Okay but what's with the smell?
I'm always on the lookout for new products for my hair. Being a guy, the options seem limited, unless one wants to smell like flowers or a perfume. I generally ended up buying really expensive products that didn't really do anything special. I figured that using Axe hair products might be a good change-of-pace, especially given that it's much cheaper than other hair products (that's a relative statement - it's still pretty expensive for hair paste). Also, I like the Axe smell - when it's not overwhelming. Overall, this hair product is fine. It does the job and nothing more. It lasts through most of the day and is pretty resistant to modest moisture. I like the hold for my hair, and it performs better than most other products I've tried. The main problem that I have with the product is its smell, which really surprises me given Axe's market. It smells rather unpleasant and isn't appealing at all. I find that I have to use other products in my hair just to mask the smell. If you're insensitive to its smell, it is an okay product, though.
