Avon True Color Eye shadow Quad looks fantastic in the case. The colors are true to the color shown in the Avon book. The price tag makes this a very affordable product - or so I thought when I saw it in the Avon book. I have purchased one and was initially very impressed with how nice this product looks. The eye shadow is cream based and can be applied using your finer, the brush that comes with it or with another eye shadow brush. The four colors really compliment each other to give you and incredible looking eye. The only problem is that the eye shadow did not stay on for long. It seemed to fade away. Initially my eye make up looked fantastic and during the day I noticed that it had faded. I even used an eye shadow primer but this eye shadow fades, rubs off easily and needs constant touch ups. I do have oily skin and do need to touch up my make up during the day but I have never had to re-apply eye shadow this much.

Avon True Color is great eye shadow. I buy the black, gray, white, and pink quad. I love it! These are the colors I like to wear most and I am extremely satisfied with this eye shadow. It is very easy to apply and I love that it has a mirror included and a wand.

there are Avon products i like and Avon products i don't like, but this one is one that i REALLY like. i've always had a hard time finding eyeshadows that wouldn't crease and that would last all day, and i think i finally found one. i have several of these quads, in varying colors and i like the way that they blend. i like that they combine the midtone colors, dark colors and lite colors so that you get just the right look you're going for. and the color combos are very good, in my opinion and you can mix them around. it goes on very smoothly and easily. it spreads well without being too powdery and going all over the place. i like that i can use one compact all day, starting with the lighter colors for the morning and just enhancing with the darker colors for nighttime. i would recommend this eyeshadow to anyone, and i have used many different brands, including Chanel and Fresh and this is my favorite. i do wish they would come out with more color combos though

I have the Denim Blue and Purple Haze and love both of them, the colors are nice and last a long time. My daughter is 15 and also loves these. They have such a nice variety of colors and I don't think you could be disappointed in any of them I think Avon did a great job in putting the color combinations together. I have brown eyes and using blue eyeshadow is tricky for me to wear, but the the Denim Blue is a nice color. I have better luck with purples and the Purple haze is very nice. The lighter colors don't show up very well especially the pink, but the other colors make up for it. I especially love the dark blue, it is a nice muted color that goes well with black eye liner. Sometimes I just use it and liner and mascara. When these go on sale again I plan on purchasing the Romantic Mauves for me and the Fresh Cut Greens for my daughter. They are a lot of fun to play around with and the price is great too.

True Color Eyeshadow quads are probably one of my favorite Avon products out there! They have so many different color combinations, and they make picking eyeshadow so easy! They also provide a good diagram on how you can apply the eyeshadow colors if you want. I personally own about 7 of these compacts, and I really love almost all of the different ones that I've gotten. Some people say that these eyeshadows are too light, but I find that if you use a wet brush to apply the lighter colors, then you can get the colors to show up very well on your eyes- most dark colors you can apply with a dry brush and have them show up fine. This is just my opinion though, since I am not the kind of person to like really heavy-looking, dark makeup. My favorite quads are "Blushing Raisins" and " Sandy Corals," white my least favorite Quad is "Fresh Cut Greens." This one is my least favorite because it really doesn't match my skintone very well, though it would look good on someone less olived-tones than me.

I bought the Avon quad eyeshadow colors in a mauve/purple color combo just a few months ago and I am IN LOVE with the way the colors look on my eyes.  I'm not one to wear a lot of heavy makeup and these colors blend very well and don't make my eyes look too over done.  I use them a lot without base/foundation and they seem to last all day from what I can tell.  I agree with another reviewer that you don't want to rely on this for dramatic impact.  I'm a very fair-skinned gal and even the darkest shade of the four is not too dark for me.  It is really pretty -- somewhat glimmery so it's not too dark, but also provides that little oomph of color that I need.  I like the lighter colors, too, because they highlight in my brow line.  I wish there was one color lighter because being so fair skinned, the lightest color isn't light enough to really highlight by eyebrow.  Also, the applicators in this are very cheap -- I recommend you buy your own applicators and use those instead of the spongy cheap ones provided.

When it comes to eye shadow, it's hard to make a mistake with neutral colors. Greens can be too neon, pinks can be too youthful, blues can look too retro, and violets can be too intense.  But a neutral palette -- like the **Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad - Sandy Corals** -- is a safe bet for a flattering eye. With four colors ranging from light to deep, the True Color eyeshadow quad allows me to fly solo or blend colors with ease.  If I'm in a hurry, a sweep of the medium shade across my lids gives me a barely-made-up, yet finished, look.  I often prefer a more natural look and this product makes it easy to accomplish.  If I have a little more time or want a little more impact, I can use the very lightest color as a highlight, while the medium acts as a base and the darkest color creates contours and definition. The colors are softly matte, with just the tiniest hint of shimmer, making it a good choice for daytime wear.  I find that they apply well and blend flawlessly.  The color seems to stay put for as long as I need it to, and it removes easily when the day is done. **Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad - Sandy Corals** is not the same caliber as MAC or other boutique brands, but it holds its own against drugstore competitors.  If you're looking for dramatic impact, this is probably not the pick for you.  But if you want an inexpensive eyeshadow quad with a flattering choice of colors, I would definitely recommend this eye shadow.

I love this product love love love it. I am a very fair skinned, woman, very light blonde hair, and have always found it hard to match eye shadow colors to my eye and skin. Even with some products that give you a tip on the hows, who's and what colors to wear. Not to mention the problem with some products that tend to wear of through out the day. Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad is wonderful. The quads come in all different colors, and colors that actually are made for different skin, and eye color. The product stays on through out the day without having to use a primer. I also, prefer this product to most because it comes off smoothly with or without a eye make up remover. The price point is a little above my budget, however Avon's True Color Eyeshadow Quads, is a product I trust and am willing to spend a little extra on.

I bought this while it was on sale and got the Ocean colors; the one with pink, bright sunny blue, white, and charcoal. First of all I wasn't a fan of the Charcoal. It looked rather more grey on me than black. The colors stayed on for a good 5 hours (in high humidity) and reapplying was simple and easy. I combined the blue and the black together, blue in one corner, black in the other and they met in the middle. I blended it out and it looked fabulous! ♥ Alot of my friend complimented me on the blue, it was just so bright and bold. I really love it. :)

I bought this product about 6 months ago and when I did I bought all the colors available. BIG mistake!! The eye colors don't stay at all and I use eyeshadow primer. Plus the colors were way too matte for me.
