I HAVE OWNED/USED THESE BABY EINSTEIN DVD'S COLLECTION/SET WITH ALL OF MY KIDS AND EACH SCENERIO HAD ITS OWN SPECIAL USES AND THE KIND OF SANITY KEEPING/MOMS HELPER/FEW MINUTES OF PEACE KEEPER BETWEEN KIDS WONDERMENT ALL MADE ON LITTLE 30 MINUTE DVDS/MOVIES.... THAT SERIOUSLY SAVED MY LIFE IIN DIFFERENT/UNIQUE WAYS WITH MY 3 CHILDREN I SHOWED THEM TO. I RECEIVED THESE DVDS/SET WHEN I HAD MY OLDER CHILD 9 YEARS AGO. DURING THAT TIME/ THAT CHILD, I WORKED FULL TIME AND RAISING MY FIRST CHILD... THOSE AWESOME/PERFECT/SPECIAL 30 MINUTES HERE AND THERE WERE MY SALVATION/LIFE SAVER MORE OFTEN THAN NOT. NEEDLESS TO SAY THESE DVDS SERIOUSLY HELPED ME THROUGH THOSE FIRST CHILD / FIRST YEARS STAGEOF MY LIFE. NOW... ALL DVDS STILL PERFECT CONDITION... 9 YEARS AND TWIN (ALMOST 2 YR OLD)TODDLERS LATER... I AM STILL USING/LOVING/APPRECIATING THE SANITY THAT THIS DVD SET IS STILL OFFERING ME, ALL THESE KIDS & YEARS LAter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!! BABYEINSTEIN DVD SET IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ALL PARENTS/CHILDREN!

I think Baby Einstein is one of the best inventions for young children. I was given a set of dvd's at my baby shower and was intrigued to find out why Baby Einstein came with so many good reviews. I very quicky found out why. Firstly the idea is so simple yet enormously effective. The beautifully crafted toys and objects are displayed in such a way to totally grab the childrens attention. They learn how to count, how to operate things and some images are just mezmorizing (such as the paper wind mills). I find myself being totally absorbed by the images and I love the classical music which my son thinks, to this day, was invented by Baby Einstein. Whilst I'm not really the kind of mum who regularly sits their child down in front of the television in order to catch a quiet moment, there were times when I really appreciated that my son was totally encaptured by the dvd. I knew he was safe and entertained. These are a keeper!

A child psychologist and long time teacher who's been working with these new "baby einstein" kids coming in has commented that they are CONDITIONED to have constant stimulus by these programs.  Without silence and alone time, a child cannot learn imagination, etc.  Simply reading with your child should be enough to make him or her einstien quality.  Please re-consider this when shopping for educational toys.  Also, by making them a consumer this early in life is going to create the adaptation to the behavior.

I think the Baby Einstein series are great and meet my expectations in regards to teaching a baby sounds, music, animals, etc... the only problem is the annoying commercials before the video starts, it takes me about 5 minutes fast forwarding the dvd until I can finally click on start so the baby can enjoy the program! Why do they have to add so much advertising? they should just leave the program as it is so babies can start learning right away!

The Baby Einstein company was created by a mom who was wanting something fun and educational for her children. She created Baby Einstein movies using the though of bright colors, classical music and wonderful hand puppets. She is a pure genius. My son is turning one in October and has every movie available. He also has many of the toys. I enjoy sitting with him and discussing whats happening in the movies. He has recently learned the word "apple" just from viewing and discussing the movie "Baby McDonald" with me.Im so proud of him and i truly thank Baby Einstein for giving us so much fun!

My daughter, now four, loves Baby Einstein and Little Einstein movies and books. We've got the Baby Animals DVD and a selection of Little Einstein shows on tape, and a couple of the Baby Einstein books, like the art and colors one. The Baby Einstein movie, especially, is engaging without being too annoying -- she loves the light music and colorful puppets and toys used, and I love that it's not filled with smarmy dialogue. It's nice to know that she's being exposed to classical music along the way, instead of just advertising jingles, and she surprises me sometimes with what she picks up from it. For example, on a recent zoo trip, we passed an exhibit of lorikeets, parrots, and other colorful birds, and she pointed to them and said "tropical birds!", directly from the Baby Einstein Baby Animals DVD. She was proud of herself, and I was pleased to see her making connections between things she's watched and things she's seeing in her own life.

I have been using all of the baby einstein I can get my hands on and they are great! I play the classical cd's in y car and my son loves it! Robby is 7 months old and he is really into all of the toys and music. Robby has such a great time in the car enjoying the music and playing with his classical player as well.

I would recommend these to any parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or any realative that has children to buy for. I purchased the DVD's for my grandson when he was about a year old and have never regretted it. They have helped to teach him his colors, shapes, first words and an appreciation for music. He will often pick the Baby Einstein DVD over a Disney or Cartoon DVD. I have also seen and puirchased several Baby Einstein toys and while they are not made to be silly or anything like that they still manage it while being educational. Even while the kids are playing they are learning something without knowing it. I wish these things had been around when my kids were young.
