I raise a garden of fruits and vegetables, as well as an orchard of fruit trees.  I try to be environmentally conscious and use the safest available products on my plants (beneficial insects, interplanting of crops, etc.).  Every now and then, though, I get an infestation of aphids or other bugs that are able to defoliate young trees overnight.  I have been very discouraged using most safe products to eliminate these bugs.  (I am also constrained from using harsh insecticides and weed killers because a commercial vineyard is within 1/2 mile of my home.)  I finally decided to try using insecticidal soap on the trees being attacked.  I began by using a different brand of insecticical soap.  (Frankly, it was a lot less expensive.)  I'm afraid the results were poor; some bugs died, but enough survived to defoliate the trees (in 2 days, instead of 1).  Then I put out the extra money for Natria and it eliminated nearly all the bugs on the first pass.  Additional treatments after heavy rains have kept my young trees leafy and healthy.  This product works well.
