This Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive cream is some good stuff, not just for hands either. I have eczema and have seriously tried everything. I bought this on a whim to try out and it did make my hands and arms really soft without leaving a nasty greasy feeling. It did help the redness too, only problem was it burned a little. That is from my eczema so I am sure if you are just buying this for severe dry skin then you won't have that problem. I left this on the sink and used after washing dishes and over time I did notice my hands looked softer and less cracked and dry. Scent It's fragrance free so it just has a normal lotion smell. Absorption It absorbed fairly quickly into my skin and did not leave a greasy feeling. You only need a small amount too, a little goes a long way. Effectiveness I used the entire jar in maybe a month's time and it did seem to help with the dry cracked skin I had on my hands. Redness and tightness were reduced as well. I really liked this cream but with eczema certain creams just tend to burn when I apply them, unfortunately this was one that did.

I bought the Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Extra Strength Cream eight months ago. A friend of mine sells Avon products, and she always makes me feel obligated to buy something from her. As I was looking through the book, I realized there wasn't much in there that I didn't already have. Most of the products are still sitting in my bathroom collecting dust because I don't use any of them. I didn't expect anything different from the Avon moisture therapy intensive extra strength cream, but I bought it to shut up my friend that was selling it. I was pleasantly surprised with this cream. The jar is very small, but it only takes a small amount to cover my hands. My hands stay very dry because I have to hand wash all of my dishes. Washing dishes takes all the moisture out of my hands. After the first use, my hands were so much softer. After a week of using it, the little lines on my hands were disappearing! This cream is great for dry hands, and this is one Avon product I will be ordering again.

Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Extra Strength Cream is one of my favorite products offered by Avon. I use a lot of hand sanitizer because I have five kids. I am always trying to keep germs and illnesses out of my home. Avon Moisture Therapy is the best solution I have found for my extremely dry hands. It is thick, but seems to melt right on to my skin. It's not heavily scented, so I can carry a bottle of it with me and use it at anytime. I also make my kids use it because it's the only cream I've found that doesn't irritate my youngest daughter's skin. This cream is definitely gentle, yet effective. I love that I can now go online and order Avon without going through a sales person. The website allows me to browse all of the products available, not just those featured in an Avon sales book. I think this cream is the best that's available in this price range. I purchase it regularly and hope they continue to sell it for years to come. I have absolutely no complaints! I keep one by my desk, one in my purse, one by my husband, one is ready for my daughter at all times. It keeps our hands super soft, no greasy, slimy, slippery feeling. Scent its scent is wonderful! It is nothing strong, fruity, or feminine. It's hard to get him to like something, and now that he likes this one, I have to keep many of them hidden or else they are gone because of him. On the hands, it soaks in, but not too fast where it seems like you didn't put anything on. It also doesn't leave behind any sticky slime on your keyboard as you type out what you think about this lotion. When it is rubbed into sore feet that are dry and cracked, it softens them a bit and makes the feet feel more comfortable, especially if you put socks on directly after applying to keep the moisture in your feet. When it is applied to the rough part of elbows or knees, it absorbs well and makes the skin feel softer. Effectiveness It can be winter with dry, cold air that bites your skin raw, or hot and dry air that starves the skin of moisture, Avon's moisture therapy does the trick! Keep it around in your purse, backpack, briefcase, or summer bag to apply to apply and rub in to any part of your body. Playing in the sand? Dry skin popping up from it? Rub it in! The words extra strength and intensive appear in the label for this cream and it is true. This has proven to be a lifesaver for my dry cracked heels and kneecaps and elbows. This is not a cream to use when you are on the go, its thickness and rich texture do need to be thoroughly massaged in. However, if you can devote time to applying the lotion you will be rewarded. I always use this lotion with cotton moisture gloves and booties, and my skin looks and feels smoother, younger, and less dry. This also works wonders as a cuticle cream. Scent The scent is hard to describe. It does not smell like the skin so soft lotions. It has a slightly medicinal smell to it, but nothing obnoxious. Absorption You will have to work at this lotion. I always apply this when I know I have a few minutes to sit still. Its thick texture works wonders for your driest skin, but you have to massage it in quite forcefully. To expedite the process, I always use cotton moisture gloves or booties. Effectiveness This cream took years off the appearance of my feet and heels. It also saved my dry , discolored kneecaps. I have used this as a cuticle cream as well.

I purchased Avon MOISTURE THERAPY Intensive Extra Strength cream along with the body lotion from an ecommerce website recently. The product is as effective as the lotion and helps in curing the dryness of the skin. I apply this cream on weekends only as I am at home all day. The fragrance of this product is very good. After completing my household chores and other work, the hands get so rough and the skin gets dry. Applying this cream on the hands gives it relief and the hands feel so soft and smooth. It helps in soothing the itchiness of the skin. I also apply this Avon cream on my cracked feet only at night and then wear socks so that the cream can work all night. This product cures the cracks on the heels very soon. The cream does not feel sticky on the hands and so I do not need to wash my hands after applying the cream on my skin. My kids also use this cream when they experience dryness on their skin.

I like this cream by Avon because it works. It is extra strength, and just what I need. My hands get so dry they hurt. I wash dishes several times a day. The hot and cold water dries them out. This cream softens my skin. I use this cream in the wintertime the most. It is my favorite time of year. I use this cream throughout the year as well. I like to rub this cream underneath my gloves when it's cold. When I take off my gloves, my hands are silky smooth. They feel like I had a spa treatment. Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Extra Strength Cream lives up to its name. It works like an intensive extra strength cream should work and adds moisture to very dry and irritated skin. The skin on my hands gets itchy and flaky, especially during the winter, and when regular strength creams and lotions don't work, this cream does. It helps soothe my irritated skin without feeling heavy. It is absorbed into the skin quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. My adult son has autism and picks at the skin on his hands. We have tried many lotions and hand creams, including prescription ones, and this cream actually works better than any of the others. So I use it on his hands a couple of times a day to cut down on the peeling and irritation. The scent is pleasant and light so it doesn't bother him, and he says it doesn't leave a heavy feeling on his hands like some other creams. It's nice to have a cream that works for both of us. I do wish I could buy it in stores, but I just try to remember to order it from Avon before we run out.
