I love Avon Skin So Soft Facial Hair Remover Cream! I use it to remove the fine hair about my lip. I used to get my hair above my upper lip waxed all the time but then my sister began selling Avon and I discovered this product! It is fantastic! I love that I can squeeze some out and use the tip to apply it to my upper lip. I never need to touch the cream. After the cream has been on for two minutes, I remove it with a wet cloth. That's it. Goodbye unwanted facial hair. I wont lie, the cream does smell. When I first used it, I thought the cream smelled like a home perm that my Mother used to use. But the smell is easy to get past as you do not need to have the cream on your face long. I never leave it on longer than two minutes. I only use this product on my upper lip. I only need to use this product about once every five to six weeks. It is quite effective. I have never experienced any side effects while using this product. Effectiveness This cream is very effective at removing unwanted facial hair. Scent The scent of this cream is pretty bad. Let's face it, the cream is a hair remover and they never smell good.

I was a little nervous to purchase the avon skin so soft facial hair remover because I have always had to be careful when using products on my face. As soon as I applied the product I could immediately feel it starting to burn. I followed the directions exactly as they are given but could only last 2 minutes. After that 2 minutes I was absolutely horrified that I had a slight chemical burn above my lip. It did remove the hair but it also left me with a red scab like irritation on my lip. So I didn't buy that again because it was too strong. After about a year my avon representative informed me that they had a sensitive skin formula. I purchased it and I totally love it. Thank you avon for adjusting your product .

I had never used a cream on my face before; I am a daily plucker. I have thick black hair on my upper lip and chin and fine light hair under my lower lip and the corners of my mouth and on my cheeks. I had tried the body hair remover from Avon and had no problems with it so i thought that i would give the face cream a try. the tube says to put it on thickly and not to leave it on longer that 2-8 minutes. I followed the directlons exactly because it was my first time using it and I did spot tests every two minutes up to 6 minutes when it was burning my face so badly that I had to take it all off as soon as possible. when i got it off of my face i had visible burn marks on both of the corners of my upper lip and another one right under the bridge of my nose. these burns ended up scabbing over after like three days and I now have small scars in those spots from the burns. all of the other areas on my face were and are fine and it did work really well I just cant use it on my upper lip which is what I bought it for; it really hurts to pluck those hairs

I hated to do it but I finally faced reality and decided it was time to purchase a facial hair removal cream. I love Avon products so I felt comfortable with trying this product that was made by them and is part of the Skin So Soft line. I am very happy to say that I am one hundred percent pleased with this facial hair removal cream. It has an average price. the tube is very easy to handle and for me using it above my upper lip the applicator made it very easy to use, I never touched any of it with my fingers! It went on smooth & very easily and in two and a half minutes I was removing it with no hair left and my skin feeling very soft and absolutely no skin irritation at all. The smell is also very pleasant so with having to do my area right below my nose that is definatly a very big plus! I am very happy with the ease of use , the smell and the end result of a hairless upper lip and very smooth skin that was not irritated at all!!!

I received this in a kit along with wax strips and a small bottle of skin soothing gel.  This did not work for me at all.  It smelled terrible, did not remove the hair, and actually made my skin **BLEED**!  The wax strips were no better, I followed the directions as they are, and they did not remove the hair, all they did was leave residue on my face and cause pain.  Would not recommend to anyone with hair that isn't as fine as can be.

Finally a facial hair remover that actually works AND doesn't smell bad enough to require an immediate shower! I love my Avon Skin So Soft facial hair remover for many reasons. The first and most important is that it really works. Not only does it work well on those unwanted hairs on my upper lip but it also works for those peach fuzzies on the side of my jawline. Now, this isn't the first hair remover that's worked for me, but what makes it stand out above the rest is that it doesn't small bad, I actually think it smells like cucumber! Yummy! Don't forget when using this product that proper application and timely removal DOES matter. DO NOT rub the product in, this should be easy since it has a slanted tip for easy application. Also be sure to watch your time! The directions say no longer than 8 minutes. I've found that 7 minutes works best for me, otherwise it starts to irratate my skin a bit. All in alI, I think this is a great product at a great price!

I am like most women who have that unwanted facial peach fuzz but do not have the funds to treat this with laser removal. I also do not want to put myself through the discomfort of waxing. I tried the inexpensive Avon Skin So Soft facial hair removal cream and had great results. This product comes in a squeeze tube that has a pointed applicater tip (shape of lipstick) to allow for easy application to facial areas needing attention (especially the upper lip). It is easy to wipe off of your skin after leaving on for the needed time. There are a few drawbacks to this item. I think it does have an odor but not a strong one. My skin did burn/tingle after removing it but it was not too uncomfortable and did not last long. You will likely want to buy a couple tubes at a time as it comes in a 1 oz tube. How long it lasts just depends on the area you need to cover and how often you need to apply it.
