I was looking for an alternative to my expensive salon brand that I had been buying for years. I love the Aveeno lotion so thought this was a logical choice. I have color treated and highlighted hair. I do bleach it at times and it can get very dry and brittle. My expensive salon shampoo works good but I was trying to save money. I used this product for about a month along with the conditioner and found that my hair was dull and actually getting drier and drier. I was sitting on the couch one day playing with my hair and noticed I had a ton of split ends that were just breaking off. I never had this problem with my other shampoo and conditioner. I went and got a hair cut but my hair was still dry when I was using this shampoo. I switched back to my expensive brand my hair quickly bounced back. The product just did not perform well on my hair. The smell was just ok. I am not a fan of heavy fragrances but this product just smelled different. Whatever was in it was strong and I kept smelling it all day. I personally did not like it that much.

The Aveeno Nourish + Soothe Shampoo is another great Aveeno product! Recently for some reason, I had white flakes in my hair (maybe it was because of the other shampoo I was using) and it just looked so gross and disgusting! After I applied the Aveeno shampoo, I noticed that it got rid of the dandruff and nourished my hair scalp!

This is an all around great shampoo. I try to stick to more natural products, and this actually falls to the more processed/chemical product side than most of what I buy. However, it works extremely well and it has more natural ingredients than most, and it keeps my hair looking great. This is my second favorite shampoo. It is also reasonably priced, and I do not need to use a lot of shampoo to clean my hair. When using this shampoo, I only need to wash my hair a few times a week to keep it looking clean. It is also sold at most grocery/drug stores, so it is a very convenient product to pick up when I am low on shampoo. Effectiveness This is the number one shampoo I use as far as effectiveness goes. My hair looks great when I use this product. Scent I am sensitive to strong scents, and this shampoo has a very mild scent, so that is definitely a positive for me. My husband is also very scent sensitive, and he has not mentioned a problem with this shampoo.

Over the years, I've come to find that I like most products made by Aveeno. Most everything they make is a high quality product that works as promised. Their Aveeno Nourish and Soothe Shampoo is no exception. I get a lot of samples. When I receive a sample of shampoo and conditioner I usually stick it in the basket in my linen closet reserved for personal care and beauty product samples. I use them when I'm headed away from home for a few nights or save them for when I run out of my regular shampoo and haven't had a chance to get to the store. This Aveeno Nourish and Smoothe Shampoo (and condition) packet I took with me up north to visit my parents. It worked really nicely! This shampoo really did make my hair feel soft and shiny. I was happy enough with the results that I purchased a bottle when I got back home. Scent This smells nice. I usually like fruity scents in my shampoo and body wash but this is nice too.

For the price of this Aveeno shampoo, I was not very impressed. This shampoo is much pricier than other shampoos, so I expected amazing results, which I did not see. It worked just about the same for me as what I usually use, which is Herbal Essences. I have long hair. It did the job, left my hair feeling clean. It didn't leave my hair silky smooth or extra soft. I kind of thought it would. I bought this product hoping it would be good for my long hair, since I need more nourishment for all of my hair. The results were average, but nowhere near it's price tag. The packaging is sleek and modern. I'm not sure exactly, but it seems like you get less shampoo compared to other brands, since it is a thin packaging design, which would result in high cost, less shampoo. It smelled nice and it lasted for a good while, but also, for the price I would say try something different for a much better price.

Aveeno is one of the best products to use for healthy skin, and hair. I also use the body and face wash. I love how natural their products are. The scents they have are perfect. This is the only shampoo and conditioner I use. I use all Aveeno products. I highly recommend them to everyone all skin/hair types. Scent I love all the natural scents that Aveeno has in their selection.

Aveeno shampoo is a great product and works really well. I like how it does not leave my hair brittle and dry like most others. The price is a bit high but is worth the purchase. When I go shopping I make sure that I pick up about 3 or 4 bottles to keep me going for the entire month. It is one of the best shampoo products that is available. When I run out of soap I turn to this product and use it with getting irritated. Aveeno is a known brand and is worth talking about and spreading the word about how good it works. Give it a try and you will be amazed by the results. I also like when I experience dandruff that the soothing effect really helps and stops the burning and itching that is associated with the dandruff. The smell of the product is just right nothing over powering or that will make you not want to use it. In my opinion it will work on any hair and not cause damage to it. Using this wonderful product will be worth the money being spent on it. I love Aveeno soothing shampoo!

I use as many Aveeno products as possible, but I was hesitant to try this shampoo because of the price. But I received a sample through the mail, and once I tried it I was hooked! I have thick hair but it is slightly frizzy and hard to manage. The Aveeno shampoo made my hair soft, it kept it's bounce, but took away the frizz! My hair was nice and smooth even after blow drying. It lathers very well and washes out clean, no film left behind or waxy feeling like some shampoos. And the smell is also very nice. It's not too perfumy or over powering, it's very fresh smelling. I also have a little color left on my hair and usually shampoos that aren't specific for color treated hair leave the colored strands feeling like horse hair. Not this Aveeno. It left my hair feeling like I had used a shampoo specific for color treated hair. For as much as I love Aveeno products I can't believe I waited so long to try this because I was worried about the price. Price is no longer even an issue. I will gladly pay the price (and more) for this product. I am very happy I received that sample. Scent Not over powering. Very clean and fresh smelling.

I received a sample of this Aveeno Shampoo a while back and was very pleased with the lather and scent. It really suds up even with the hard water that we have. And it was easy to rinse out. My hair is a bit on the long side and I do not use a conditioner. This shampoo left my hair easy to comb out and squeaky clean. It did not leave a residue on my hair that would make it lank and lifeless. I have very fine, thin hair. It didn't leave it flat nor did it leave it full of static electricity even during the winter when this can be a big problem. It is sold a a fair price and when combined with a sale and a coupon which is offered fairly often, you can not beat the value of this shampoo. I would recommend it to anyone with fine, thin hair. Effectiveness Lathers well and rinses easilty Scent delightful

I bought this shampoo and conditioner with some coupons and a deal...otherwise I would have stuck with something that I get free with coupons. I NEVER would have bought it without a great deal. Leaves my straight, fine, color treated hair feeling FANTASTIC!! I LOVE this shampoo. Better than Pantene. Great!!
