i tried avon's dandruff shampoo/conditioner since i like many of their other products; but i was less than satisfied with it.  it's really no better than what you can get at a drug store, and those have never been effective for my hair and scalp issues.  my dandruff problem remained the same (wasn't worse, but wasn't better.)  i did notice that halfway through the bottle my hair got REALLY greasy at the roots and very dry and frizzy at the bottoms (even immediately after washing.)  i had never had this problem before using this shampoo.  it was extremely frustrating, and i had to switch hair care products.  my hair was also very easily tangled while using it, probably because the shampoo and conditioner are in 1 product.  it also smelled a little weird. overall, i really wouldn't recommended this shampoo/conditioner.  if you have good luck with drugstore brands it would probably work for you, but it didn't for me.  the price wasn't too bad though, especially since i bought it while it was on sale.

I have very oily hair, so it's been hard to find a way to clean it thoroughly and yet keep it moisturized too.  It seemed like if I did extra conditioner, it would always make my scalp and the top of my hair heavy and greasy. I bought this product from Avon a few years ago and really like it. It keeps my dandruff away, while moisturizing at the same time!  When I had long hair down to the middle of my back (right now my hair is in a pixie cut, very very short) I used it and I did have to use an additional heavy Avon conditioner on the bottom half of my hair, but only because the bottom half was color and heat-damaged and would frizz with the slightest provocation.  I loved how this shampoo cleaned my scalp and the top of my hair though, then cleaned the bottom without stripping it, and it seemed to help the damaged part soak up the conditioner better!  Now that I've cut off everything and have my very short hair, this shampoo couldn't be more perfect.  It's very affordable and I am able to only have to purchase one product!    My husband even likes it! I definitely recommend this and other Avon shampoos, value and quality!

Avon ADVANCE TECHNIQUES 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Shampoo & Conditioner is a great product and when you pay attention and buy it on sale, it's a greal deal.  Recently, Avon has revamped this product and it has a new and improved scent.  Now, I will never buy another shampoo because I love the smell! I had strayed from this product recently and my partner specifically requested it back.  It definately works and has enough conditioner to keep your hair feeling silky.  I use it because I have sensitive skin and regular shampoo frequently makes my scalp feel itchy.  This shampoo soothes my scalp and also leaves my skin and hair feeling moisturized.  I order all of my Avon products online and it only takes a few days to get here so ordering remains a convenient way to get the products.  I don't sell Avon or even know anyone who does.  The bottle is a good size for the price and if you haven't tried it yet, or even if you tried the original, I would recommend giving it another shot because the new and improved is a great product!
