do was spray my back (but obviously this is with any self tanner). I found for an even tan that did not look streaky. I thought the scent of this was just like any other banana boat product. It was not an overpowering scent of chemicals. Overall, if you are in the market for a new self tanner, check this one out, it will not disappoint. Effectiveness Left me with a glow of color without looking like a fake orange color. Ease of Application It was easy to spray on the front, however like most tanners a bit difficult for the back to try and get it even. Scent The scent reminded me of the other banana boat products out on the market. No chemical smell. Longevity Just one application made a difference for my light faired skin and I did not need to reapply often. I think it lasted at least a good week for me.

After having some mild success with other spray on self tanners, I figured since I love Banana Boat so much I'd give theirs a try. I was even more pleased with the product then I thought I'd be and I'm super happy about my purchase. Once a week I have my boyfriends mist me down to keep a natural, healthy glow all year and especially right before swimsuit season. It's affordable, it works great, and it's from a brand I've been trusting since I was a kid. Effectiveness This gives a really smooth, soft color. I think if you use it more often the color is supposed to intensify, but I like to use it just once in a while to keep my color up. I've never had a streak, I've never turned orange, this product is great. Ease of Application I love the mist. It's so much easier and neater than lotions and gels. The only problem is you have to keep the can upright to spray or things get a little spotty. I definitely recommend having someone else mist down anything you can't reach easily yourself.

Banana Boat has been around for a long time, and they are a pretty popular lotion brand. Since I'm extremely fair skinned, and don't tan very easily; I decided to give their self tanning spray a shot. My results overall were pretty poor. I used it every day for two weeks, and hardly noticed any change. Especially compared to other products that do the same thing. I'm sure if I kept up with it, I would have started to see results, but the point was to provide a natural looking tan that was noticeable. Another draw back to this product is that it takes quite a while to dry, and it will also leave a strong odor on your skin. The only real good thing about this product is that it is sprayed on, and doesn't streak or lay down uneven. It also does a good job of not turning your skin orange. Overall I can't recommend this product. It just doesn't provide great results. Effectiveness Very unnoticeable results. There are better self tanning products out there. Ease of Application Easy to apply. Just spray over areas you want to tan. Scent Pretty strong scent, that doesn't go away very fast. Longevity This one was hard to rate. My results were so minimal that I couldn't really tell when it started to wear away.

I had forgotten about the Banana Boat Summer Color Self Tanning Mist until I just saw it on here. I'm not sure how I forgot about it because it is a really good product! I'm not sure if they still make this product but if they do you should really give it a try! It's an easy way to add a little color and it looks natural, not orange or streaky. I'm a red head and I have the typical pasty white skin that refuses to tan. I honestly didn't expect much from this product. Self-tanners are always either hit or BIG miss. Luckily, this was a hit! You simply spray the mist on the area you want tanned and then rub it in with a cloth of some sort. [At least that's what I did for the best results].The Banana Boat Summer Color Self Tanning Mist gives natural results. It doesn't turn you orange and it goes on evenly without streaks or anything. You can build up the color by applying more of the product. The tan will last a few days but it's really quick and easy to apply it again. It also doesn't have that weird self-tanner smell either. It has a citrus scent to it which is better than some other scents. I highly recommend Banana Boat Summer Color Self Tanning Mist! It's quick, easy, and looks natural

I can't say enough about the Banana Boat Ultra Mist sunless tanner! I chose the Summer Color, Medium and it's amazing- it's an instant bronzer, color appears in about 1 hour. It's easy to spray so you don't even have to touch it- I prefer to rub mine in and unlike sunless tanner lotions I've tried in the past, there's no streaking where your hand left off. It just blends in flawlessly for a great summer tan. I bought it mainly for my face, which does not tan well in the sun. Either I get burnt cheeks, nose, neck or the sun bypasses me altogether and it's frustrating! I don't like applying tanning oil to my face because it tends to give me breakouts, so this is perfect, it's a light feeling, no sticky residue. You apply it as you would, say a face toner, quickly, wherever you want it- immediately wash your hands though, it does tend to like to color in between your fingers, but even then it's not that noticeable and distracting. You can re-apply as often as you like to achieve the desired shade. Oh another great thing? It has a wonderful lime scent! None of the after-tanning odor!

Banana Boats Summer Color Sunless Airbrush Self-Tanner with Instant Bronzer is AMAZING to say the least. I have VERY fair skin and I have tried almost every self tanner out there and I always get streaks, turn orange, or look like i have dirt on my knees and ankles.  This one is great, it goes on light and you can add more later if you need to. I am as pasty white as they come and I put it on and use a washcloth to rub it in. It give a great glow and I don't look like I put on a tanner. Its not drastic and you can barely tell. I LOOVE IT!
