I absolutely adore this conditioner. I love Aveda hair care products. A few years ago I didn't even know what Aveda was. I booked an appointment at an Aveda salon and I was in love! Aveda is all about natural and luxurious hair care and I love that. When I use this conditioner it makes me feel like I'm in the salon chair. The scent is so invigorating! I really don't like fruit or floral scents as much since they have the tendency to over take and become very potent. This rosemary mint conditioner smells natural and it's wonderful! I also love that it feels more like a deep conditioner next to other conditioners that I have tried in the past. My hair was silky and soft for hours! It was like getting my hair done professionally every time I used it. It is rather expensive but they have a lot of specials online that make it worth the money. I would recommend to buy it at least once to try it. I don't think you would be disappointed! Scent Amazing

I have tried a lot of Aveda products over the past couple of years, and there is one thing that they all have in common: that wonderful, amazing, Aveda smell. It varies, but it is always there. The Rosemary Mint Conditioner is one of their best products as far as scent goes. It is so bright, clean, and refreshing, and makes this a great product to use in the morning to really wake you up and get you going for the day! Aveda's products are pretty natural compared to other brands, which I love. Although it is good, the conditioner itself has not been my favorite. It just does not condition the hair as well as other products do, including other Aveda conditioners. If my hair weren't already dry and needing that extra conditioning power, that would be fine, so I am sure that this would work well for some people. Good product, but not as good as some others from Aveda, at least not for dry hair.

I think they need to change the description of this conditioner. Many people get frustrated with this product because they are so use to the "quick result" stuff in the market. But in the long run, THIS is a product you want to keep in your bathroom. Disregard what other people say and what the label instructs. Read what I write below and you will reap the TRUE benefits of this product.  This conditioner is meant to condition and treat your SCALP and then your hair. Think about it, by the time your hair grows, it's very difficult to change the root of each strand of hair. BUT, if you use this once every week or two weeks, concentrating on really massaging this into your scalp, you will notice your hair becoming more healthy. This conditioner is light in the sense that it does not soften your hair, or make it silky. It's not meant for that. Whenever you use other conditioner's that do this, it's really leaving some residue on your hair or stripping your hair of certain nutrients, making you feel like it's "soft" and "smooth." This simply cleans your hair and give's it the nutrients it needs. THIS IS NOT a conditioner you want to use before a nights out. People will smell it and think "Granny" or "herbal" stuff. Use this at night or on a day when you will be spending the next few hours at home. Again, this is not a product you want to use if other people will be smelling your hair or will get close to you. I have been using this for over a year, and I love it. My hair was badly damaged by coloring it. But after I started to use this, I noticed my hair starting to change back to it's original softness. If you are into giving your partner showers, this is also a great product to use on them, concentrating again on the scalp to give them a refreshed feeling.

Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo and conditioners are hair care products that I use from time to time. I was first introduced to these when my husband and I spent the night at a five star hotel, and the hotel had samples of both, along with hand lotion, in the bathroom. I liked them so much that every morning I would pack them into my suitcase and the hotel maids would leave me another set each day! Both the shampoo and the conditioner have a nice fresh scent, one that is invigorating and is nicely blended with both the scent of rosemary and mint fragrance. I find using this conditioner a pleasant experience in the mornings! My hair is sikly fine and I have to be careful when using conditioners because some brands leave my hair looking dull. That doesn't happen with the Aveda Rosemary Mint Conditioner. It makes my hair feel smooth and soft, and my hair still has that squeaky clean feeling after it is rinsed out. If the scent isn't to your liking you shouldn't have to worry about it because the scent is not noticeable after my hair has been styled and sprayed with setting spray. Aveda uses natural ingredients like peppermint leaf extract, rosemary leaf extract, coconut based moisturizers, vitamin E, rice bran, jojoba seed oil, B vitamins, peppermint oil, soybean oil, and grapefruit seed extract. I love the integrity of the ingredients and feel better using something that is naturally based. Aveda Rosemary Mint Conditioner is intended for fine to normal hair, and claims to "leave hair healthy and full of body". Since my hair is as straight as a stick I have to use other hair care products to give me the body I need, but the Aveda does not weigh it down. This is definitely not a heavy duty conditioner, and that works just fine for me. Effectiveness It conditions and detangles my hair without weighing it down or leaving it dull Scent Love the fresh scent, one of the best attributes of this product!

Aveda Rosemary Mint is probably their best-selling and best-known hair care line.  The scent is absolutely fantastic -- clean and bright, and very wake-me-up-in-the-morning.  On the other hand, I find it almost *too* energizing a scent to use in the evenings.  It is also not really a scent you can mix with another one.  I find that when I use this conditioner, I also have to use the shampoo, or else the combination of scents with another brand's shampoo results in an odd muddle of scents that is not very pleasant. The conditioner itself is pretty good.  Like the shampoo, it feels tingly on the scalp.  It is a lightweight conditioner, probably best for oily or normal hair rather than dry/ damaged hair.  It rinses cleanly, so no greasy residue.  It leaves my hair shiny and feeling clean, not weighed down, and keeps it from getting tangled.  I don't know that it can repair damage (can any conditioner?), but it's lightweight enough for an everyday conditioner.

The fragrance of this conditioner transports you mentally to a spa. It is amazingly refreshing and relaxing. I love using this product and coming out of the bath or shower feeling like I have soft and clean hair. It slightly tingles on the scalp in a fresh minty kind of way. I would definitely recommend it! The combination of these two herb fragrances just WORKS.

I hate to write a bad review for an Aveda product because I absolutely LOVE Aveda and all of its products, but I have been somewhat unimpressed with their cheaper line the Rosemary Mint collection. I like the smell and all but it leaves a weird residue on my hair and doesn't seem to leave it feeling clean. I realize that this is their bottom-of-the-line product, but I definitely expected more from Aveda and its products. I will not be purchasing this line again and I would not recommend it to a friend. I am hoping that I just got a bad bottle or something flukey with the products I got because I do like the smell and price of this line. I will go on to say, though, that almost all of Aveda's other products are superb and excellent. I love all their other lines of shampoos and conditioners and hair care. So I couldn't just leave a bad review about one product without raving about all their other good ones.

Aveda products have been around forever and I am so glad to have finally found them. Someone gave me the Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner and I am thrilled! The Aveda conditioner has done wonders for my dried out 47 year old hair. First, the conditioner smells absolutely wonderful and you almost have an aromatherapy session going on while you are conditioning your hair. Second, the conditioner is very concentrated so you do not need to use very much. The bottle should last for months and a little of this stuff goes a long way. It left my hair feeling very silky and soft and once I blowed my hair dry, it looked very, very shiny and not brittle. I like the fact that Aveda products are all natural. The products are all very expensive but if you are looking for something to help bring some life back into your hair, try Aveda's Rosemary Mint Conditioner (and shampoo). I highly recommend this to anyone!

I LOVE how this conditioner feels on my hair. I get little tingles at the root of my hair, on my scalp, whenever I use this. It leaves my hair feeling soft and easy to comb. It smells wonderful too. It had just the right balance of fragrance; it is not overpowering at all. The small bottle is reasonable, although I am sure that the larger bottle, while more expensive, is probably more economical. Still I use very small amounts, and it goes a long way. Recommended, even if just on fragrance alone. Similar products with the same fragrance don't compare.
