Love It

5

I actually bought a used Baby Jogger single and absolutely love it! It is so lightweight and glides so well. You hardly have to push it at all. I have to admit that I haven't taken it out for a long run, but only 2-3 miles and it works perfectly. I actually like using it when I'm not running because it takes little effort to keep the wheels moving. I have placed my 4 year old in it and also my 1 1/2 year old in it and they both seem to fit well and the older one says it is comfortable. I would like to eventually get a douge Baby Jogger stroller when we have more room. I would highly recommend this to any runner or really anyone who wants a nice, lightweight stroller to walk in zoos or amusement parks or parks in general. It folds up really nicely considering the wheel size and is easy and quick to assemble. I am very please with this purchase and look forward to getting another one in the near future.

Baby Jogger line - great strollers!

4

My husband and I really like the Baby Jogger strollers for our son (now one and a half). Before he was born, we purchased two: the Baby Jogger City Mini and the Baby Jogger Summit 360. The reason we purchased two strollers from the Baby Jogger line, even though they're pretty pricey: they fold up SO easily. Better than any other stroller we tested. So easily that you can, in fact, hold a baby on one hip with a diaper bag on your back while pulling up the handle to the stroller and lifting it into the back of your car AT THE SAME TIME. It's amazing. I'm all for anything that frees up hands since it seems they're always in demand. For comparison purposes, I'm 5'1" tall and had no problem doing the things I just mentioned. Now on to the cons: there are a few things I don't like about these strollers. These cons apply to both models we purchased. First, they don't allow baby to sit completely upright - baby will always be leaning back. Second, if you do find a way to get baby upright, the backs of the strollers are soft so baby will be hunching over. Third, the storage basket under the stroller is hard to get to - you almost always have to unsnap one corner to get anything bigger than a sippy cup into or out of it. Fourth, these strollers come with NO accessories, so if you want them, be prepared to shell out more money. All that being said, I find the cons to be minor, and definitely not reasons to not buy this line of strollers. Really, the easy fold system is enough to sell it on its own. Besides that, the strollers are sturdy, have foot locks, and have nice canopies to pull over baby's eyes if he's napping (the City Mini has a better canopy than the Summit 360). My son likes riding in both. Lastly - this might be a pro and a con - the wheels to our Summit 360 were not packed correctly in the box, and when it was shipped to us they were very slightly bent. It was enough to keep the stroller from rolling straight when in the locked position while we used it for jogging. Baby Jogger said they had addressed the issue when I called and they did not hesitate to send me replacement wheels at no cost and in a very timely fashion. So be assured, if you do encounter a problem, their customer service department is outstanding. Oh, one more thing - the three wheel design makes it very easy to push the strollers with one hand! When my son and I are strolling around the neighborhood, the dog always comes with us. She likes to pull but it's not a problem! One hand on the leash, one hand on the stroller. Would definitely recommend these strollers!

A good jogger for a runner.

The Baby Jogger Q-series Double stroller has undoubtedly been one of the best purchases I've made since my children were born.  I am a fairly serious runner and when my second child came along, I knew I needed to get a jogging stroller because I had been pushing my first one in a regular stroller to run and it was HARD!  The stroller was a bit expensive, but I knew I wanted a quality jogger and also knew I probably could get a good price out of it when I go to resell it because it's a great brand.  I also knew I wanted a fixed front wheel.  I looked at several used strollers of other brands and just wasn't happy, so when I found this one new, I decided to buy it.  The stroller itself is very durable.  Yes, it's heavy, but it's got to be strong.  I started pushing my kids in it when the littlest one was just 6 months and now my oldest is 4 and he still fits in it quite well (although it's getting a lot heavier now!).  I like that there's a 5-point harness (fully adjustable) for each child, as well as the sun shades with little windows to peek in on them.  It is pretty easy to maneuver when running, but much more difficult when just walking with it (taking it to the amusement park was a nightmare because it's so difficult to turn with the front wheel).  But, it certainly is perfect for running, which is why I bought it in the first place.  I would recommend this stroller to anyone with two kids (or even one child if you're planning to have more - it works just fine with only one child sitting in it) who wants to stay active and keep up your running program.  Just don't expect to run quite as easily because it's still extra weight that you have to push!

It makes me so sad that I don't see more of these strollers around. We live in Colorado and such a high number of the joggers are BOB's. Baby Jogger really stands behind their products, the only time we have ever had a problem (after moving) they replaced everything damaged for free! These strollers maneuver easily so it's great for trails and roller blading- even if  you are in mountainous terrain. I strongly suggest adding thorn proof tires if you go off pavement often. It took us two popped tires to figure it out, woops. This stroller seems like the safest jogger on the market for us because it maneuvers well at high speeds roller blading and doesn't have a bar across like some parents use. My daughter has taken numerous naps in this stroller while we were either roller blading or jogging on trails and she doesn't normally nap so I would say it's a smooth ride for baby. This also folds up and fits easily in our hatchback if we take off one of the wheels. but that's it!

The Baby Jogger stroller is the best stroller that I have used with the exception of the heavy weight of the actual stroller.  It's easy to control and turn because the three wheels and very easy to maneuver.

Serious jogger? Then this one is for you!

My husband loves jogging, and that mostly what we use our baby jogger for.  I bike, and he jogs and pushes the kids.  Its a great arrangement! When we found out we were having a 2nd child, we began the laborious process of finding a double jogger.  My husband is a big comparison shopper, and likes to do a lot of research when we are going to buy something big.  Ultimately, we bought the BabyJogger Performance Double jogger, and have been grateful every day that we decided to spend good money for the best value.  Yes, this is pretty much one of the most expensive double joggers on the market, but it is well worth the expense if you actually use it to jog. Here are some of the pros: 1) Lightweight.  With 2 kids and a large jogger, the lighter the better when you are jogging.  2) 20 inch locked tires.  The larger tires make it easier for jogging.  As well, we were set on getting a front tire that was locked in position, not one that swiveled, or that could swivel but also be locked into place.  My husband had tested some of those out, and even the ones that locked into place still had a slight wobble that really bothered him when he began to run at a decent speed. 3) Strong brakes.  An important safety feature.  We considered buying a used jogger of a different brand, but found the brakes didn't not respond as strong as we wanted them too.  We weren't sure if it was the brand or the fact that it was used, but didn't want to chance it. This jogger also has reclining seats, and big hoods that go down quite a ways to shade the kids.  The seats are padded nicely and there is a good sized area for their feet. The only cons to this are the cons that are inherent in most double joggers.  Its tough to fit into the car trunk.  It folds easily and back tires remove easily, but front tire not so much.  But this is no different from most double joggers.  The only other possible con is the price, but we didn't see this as a negative thing, because after calling a number of 2nd hand stores, we were told over and over that they didn't any double joggers in stock, but if we bought one, to please bring it to them when we wanted to sell it.  So, we feel that this is a good investment and good value, plus we will probably be able to get a decent resale price for it as well. We highly recommend this product to anyone who is a serious jogger/runner and who plans to mostly use it for this purpose.

This stroller has great balance and durability.

The Baby Jogger stroller is one of my favorites! This stroller is very durable. The Baby Jogger travels over rough terrain very easily. This stroller is perfect for the active mom. If you are a jogger or just like to take a daily stroll around the block, this stroller is perfect for the job! The balance of this stroller totally amazes me. My daughter loves hers and uses it daily. It is perfect for hills and dirt paths. If you love to hike with your little one, then this is the perfect stroller for you. The wheels on this stroller are very versatile. Rough or smooth surfaces are not a problem. And as for saftey, well let me just say that with some strollers balance is something that isn't worried about, and they will tip over very easily. Not so with the Baby Jogger! The three wheel system works to keep it level at all times. This stroller folds very quickly and easily. Fits practically anywhere. If you own a compact car, this stroller still fits! I highly reccommend it!

Best lightweight stroller ever purchased.

5

We have purchased several other brands of strollers and was was by far the best lightweight stroller ever purchased. It easy to fold, carry, unlike most umbrella strollers it allows the child to recline to a resting postion to make sleeping easier. It has a huge cover that keeps child covered from heat of sun or weather. It has a vent in the back and two viewing windows that can be closed or opened. We have bought other highend strollers and this one blew the doors off them. Would suggest to any other new moms or anyone looking for a good stroller for walking, running, or in general. Will purchase one for my new daughter-in-law when they have children.

Baby Jogger Performance is the smoothest stroller around.

Baby Jogger is one of the best values out there. It has many safety features and is a very smooth ride with real tires with spokes and a braking system. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone. It looks good and has large wheels and shock absorbers. My baby loves it.
