I had been using a different Aveeno face product that had been recommended by my dermatologist. When I needed a new tube, I couldn't find it anywhere. Apparently it had been discontinued. After looking at several of the different choices, I finally settled on this Aveeno Active Naturals Continuous Protection Sunblock with SPF 30 for Face. I've been using it all summer and my face has not gotten burned. I like that it is light weight and easy to apply. It doesn't have any kind of bad smell which is also a very positive thing! It's also a benefit to me that this product is not too expensive. The tube also lasts a decent amount of time as you don't need huge globs to put on your face at one time. The coverage is pretty good with just a small amount. I think the SPF 30 is enough for me for most of the time I wear it as I'm not a big sun worshipper. Most of the time when I"m sitting out in the sun, I also wear a hat to protect my face. If I didn't, I'd probably go with the SPF 70 to make sure I don't get a burn. I have my dermotologist appointment coming up, so hopefully, she will give this product the ok for me.

As having been a fan of Aveeno lotion for years, I was excited to try this product after recently become extra aware of my skin care and the need for sunscreen. One of the main things I had to think about when purchasing sunscreen is my acne. I have sensitive skin and everything I've ever put on my face has made me break out horribly. After trying this product I was immediately disappointed. My favorite brand (Aveeno) made my face burn. After the burning subsided I noticed that it does soak in fairly quickly and it doesn't leave my face greasy. It took me until the next day to realize how bad this sunscreen was. I woke up the next day with horrible acne all over my face worse than before. My face was also sunburned, which tells me I should have tried a higher SPF. I would not recommend this product to people with sensitive or acne-prone skin. I still use and love the various body lotions Aveeno has to offer, though.

Aveeno Active Naturals SPF 30 for Face works as a good everyday sunblock. I have several small tubes. I leave one in my purse and one in my back pack so that I always have sunblock with me. This is a nice sunblock that is light in feel. It doesn't feel heavy or thick. I use different sunblock products for different uses. This sunblock does not do well when I sweat, so I never use it when I ride bicycles or run. But it feels so much lighter than the sunblocks that I use that are sweat-proof. This product is perfect for a afternoon spent outdoors when I am not being active. It absorbs very well and when it is on, I can't feel it on my face. It does not clog my pores or make my skin fell covered or thick. I can reapply throughout the day without feeling caked on. It doesn't really have a smell -- which is nice. It actually smells like NOTHING to me! And I don't just use it for my face. My theory is that you can tell a woman's age by looking at three things: Her face. Her husband. And her hands. I use this sunblock on my hands a lot. I apply it to my face, then put a little more on my hands and rub it in. It's a great sunblock for "non-active" days.

Aveeno is one of my all time favorite name brands. Their products always seem to meet my skincare needs. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this product. Finally Aveeno has made a sunblock that offers continuous protection especially made to use on your face. The main reason I love this product so much is because it is oil free. I have combination skin so I appreciate oil free products. Scent I appreciate the light scent of this product. It is not too over powering. Absorption This lotion absorbs really well. Effectiveness The sun and I are not very good friends. I tend to burn very easily so I need to use sunblock all year round. Aveeno has created this sunblock with SPF 30 which is perfect for my skincare needs. It also provides UVA and UBA protection which is extremely important to me. Another thing that I love about this sunblock is that it's made with natural soy and contains vitamins A, C, and E. It's also water resistant which is perfect for a day at the pool or a walk on the beach. It is gentle enough to use every day.

I don't wear sunscreen often, my skin is usually fine without it, and I'm just not a big fan of it. When I do have to wear sunscreen, there are a lot out there that I do not like - either they are too chemically, or they stay white, or they stink, or they leave you feeling greasy... This sunscreen was purchased when we were in a pinch, and it was quite costly. It was worth it. This sunscreen goes on smoothly and leaves your skin feeling nice and smooth and comfortable. It doesn't leave you feeling greasy in the least. This sunscreen comes in a small tube, which means it doesn't really last the longest - especially not if you apply the recommended amount. I really wish that it came in a bigger package. This sunscreen is a bit higher priced than most, which makes it not the most affordable stuff out there. I really like using this sunscreen for on my face, because of it's non-greasy feel. In conclusion: I'm a fan of this sunscreen and I recommend it.

I love this specific sunscreen lotion because it works very well, is nice for sensitive skin, and does not have an overpowering "sunscreen" smell. The texture is creamy but light enough for daily use. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. It does not have the heavy scent most sunscreens have,making it very appropriate for daily use. My skin is in great condition and I have been using this lotion for about a year now on a (mostly) daily basis. I use it on my 6-year-old, too, and it works great on her skin too. Scent This sunscreen lotion does not have an overpowering "sunscreen"smell. The smell is light, pleasant and subtle. Absorption It is on the creamy side, so it does take a few minutes before you may feel like it is well-absorbed. May not be the best choice if you wear a lot of heavy cream or liquid foundation make-up. Effectiveness My family has been using is for over a year, and we have never experienced a sunburn and our skin is in excellent condition.

I burn very quickly and my skin becomes irratated and itchy. This is the first sunscreen I tried that truely protected my skin from burning and kept my skin from dry out. I use it everytime I go out and the tube is long lasting, a little goes a long way. The cream has to be blended or it leaves whitespots on your skin. Applying after make-up is tricky, but I use very little make-up during the day. Just blot on with cotton ball until absorbed.

I received Aveeno Active Naturals Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion as a sample. I just came back from a trip in Africa where the sun was extremely strong and I wanted to make sure my face was protected. I have sensitive skin and breaks out very easily. I used the Aveeno specificially for my face and liked that the sunblock was not too greasy and did not feel oily on my skin. Also it did not clog my pores which was great. I wish I had gotten one with a higher SPF and if I were to buy it myself I would prefer one with a higher SPF. One of the reasons I might not purchase this is because of the price. It is a bit costly and therefore not sure if it is worth it. Otherwise it is a good product and stays on the skin.

I have counted on the Aveeno sunblock for a few years ever since i have discovered it. Finally, a great sunblock for the face! I can use this for the beach or any outdoor activities to keep my face protected for hours in addition to being able to use on a daily basis.  Unlike so many sunblocks on the shelves, this does not give you such an oily feeling after applying on the skin. My fear of using other sunblock on my face is the oil that could run into my eyes. Sunblock that runs into my eyes get very painful and avert me from using sunblock on my face. Aveeno allows me to apply on my face without that fear, so i can feel comfortable using it on a regular basis.  The product is also water-resistant, so you can enjoy yourself swimming without reapplying so much. The only downside to the Aveeno sunblock is the price. It is a pricey sunblock to me on the shelf, so I get tempted to consider other facial sunblocks on the shelf. The quality and effectiveness of the product keeps me a loyal user though.

My wife discovered this sunscreen shortly before our honeymoon in Florida. As we lived in Seattle, she wanted to be sure neither of us burned badly on our trip. And we chose Aveeno because we thought it would be soothing for my skin and wouldn't irritate my eczema. It was a great decision, and the folks at Aveeno didn't let us down. My skin feels clogged easily, so sunscreen can be pretty unpleasant. But this stuff went on light and sunk in to my skin, rather than just sitting on it, making me aware that I just slathered down with cream. Once it was applied, I pretty much forgot about it, and I didn't burn at all while I was there.  One thing I cannot stress enough:Don't buy anything over 45 SPF if you can help it. Various studies/articles have shown that you more or less top out on protection there. Sunscreen companies just make higher SPFs to make you feel safer -- but the extra coverage is almost negligible and they charge more for them
