horrible customer service and an unreliable card
I have had multiple problems since I opened my account with BBVA Compass and received my debit card. Randomly, my husband's card and my own stopped working completely despite having money in our account, and it took multiple phone calls and trips to our local bank to get it fixed. When it does work, the card will run even if you have no money in the account, leading to hefty overdraft fees. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Customer Service Long holds, rude employees, people who cannot help you and don't really want to, very high fees, I could go on and on.
