This is the perfect product for your dry scalp. I use it all of the time and it works so well. After I shampoo my hair, I apply Aveda scalp remedy. I then just dry and style my hair like normal. This product works better than anything else I've ever tried. I recommend it to anyone with dry scalp.

Aveda Scalp Remedy is the most convenient way to fight dandruff. What I really love about it is how you can just put a dropper full of it over the place on your scalp that is itching, and it works instantly! No more itch! Talk about convenient! The other thing that's nice about the way you administer it, is that you don't have to worry about the effect it will have on your hair. Dandruff shampoos can dry your hair out. I usually have to balance conditioning shampoos with dandruff shampoos, and it can be exhausting figuring out which one to use today. Aveda Scalp Remedy completely alleviates that dilemma. You can use your favorite moisturizing shampoo, and fight dandruff and itching all at the same time. So, it's a stress diffuser as well! Another thing I like about it, is that a little goes a long way. While it is gentle, it is very effective with a very small amount, so it lasts a long time. This is good, because it is a little pricey, except when you factor in how far it actually goes.

This is a product that I've been purchasing for several years. I can't live without it!I have kind of a mixed review though, as the product has been re-packaged and re-formulized.Their former product was in a brown glass dropper bottle, which I will admit was harder to use and yes...getting the last bit out was always a challenge. (I took to just placing it upside down and pouring it out into the palm of my hands, so I always did get the last drop!)The old formula I liked because it felt more soothing, when applied. (the creamy texture was a VERY welcoming feeling on my scalp)The new formula will take a bit of getting used to...it does seem to work EXTREMELY well, but gave my hair kind of a dull, dirty texture when I finished blow drying it.  :(I'll continue to use it, because it works so well, BUT, I'll need to experiment with how I use it. (I may decide to apply it to my dirty hair and scalp and wash it out the next day, so I don't get that lifeless look, like I did the first time.(I always applied the old formula to my clean scalp and then blow dried my hair, which worked just fine)I do like the new bottle. One, because it's plastic and works well for travel, and two because it pumps out, instead of needing to use a dropper.Oh, the price doubled with the new product as well! So I hope it lasts twice as long as the original formula!! :)

This tonic is wonderful! All you have to do is take the stopper and squirt some tonic on your hair, concentrating on the areas that itch. Then, just blowdry and you're done. No more itching! Once you get the problem under control, you only have to use once/twice a week. No smell, no fuss, doesn't leave a residue on your hair. Totally undetectible!  This is the best thing I've found to help me with my itching!

This is a miricae worker. Aveda scalp remedy is absolutly amazing. Its great if you have dandruff or your experiencing an itchy winter scalp. It is also amazing for psorasis. I have know many people that have had horrible psorasis on their scalp and have not been able to find any relief. I have a friend that tried everything else on the market, even perscrition shampoos for psorasis and had no releif at all and dealt with her psorasis for years without any hope, then she saw this in an aveda salon and wondered if it would help her scalp and figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. After just a few uses her itching was gone, she was sooo happy. Then after a couple weeks you could visually see that her scalp had healed. I had a cousin with the same problem, so i got him this product and he was relaly skeptical but he had great results from it as well. I highly reccomend this product to anybody experiencing any kind of scalp problem.

Aveda Scalp remedy works wonders. I use this product regularly when I have itchy scalp, have bad places in my scalp, if my scalp feels yucky or bad, or if it is itchy. It really works fast. My husband says he likes it probably more than I do because he gets itchy scalp all the time but when he uses this product, the itching goes away. I know that before I started using this product, my scalp didn't feel so hot. What I mean to say is that it felt rough. Now it feels great, and I only use it mostly when I have itchy scalp. You only use a little bit of it, as it does go a long way. We both have been using this product for a very, very long time, and we are still using the same container. However, it is almost gone now. I have not looked since I bought this item the first time, but I have been told that's it's hard to find. I will go back to the same store that I bought it from the first time, and I sure hope they carry it. I am sure, though, if I can't find it anywhere, I can order it online. I do not anticipate having that problem, however.
