The color choices are vast. This foundation was the exact color of my skin which definitely helped when I applied it. It went on smooth and creamy but not heavy or thick. I didn't use the sponge. I used my fingers and lightly applied the foundation which gave me great coverage but nothing too heavy. I was amazed, frankly, at how good and how natural my skin looked the first time I used this foundation. It dries to a lightly powdery finish but I didn't notice that the foundation looked dull or powdery on my face. It looked just like my skin, only better. The better news is that my other cosmetics blended well and everything lasted on my face for hours until I was ready to remove my cosmetics. Avon usually disappoints me but not this time. This foundation is among my favorites! ***My Viewpoint****** *** **Avon**** Beyond Color Skin Smoothing Compact Foundation** is great for people looking for medium coverage and very long lasting wear. It is buildable so you can have light to medium coverage or apply it a bit heavier for extra coverage.
