For as long as I can remember everyone has been raving about axe body scent and how amazing it is. I even know women who will buy the various male scents so they can smell like they're boyfriends, husbands, lovers, whatever. I did not experience axe scented body fragrance until recently, and I can honestly say that I'm glad that I didn't. I do not like this particular scent at all. It is way too strong and over powering. I can't even stand to be around someone who is wearing it because it's just too strong. Someone else said that it makes you cough, and I would have to agree with that. Thankfully, the scent doesn't seem to last too terribly long, but I guess that would also be considered a con to those who are in love with the scent. I honestly don't understand how people can love this smell so much, because I'm not a fan at all. Even if you put on a little drop of it, it's just too strong.

I really feel this product is awful. I have bought Axe Proximity Body Fragrance for my son and my husband and it smells horrible on both. I don't think the tv ads are telling the whole stry, and I don't think they should be encouraging the young boys to douse Axe Proximity Body Fragrance on and have their fellow classmates or friends subject to this foul odor. The first time I bought Axe Proximity Body Fragrance and it smelled putrid on my son, I thought maybe he needed a shower first. However when I bought Axe Proximity Body Fragrance for my husband and it had that same tinny stench I relized it is the product. Maybe the two I bought were old and rank but I dont think so. I would ell everyone to stay away from Axe Proximity Body Fragrance because it is offensive to others around.

My husband used to wear this stuff when we were dating and I used to give him so much junk about it because it really does stink. I had to break him of the habit of wearing this stuff and get him to wear something that actually smells good. This stuff used to give me the biggest headache when we would go out on dates and all I could smell was this in his car and it was so strong and I just couldn't stand it. Finally I got up the courage to tell him and ever since he hasn't worn it. He didn't know how I couldn't like the smell of it when I first told him, but thank God that he stopped wearing it because I really couldn't stand smelling that stuff all the time. Men go get some cologne that isn't as cheap and smelly as this stuff. We like stuff that smells good.

When Nirvana's *Smells Like Teen Spirit* came onto the scene in 1991, I wondered what the heck they were talking about. It took 20 years for me to finally figure it out what they were talking about - Middle School BO. I teach 8th Grade and not a day goes by that a can of Axe is being passed around the room by the boys and sprayed with a ferocity that would make a fireman jealous. The aerosol haze of fragrance is first an attack on the bystaner's eyes - one shouldn't be able to see "fragrance" after it has left its fragrance vessel. Next it is an attack on the bystanders' olfactory as the pungent smell of spicy musk intermingles with the body odor emitting from the tweenager who is "too cool for old man deodorants". Nirvana this is not! Save yourself, your friends and especially the girls in the class who are too polite to tell you that you stink to your face - you stink, and blasting yourself with Axe is not helping!

I had a coupon for this stuff so I decided to buy it and try it out for my husband to wear. He put a little on by my request and oh my gosh, it was awful. I didn't like it at all. I would rather him stick to his other cologne and never wear this stuff again. It is really strong smelling and not a good strong. It kind of made me sick how strong it was. I don't think he put that much on either, so it wasn't just that he was wearing too much. I do not like this stuff and threw it away after the first time he wore it because I would be happy if I never smelled it again. Women do not buy this for your men. It is not a good scent, well to me at least. I don't think he liked the smell very much either though.

I have some friends that wear this body spray and I can't stand the smell of it. The smell is way too strong and it doesn't even smell good. The fragrance gives me migraine headaches every time I am around it. I don't want to sound like a jerk and tell my friends that the body spray they wear stinks and gives me a headache, but I really can't stand the stuff. I guess if you have body odor then it covers that up, but I think I might actually prefer the smell of body odor to this fragrance as bad as that sounds. If the smell doesn't make you choke or pass out and for some reason you like the smell, then go buy some because it is cheap, much cheaper than cologne. I guess the reason it is so cheap is because it smells so bad though. Awful fragrance. I wouldn't recommend to anyone unless they have lost their sense of smell.

I have found the Axe Proximity Body Fragrance to be one of the favorite little gift ideas in my men's life. I often find it on sale or a coupon to use when purchasing it. It is fun to stuff in a stocking or just put in a little gift bag for them. They love how it smells and like to spray it around the house - LOL (good thing that I like the smell as well). The only fall back that I have found with the Axe Proximity Body Fragrance is that the smell does not last long and they often have to re-apply it throughout the day. I do like how the bottle is not glass so I don't have to worry about any breakage because they like to carry it with them every where they go. For an inexpensive gift for a guy, this is a nice surprise.

I recieved Axe Proximity body fragrance as a gify this past holiday season, and I couldn't be happier with it. I've never used an Axe product prior, but I was pleasently surprised with the smell of it upon using it for the first time. In fact, I now ONLY use Axe body sprays. Both my sister and my girlfriend said they were fans of the smell, but noted it's important to not overdo it when spraying, as it acts of a turnoff. You only need a small amount to spray across your body for it to work its magic. If you overdo it, you (and those around you) can easily get headaches. If you simply spray yourself with a small amount, you'll be fine for the whole day, and you'll avoid headaches. I know many other people in their teens and twenties have the same smell, because Axe is such a popular brand. So if you want a unique fragerence, then I would look elsewhere. Otherwise, for a pleasent smell, Axe's spray is a great option.

I started using axe when I was in high school and it is a decent deodorant spray. I used to use it under my armpits as my primary deodorant. However, I quickly found out that it was not long lasting and now I use deodorant sticks. I still think axe is a decent option if you need something quick to smell good. For example, if you don't have enough time to shower after physical activity, you can give yourself a couple sprays of axe and you are good to go. Nevertheless, I would not recommend someone using axe as their only deodorant, because it does not provide all day protection and wears off easily. I also had an issue with the spray giving me rashes underneath my armpits. I think that some people these days overuse axe and douse themselves with axe making themselves have a strong deodorant spray. Don't do this! You will not attract the ladies and people will look at funny. Although axe is decent, I cannot recommend this product.

I understand that AXE products are priced fairly cheap but thats how I would describe this product. The scent is not ever lasting and it will fade once you incorporate other scents into your body. The smell last no more than an hour and to be honest its not a good scent to begin with. I would say that it smells very gym and masculine like and maybe thats why a lot of beef heads like it. I understand that the commercials say that they will get you a girl with this scent but trust me girls dont like their men smelling cheap. I honestly would fork out more cash and buy a more tasteful elegant scent. At the end of the day, if you want to smell cheap then this is the fragrance for you. I am dissapointed in AXE for false advertising because their scent does not live up to what they say. Like I said before, what you pay is what you get and this is not something that you want to get. Overall, very bad fragrance.
